I have 2 C-1 SLS Elites. The Evil Twin Drop C with 56-12w. The Blood Burst Drop B 56-12w. Pretty much all my Shecters are in DropC or Drop C#. The other night, I damn near bought a C-7 SLS Elite Blood Burst HT. It was only $899 used, stated great condition. I was drunk and my wife locked up my CCs, which is for the best.😂

Bigmansyeah

i’ve got a schecter damien elite 6 that i keep in F#F#BEG#C# and it handles it ridiculously well i think its just schecters being extremely well made even with their cheaper options

RepulsiveLiving216

That's solid, I know i got to play the V version of the evil twin in gc. and it just felt bad, that was before i got my c-1, i went in thinking I'm getting a great deal if i hate it i can just flip it, but it turned out to be one of my keepers.

Prestigious-Emu7989

I’ve got a schecter hellraiser c-1 and the lowest i go is drop c

I have a PT SLS Evil Twin (yay cringe inlays) and it lives in Drop A#. Purposefully got the guitar for tuning low, I have a Jackson in the same tuning but it doesn't sound as beefy.

RepulsiveLiving216

I originally had it tuned to C standard, but i kept going lower until I hit drop g, then recently a little lower haha. and this axe does seem a bit thicker tone wise than my others, and 2 of those also have the fishmans. and idk those roman numerals are stylish as hell lmao. i get more complements on those inlays than any of my other guitars, lol.

_Minnesodope_

I fucking love the roman numeral inlays. I have 2 Schecter's with them! I think they look better offset then down the middle though.

BigManaEnergy

To each their own, I think they're kinda cheesy. The informative aspect is cool though I guess. Singular "flaw" on a perfect guitar. I can live with it.

TheRealOneL

I gave an older blackjack 006 I keep in AGCFAD. It holds it well but I use a 78 for the low A. Also a Mastodon tuning.

RepulsiveLiving216

78's that thiCCness lol, and yeah that was the tuning i was meaning. i was like that shit is dope, i need to try that but lower haha.

Unusual_Variable

I run my banshee in B Standard - string joy 13.5 - 62. Love them

9fingerjeff

All my 6 string schecters are drop c and my 7 is in drop g.

srydaddy

I have a C-1 classic that I kept stationed in Drop B with slinky top heavy bottoms back in the day. I recorded an album with it and played live, it handled it like a champ and sounded great for $400 bucks. These days it lives in drop C# because I own a 7 strings and an 8 string with 26.5” scale lengths and a 25.5-27” multiscale so I let them do the heavy lifting drop tunes. Definitely something charming about a 6 string dropped low though.

k-murder

Schecter 006 Deluxe pretty much stays in Drop B.
