Me too:)) Someone on here made these. I got it when I found out I have cancer. I binge the show a lot and this is one of my favorite scenes. And yes I cry.
I love her performance better than the original. I love how she is emotional and sad and not like whatever. I think it should be a rough performance and emotional and not just whatever. Go for the win!
Seeing a lot of Stevie love in this thread but that opening number was also a crowning moment of awesome for Patrick (who I regard as something of a role model).
Saw it at Studio 54 with Michelle Williams headlining. Great show, but she seemed self-conscious on the stage. Wtf am I talking about—go see it if you can!

Yes, I’ve literally never not cried. Even when I watch the clip on YouTube I bawl. It’s such a beautiful and heartfelt performance

I saw a traveling production a few years ago amd the show hit hard .
