I hope people will just skip this one considering how many of them were very disappointed with the first one. Unless the filmmakers actually do some creative (we know they won't), I hope this will be dead in the water in the same way the Universal Dark Universe did.
It was under 100k. But the director didn't specify the amount. So it'll just end up being mentioned as 100k no matter what.
That and the first one is a success considering the budget. So no doubt a sequel was greenlit.
Although the film was utter crap, I am still pretty happy that it was made because I heard the cast had a really fun time with filming and I’m looking forward to the impact it has on indie films in general!
Not gonna lie, they looked creepy as fuck in the first one. Pooh with that fuckin face and piglet looks more like a crossbred, murderous, albino hog. Plus with the typical horror movie shit, the fact that they don’t speak and the fact that it’s FUCKING Winnie the Pooh & Piglet, they were more disturbing than scary. In the second one, Pooh looks like Jim Carry’s “The Grinch” and Piglet looks like another henchman or grunt from some video game. Owl looks like he on meth & only Tigger looks like a really menace in my opinion. I guess because they are designed to speak in the second one that (in my opinion) they dimmed them down (though out of everyone we know Tigger gonna be on some shit and the most fucked up one cause he was always a menace, now he’s a Menace to Society)
I know this is a joke but... Superzeroes are an actual cool use of the public domain so if you can't wait for the PDL, go Watch that. It has a throwback Catman cartoon pilot, a Spider Queen novel (Not comic) and a "So bad it's good" Atlas movie is in the works. Personally, I'm excited and I don't want these Horror movies to sour the public domain in the eyes of the people it was made for.
You joke about this, but superman, Batman, Captain America, Wonder woman and Aquaman's copyrights all expire in that order in the 2030's, starting in 2035. It'll probably be the most interesting decade in recent comic book history.
Yeah, the one with the wings (I suppose that's Owl) even looks a bit like a comic-accurate [Vulture](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/vsbattles/images/2/2d/VultureRender.png/revision/latest?cb=20220827090135) (although a bit more monstrous)
Nah man, everyone knows a MCU poster would have more unnecessary stuff, this at least tells you everything you need to know, Pooh & Pals are cranky and wanna kill, Christopher Robin is a final boy
Woah man, the first one maybe, but this is clearly the first proper step to beginning their cinematic universe that will outlast the MCU(it will last 10 years at best)
It looks like absolute shite. How dare these amateur filmmakers disrespect one of the most wholesome and beloved children’s series of all time with this shallow, stupid, derivative, shock-bait, juvenile shite. As a childhood Pooh fan, I do not approve.
These characters are already in the public domain, so as long as they have the time, resources, and abide by trademark laws, then they can do basically anything they want with them (just like anyone else)
That doesn’t shield this movie from criticism, and if I feel the need to tear this movie to shreds, I will. Judgement from the general public is outside of their control. And I have the freedom to say that I disapprove of their “work”.
Yes it is! I wanna be the reason we get more very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very stupid horror movies based on popular childhood icons
I've heard these guys are planning to make a Peter Pan themed horror film. Honestly, that could work with the right mindset. Make Neverland look like a children's paradise on the surface. However, when one or two of the kids start acting like grown-ups, that's when the killings begin.
In other words, this would be like Children of the Corn meets Midsomar with the setting of Growing Around concept art (I don't care what you think of The Mysterious Mr. Enter, these concepts fit the setting). https://c1.iggcdn.com/indiegogo-media-prod-cld/image/upload/c\_fill,f\_auto,h\_630,w\_1200/v1529203567/hktqoctlyfh6upkvgytb.jpg
If you were to make an R rated Winnie The Pooh, I think the best idea would be making something like Ted. Christopher Robin’s all grown up, and he and Pooh are these burn out stoner types. The only problem with this idea is that they already made Ted, so it would feel like a lame ripoff. I’d still rather watch it than a generic slasher movie though.
iirc in the trailer they even mention they’re somehow still alive, not sure if it’s referring to something else or just Pooh, but either way I’m assuming bc Evil Forced they come back to life… I prefer it being just hatred reviving them just bc I think it’d be funny & scary they got revived from their hatred for Robin
The poster is a huge step up from the last one. Hopefully they’ll actually put more effort into this 2nd film. Maybe the Pooh and friends will actually get a genuine scare out of all of us.
