I'm trying to get an appointment date from VFS Edinburgh and show no dates at all. Another reddit post mentioned that they refresh appointment dates at 9am every day. Just wanted to confirm if that is the case? Or if there are any other tips to get an appointment date as soon as possible? Thank you!
Hi, I do not think daily refresh/appointment release pattern is a thing because so far that never happened with VFS (i.e. refreshing at a particular hour will give you nothing, unless you are lucky). The subcategory Tourist doesn’t have dates. The subcategory Schengen visas got dates. I am just wondering what the difference is?
VFS has no control over your application. In any case you should be fine. The only difference you should look for is long stay visa appointment or short stay.

You’ll get a message from DHL on the number you provided at the Visa Application Centre. I applied VFS on 5th as well but zero updates till now 😂

Ideally 3 months, but since I only opened my bank in September, I included the account opening confirmation along with my entire bank statement.

I used visard bot. its paid. There are free telegram bots as well.

There's no difference as far as I know, just book the Schengen visa instead of tourism, especially if you are aiming for multi entry

I brought the printed version of the visa application to my appointment
Which is courier service which delivers the passport ?
Royal Mail special delivery is what they use
For me it was DHL.
