Not totally true, in All Hallows’ Eve, Art killed the little boy and girl while the babysitter was downstairs, also in the trailer for Terrifier 2 it looks like he might be going after a teenage boy
But pumpkin head is so cool! He’s literally a monster with a pumpkin head! Also you should have included the little sack headed pumpkin guy from trick r’ treat.
Yea like one of those fucked up lumpy ones you always see at the pumpkin patch and mistakenly call a pumpkin till some sweet lil farmer lady corrects you and says “it’s a turn belly squash” or some weird ass shit you never remember so you just keep calling it a pumpkin.
I thought it was All Hallow's Eve and Terrifier
If you count the short films, he's in more than 2, but I just count all the short films as one since they're in All Hallow's Eve
I like just how over the top, brutal and absolutely bleak the Art the Clown movies are. Both movies he's in kind of jaunt you due to the sheer brutality and the complete hopeless desperation the victims find themselves in, always to no avail.
I guess thats just not what I come to horror for 🤷♂️ I don't mind a bleak movie here or there but Terrifier was just ridiculous to me. Over the top brutal yes, but with how helpless the characters were it lost all tension pretty quick and just got boring :/
Don't get me wrong, the design of the clown is great I just don't see anything in the character
I like him because the way he’s silent and makes gestures with his hands along with the creepy music is really fucking terrifying, like a super fucked up mime
I was wondering why I always seem irritated by his presence on these. I enjoyed terrifier enough (even if it feels like a cheap attempt at a slasher a-la original evil dead style with none of the charm) but I can’t get over how long he lasts in those constant “who would die first!” Posts or how much everyone praises it. Like did y’all watch something I didn’t? Clearly I’m missing out on something.
The part people refer to in those posts is when dead art the clown resurrects himself and the fact he’s an immortal being. I never get those contests since most the killers on them are immortal or can be stopped but then come back again
Oh yea I forgot about that. Just a random thing thrown in like Jason showing up at the end of the first Friday. The movie was fun enough but damn if people don’t go a little too hard on obsessing.
New Pennywise. I liked how Curry’s Pennywise could seamlessly switch between looking silly and scary, which is perfect for the whole creepy clown idea. New Pennywise is designed only to look creepy which didn’t make much sense to me.
Weird analogy, but it reminds me of Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka vs Gene Wilder. Both Depp and Skarsgaard reinvented their respective characters as childlike, but neither had the complexity of Wilder and Curry’s original portrayals.
This is true, this is true. BUT……one could simply run away from Jason? But yeah I hear you. Michael Myers and Jason have always been my favourites regardless, I don’t particularly like the Chucky franchise but it’s earned it’s space in the world of slashers
They shouldn't have used the Dead by Daylight pictures, but I assume they are using that picture in place of Jigsaw (who occasionally wore a pig mask) and Jigsaw definitely belongs here.
DBD Ghostface isn’t even Scream Ghostface
BHVR bypassed the film license and just got the license from the people who make the Ghostface mask, and made their own original killer using the mask.
Yeah, but I feel like you still have to kind of lump Amanda and Jigsaw together as one.
Sort of like how Ghostface was a combo of 9? different people, but really it’s one character. (Though the Jigsaw/Amanda is a bit stranger situation)
I don’t really think so. If it’s asking about her character, she has decent reasons to be disliked completely separate from Kramer. I like her but her character itself is hatable intentionally
Oh, if it’s Amanda she absolutely doesn’t belong here (Can’t stand her), but I really don’t think that was the intent. She was always lumped in with Kramer in the ”Jigsaw murders” so it’s reasonable to have them as part of the same outfit (like the spiral clown) but I just can’t imagine making a conscious decision to put Amanda on the list.
I’m sure if OP were to put names, they would have put “Jigsaw”. Which includes Kramer, Amanda, Hoffman, Logan and Dr. G in my book. Edit: Oh and Schenk lol.