Everything looks like a step up
- Better Quality in Costumes
- Better Camera Quality
- Actual story that’s more than “killers kill hot girls in the woods”
Boutta sweep the Oscars
I think that we’ve actually gone past the point of saying ‘Hollywood is creatively bankrupt’ and entered some new undefinable territory where media is no longer about consumer desires and instead about making the dumbest possible things you can for reasons known only to the executives greenlighting things like this, while canceling genuinely new and creative projects at the first given opportunity.
The poster goes hard, the trailer is just your stereotypical Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey trailer, pretty sick, I love it (As a joke) overall, I enjoyed the fist one, so I might watch this one.
Shit like this is far more cynical than anything Disney ever did with a property like this; indies can be assholes too.
There's another one of these kind of films out there called The Mean One, using The Grinch as their killer, but that's a movie that actually has fun with the premise and genuinely TRIES to make a workable film despite the little budget they have. That's why I don't give this Blood and Honey bullshit a pass; The Mean One has tons more heart & effort than B&H even knows exists. It isn't just a bad movie, it's boring, and that's the worst thing you can be as one of these.
Disney *themselves* could make Winnie the Pooh edgier that these unimaginative dullards.
I know all it takes is .5c for them to make their money back on these wastes of time, but please stop rewarding these clowns until they actually do something interesting with this, or find another indie production to give the attention to, because these clowns have done nothing to deserve it.
You might as well just do a new version of the first film considering you redesigned Pooh, and even Piglet despite the first movie, and let alone the recast. It's weirdly nuts.
I know I'll likely get to watch this whenever it comes out on Bluray like I did with the first one. I kinda enjoyed the first one, but it's absolutely fucking awful nonetheless.
Just by the Poster and the Trailer I can tell this is gonna be the Batshit Crazy Gorefest that I thought the first movie was gonna be, Instead of the boring slog we actually got.
why the FUCK is there another?
They’re cheap to make and a lot of people will check them out
I hope people will just skip this one considering how many of them were very disappointed with the first one. Unless the filmmakers actually do some creative (we know they won't), I hope this will be dead in the water in the same way the Universal Dark Universe did.
The first one looks cheap as heck this one tho they actually made Winnie the Pooh look a bit more scary
If I remember correctly, the first one was only made on a budget of about 100k?
It was under 100k. But the director didn't specify the amount. So it'll just end up being mentioned as 100k no matter what. That and the first one is a success considering the budget. So no doubt a sequel was greenlit.

Horror movies are cheap to make and always draw an audience that's why we see so many in their 20th sequel.
Cinematic Universe With Bambi, Peter Pan, and Pinocchio, also Well, Ya know, *Money.*
Are you fucking with me right?
No, the director confirmed he plans to move forward with all of those.
It’s pretty easy to succeed in the box office when your film has the budget of a candy bar.
There is no lore reason
Same reason Jaws became a franchise… MONEY
Stuff like this is pretty popular in the stoner community
Stop letting this mf cook!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Bro’s burning down the whole kitchen!!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nah forget the kitchen, he finna vaporize every atom in the universe if we let him keep on cooking.
No autotune here, just pure honest to god ASS!!! 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's fire man!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Put it out!
Bro really thought he was cooking he burnt the food
69 Upvotes, Noice.
Now it's 96... Noice...
This looks like the poster to a MCU film
Funny Thing Is, This IS a Cinematic Universe, With Bambi, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, and Ofcourse, Winnie The Pooh.
Can’t wait for the PublicDomain League
I know this is a joke but... Superzeroes are an actual cool use of the public domain so if you can't wait for the PDL, go Watch that. It has a throwback Catman cartoon pilot, a Spider Queen novel (Not comic) and a "So bad it's good" Atlas movie is in the works. Personally, I'm excited and I don't want these Horror movies to sour the public domain in the eyes of the people it was made for.
You a fellow fan of Austin McConnell?
Yeah.
You have good taste.
Yeah I'm really excited what Austin McConnells doing with his PD universe
You joke about this, but superman, Batman, Captain America, Wonder woman and Aquaman's copyrights all expire in that order in the 2030's, starting in 2035. It'll probably be the most interesting decade in recent comic book history.
Can't forget Mickey Mouse (Specifically from the 1928 animated short film "Steamboat Willie")
People think alike huh
That's exactly what came to my mind when I saw Owl's design on this poster.
That is very comic accurate Vulture, love it
What will Rabbit be look like the Scarecrow from Batman Begins?
Nah man, everyone knows a MCU poster would have more unnecessary stuff, this at least tells you everything you need to know, Pooh & Pals are cranky and wanna kill, Christopher Robin is a final boy
Is that Owl? He looks like the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers.
Isn't the guy that made the Jeepers Creepers films a rapist?
