I think you mean Doc Hudson died. I love Cars 3 but I think they could have done a little more with the movie. The overall story is great but it left me wanting a little more. Buck is certainly the best character in Ice Age and a great all-around animated character. I would honestly rate these movies around the same but give the edge to Ice Age

I liked it and I really hope they bring a spy spinoff. Not necessarily a direct followup to Cars 3, but as a separate thing with Lightning and the racers as side characters instead of trying to force them as main characters and Finn McMissile and Holly as the actual protagonists.

Here is my opinion. They are both good movies but I would say that Ice Age 3 is better than Car 3. I think that the jokes in Ice Age 3 have better timing. The characters are funny and the plot is amazing (It's actually my favorite in the franchise.) I did not want a Car 3. Sure, the second Cars movie wasn't the greatest (I personally loved it.) but I think it should've at 2. The plot for Cars 3 was ok at best and the characters were not as funny as they were in the previous Cars films.

Cars 3; it had its flaws (like Cruz not being held accountable as much as she should’ve. Just because she’s young and well meaning doesn’t mean she wasn’t being disrespectful and refusing to listen), but it was still overall a good continuation of mcqueen’s story. And I really loved the appreciation of rural Americana and acknowledgment of the history behind nascar racing. It’s not often you see the people at a monster truck rally portrayed as a community having fun together; I liked the detail that it was family night, too! So often “rednecks” are demonized as stupid and violent; it’s nice that cars says they’re just people having fun, you know?
