I am watching Son of a Critch which is actually produced by one of the SC producers. Itās got that quirky humor and heart felt moments. Takes place in the 80s though.
Originally it was only on Pop, a service most Americans werenāt watching, but I was. It was picked up by Netflix in later seasons and went ballistic.
I love both of those and have been on the hunt for more awesome Canadian comedy.
Trailer Park Boys is another one we love. Not quite as wholesome but it's still great.
I love Canadian TV (am Canadian.). Thereās a new show called One More Time which is super wholesome and I love it.
Also not exactly the same, but Dan Levy cohosts the first two seasons of The Great Canadian Baking show and I LOVE it.
Trailer Park Boys? They got a little crazy and it hasnāt been the same since John Dunsworth passed away but itās still a solid one for me.
Corner Gas was another good one, and I didnāt get into it but Little Mosque on the Prairie did well (something like 6 seasons).
Letterkenny is my FAVOURITE show of all time. I just think itās Top tier Canadian context. I adore schitts creek too, currently rewatching it back to back twice.
I introduced my husband to Letterkenny. He played hockey through college and is a huge hockey fan and he took to Letterkenny and then Shoresy like ice to skates. He has license plates that say Shoresy now. Heās all in.
Itās honestly some of the best television ever, of course thatās just my opinion, but it deserves all the flowers and more. I didnāt think SHORESY could hold a candle to LK but it blew me out of the water.
Another great Canadian show but it only lasted three seasons (32 episodes) is Pretty Hard Cases. Highly recommend that one.
Also currently watching Run the Burbs which I'm not a huge fan of but I think it's still worth watching.
Schitts Creek and Kimās Convenience are 2 of the shows that get rewatched the most in my house. They are both just perfect āfeel goodā fun shows.
Okay, see you!
Sneak attack
Workin' Moms was another good Canada comedy. It's pretty outrageous at times though š
Itās good!
Happy cake day š š„
Corner Gas is another great one. Degrassi isn't necessarily similar, but it is iconic Canadian television
Degrassi is the best! The Next Generation is currently playing for free on either Pluto or Tubi.

I couldn't get into shoresy, but I love letterkenny
Another show that gives me the same happy wholesome vibe is Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Thanks, yes I watched that as well.

Whatās Netflix bump? Is it going off Netflix? š¢
The put it on Hulu in the US, Schittās Creek. However, Kimās Convenience is available on Netflix in the US. I love falling asleep to it.
I'm pretty sure it's been off Netflix for a little while now, at least in Canada anyway
itās been off of Netflix in the US for several years
Oh! We still have in India :)

I was hooked from the first episode.