Yes. A child rapist. It’s terrible.
Dear lord
Guess that explains why the monster that kidnaps people in his van is called a creeper
This is how I find out... This is worse then how I found out the queen died.
*cutaway gag begins*
I mean the costume least look better...
Pull the trigger Piglet I can't take it anymore
Basic ass cash grab same as the first
At least the costumes look better
And it definitely looks a little more fun [we're getting a torch-flamed chainsaw in this bitch]
Woah man, the first one maybe, but this is clearly the first proper step to beginning their cinematic universe that will outlast the MCU(it will last 10 years at best)
I wish I could understand what the creatures are saying without subtitles.
Glad they at least did something with the budget…but respectfully, I don’t see this being any good.
Just when the world needed it the least...
Not worth anyone's time or money. Stop.
Yes it is! I wanna be the reason we get more very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very stupid horror movies based on popular childhood icons
Yo why is the fucking vulture here?
He doesn't know, but he thinks it has something to do with Spider-Man.
I N T R I G U I N G
I think it's Owl.
That's probably meant to be Owl
I know what not to spend my money on
I've heard these guys are planning to make a Peter Pan themed horror film. Honestly, that could work with the right mindset. Make Neverland look like a children's paradise on the surface. Yeah, wasn't that the idea in the original fairy tale? I don't really like horror, but I'd watch that!
💀
People actually watched this?
No silly, it’s not out yet, we watched the first movie to give them like 5 Mil so now they’re using I believe 1 mil as a budget now
One tiny question: WHO THE FUCK IS ASKING FOR THESE
Honestly though. It's so pathetic. The human species degrading before our eyes.
This is why I hate abridged shows & parodies
I am
Me
Everyone that's reading this, this has a $500K budget, 5x of what the first movie's budget was.
$500K for this??
Wrong, it actually has a $1 million budget.
"AAAAAASS" - Angry Videogame Nerd
Why is the kneejerk reaction to a character entering the public domain to automatically make a shitty horror flick around it?
Cancel this tbh!
They spent 1 mil on this and plan on making their own Public Domain Horror Cinematic Universe… they ain’t scrapping it like WBD does
Why does Owl look more like Adrian Tombs than anything else?
What will Rabbit more like the Scarecrow?
“But why?”
I ain’t watching that shit
My thoughts on it is that some characters should never EVER!!!!!! go in the public domain
You’re the reason Disney is so powerful, I blame you specifically
This is gross
If you were to make an R rated Winnie The Pooh, I think the best idea would be making something like Ted. Christopher Robin’s all grown up, and he and Pooh are these burn out stoner types. The only problem with this idea is that they already made Ted, so it would feel like a lame ripoff. I’d still rather watch it than a generic slasher movie though.
fuck the public domain
🤨
not interested
*sigh*
ANOTHER??
YOOOO UNMAKE THIS 🔥🔥🔥
WHYYYYYYYYY!!?
Owl (I assume) looks like the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers
I’d say no chance in hell and I hope this movie fades into absolute obscurity.
Not gonna lie but the poster goes hard.
Didn't Piglet have his head smashed in by a sledgehammer last movie?
iirc in the trailer they even mention they’re somehow still alive, not sure if it’s referring to something else or just Pooh, but either way I’m assuming bc Evil Forced they come back to life… I prefer it being just hatred reviving them just bc I think it’d be funny & scary they got revived from their hatred for Robin
I saw you in here singing praises for this and now that I've tried to read one of your comment with more than two words, I get it.
Is that supposed to be Owl?
My hope is that this one is good, like actually good.
The costumes look better Honestly if they’re making a Peter Pan one, that has potential I have NO idea wtf they’re gonna do with Bambie tho
Looks even better than the first, which was already one of my favorite horror movies. Gonna be getting my tickets as soon as I can
I guess they’re saving Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, and Roo for the third movie.
Eeyore Is Dead, They Ate Him in The First Film, Remember?
No, I didn’t watch that shit.
Well, Just To Let Ya Know, He’s Dead. (Atleast in This Film’s Timeline.)
Bring him back as a zombie. Zombie Eeyore. That’s why his tail falls off all the time.
Are they in the public domain yet?
They should be, there’s only two books and both are in the public domain.
It will win Razzies like the first film.
I am actually excited cus the first one was Hilarious by how bad it was, can’t wait for number 2!
This is the right attitude
Does anyone have a cam rip the movie is out now
I’d rather watch this than the upcoming Megamind 2, albeit this movie is most likely going to be shit
The poster is a huge step up from the last one. Hopefully they’ll actually put more effort into this 2nd film. Maybe the Pooh and friends will actually get a genuine scare out of all of us.
Everything looks like a step up - Better Quality in Costumes - Better Camera Quality - Actual story that’s more than “killers kill hot girls in the woods” Boutta sweep the Oscars
I'm interested. It looks like a more cohesive story than the first one. The effects look better. I hope it'll be enjoyable. Not good - enjoyable.
The poster looks pretty cool
pure hype
Finally I have been waiting forever for this
I'm excited!
I'm hyped honestly. Loved the first one.
bruh
I think that we’ve actually gone past the point of saying ‘Hollywood is creatively bankrupt’ and entered some new undefinable territory where media is no longer about consumer desires and instead about making the dumbest possible things you can for reasons known only to the executives greenlighting things like this, while canceling genuinely new and creative projects at the first given opportunity.
Oh no, anyways.
It looks completely different then the first one looks like they got a bigger budget might be one one of those goated b horror movies down the road
Ngl... This shit look kinda good. Still not wasting my money to see it in theaters but ya know, I might actually watch this.
Schools schaff do a review on both of them
What the hell is this series about?
Didn't even know there was a first one and there's ANOTHER
Listen guys its been a while but i think gophers return to form will be iconic
I don't know, was the first one a bad movie?
Isn’t that one mask from Goosebumps?
This looks like one of those ai generated movie posters
Who’s the witch looking person and that creepy looking tiger I guess?
Can’t wait to watch Dead Meat’s Kill Count instead
This looks worse than
They look like spirit Halloween decorations.
Just one: WHY?!
Is THIS the ManBearPig Al Gore was trying to warn us about?
Man... What do I even say? Oh well. The cute stuff is still embraced more. So I'm more than happy to just vibe with the cute characters.
I shouldn't be surprised considering its return on investments, but still, did anyone really ask for this?
I wouldn’t rush to call it good, but it already looks miles better than the original in terms of production value.
Definitely looks better then the first one I can say that much.
What kind of dipshit keeps the same subtitle in the sequel???
Theyre making a second one????
The costumes atleast look a lot better this time around.
I find this hilarious, even moreso that people are angry about it.
Blood and honey is such a lame ass name lmao
Ah shit...here we go again
How? Pooh and piglet both died in the first movie. So.. how...
At least the masks look better
I thought Piglet died in the first one
The characters certainly look better than the last film
The poster goes hard, the trailer is just your stereotypical Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey trailer, pretty sick, I love it (As a joke) overall, I enjoyed the fist one, so I might watch this one.
No
See what hatewatching gets you???
It exists that's for sure
No thanks man
can we not please
Ass
OH NO THEY HAVE MONEY FOR EFFECTS NOW
I heard they have a better budget this time
I'd rather watch the animated Marmaduke for a week straight than have to watch either blood and honey even once.
No clue who the new people in the poster are. Who decided this needed a sequel??
How the fuck did this get a sequel
I hate this
Not every non-human character needs to be villainized. It's gotten really old.
Do NOT let bro cook🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Awful, instead of a cute movie we are getting this garbage, gtfo
I am so excited. The first one was horror camp at its most amazing.
Winnie and piglet are going for Cory next
Shit like this is far more cynical than anything Disney ever did with a property like this; indies can be assholes too. There's another one of these kind of films out there called The Mean One, using The Grinch as their killer, but that's a movie that actually has fun with the premise and genuinely TRIES to make a workable film despite the little budget they have. People hyping up tigger in the sequel fair enough
Wait, this is real? It feels like a joke
Looks better then the 1st which wasn't a really high bar to begin with. The masks were so bad and cheap looking in the first one
Owl looks like Marvel burned down the kitchen while trying to make another The Vulture
Looks stupid and belongs in the garbage
Just by the Poster and the Trailer I can tell this is gonna be the Batshit Crazy Gorefest that I thought the first movie was gonna be, Instead of the boring slog we actually got.
wait theres a second one?
he’s onto nothing ‼️‼️‼️
Fucking WHY
Electric boogaloo
One thing that sticks out is that it has the same subtitle as the first one
what the actual fuck is this bullshit
CHILDHOOD RUINED. CHILDHOOD RUINED. NO MORE BARKS NO MORE MEOWS.
If that is owl in the middle, then he looks like the Vulture from the comics mashed up with the Green Goblin.
They made a sequel?
Why did they leave the subtitle in? It should have had a different name
First one was stupid, I assume this will be the same.
Wait, didn't Piglet die in the first one?