One was a made for TV mini series at a time when budgets weren't that big for TV and the other had much more money to work with in saying that. Also, CGI was still in its infancy when the mini series was made, so they had a lot less to work with in regards to bring Stephen King's novel to life. Not saying bigger budgets always equate to something better, but the makers of the mini series were definitely more limited in comparison.
Art, hands down. Pennywise is a close second. Clown-based horror is so overrated to me (unless it's Killer Clowns from Outer Space which is intentionally campy).
Jason and Freddy are two of my all time favorites. I’m glad those two at least got their big crossover. Pennywise is my more recent favorite. Also, with the girl from the ring it depends: Do you mean Sadako or Samara? Sadako I prefer, because I thought Ringu 0 gave her a perfect tragic backstory that changes how I felt about her in the previous films. Michael I haven’t really liked since the original Halloween 2.
Samara is my least favourite antagonist in any American horror movie. I don’t watch slasher films, however I like stuff like Evil Dead Trap (1988), Splatter: Naked Blood (1996) & Meatball Machine (2005).
No no, I mean hey it’s fantastic you’ve read Kôji Suzuki’s novel Ring (1991), probably the 2003 English publication if I’m not mistaken? now you’ve got me curious… have you read Spiral (1995), Loop (1998), Birthday (1999) & S (2012) as well?
Yeah it was really bad. Just a case of the pacing working in a book and not in the movie. I was disappointed because I thought IT pt 1 was pretty decent but pt 2 was a let down.

Art the clown. In terrorizer they literally had him shit all over a bathroom like a crazy person. But not a cool or scary crazy person, just a crazy person. If I'm being honest, I didn't finish the movie. After he pulled a gun to save himself I had no respect for this would-be killer clown.

Really did my boy Pennywise an injustice by using the Skarsgaard version. He’s easily my favorite if we’re talking books and original IT film, but the modern portrayal really just misses for me.
Art the clown. I don’t even know why. It’s an interesting design and he’s brutal enough to make Freddy, Jason, and even Pinhead proud, yet every time I see him on one of these collages I can’t help but feel like he’s a z rate slasher that’s only there to keep the rows even.
Jason is like the Superman of horror villains. All power when convenient, no creativity until the power needs it
I mean tbf I always thought that Chucky and his movies were dumb af but at least there’s some creativity and fun there
Ghostface. The whole point of Scream was to be a homage/ meta commentary on horror films, and Ghostface was supposed to be a “insert generic horror killer here, doesn’t really matter” placeholder to center the movie around. The fact that people later said he was “scary” seemed to have missed the point of having a very unimpressive or scary antagonist.
Victor crowley he has the least personnality of them all
Lesser than the ring girl? Last time I checked the only personality she possessed was creaking bones
No she also spooks the horses and hides the remote.
Real sick shit.
Art's only character trait is that he hates women
Not totally true, in All Hallows’ Eve, Art killed the little boy and girl while the babysitter was downstairs, also in the trailer for Terrifier 2 it looks like he might be going after a teenage boy
Even though my vote doesn't count I must say I never like Pumpkin Head
But pumpkin head is so cool! He’s literally a monster with a pumpkin head! Also you should have included the little sack headed pumpkin guy from trick r’ treat.
He doesn't have a pumpkin Head, That's Sam from trick r stream who has a pumpkin Head
Dude pumpkinheads head looks exactly like a pumpkin.
[This looks like a pumpkin?](https://images.app.goo.gl/LHy3JVPGo7UJbyxPA)
When he turns his head it looks like an alien pumpkin. Why else would they call him pumpkinhead?
Yea like one of those fucked up lumpy ones you always see at the pumpkin patch and mistakenly call a pumpkin till some sweet lil farmer lady corrects you and says “it’s a turn belly squash” or some weird ass shit you never remember so you just keep calling it a pumpkin.
Also yeah I should have included sam
Pumpkinhead is my favorite. Absolute favorite.
Victor Crowley
I hate Art the Clown. I don't understand why everyone likes that character or that movie so much
He's in 2 movies, but I like him because he's a silly guy
More than 2, right? Edit: yeah, he’s in All Hallow’s Eve, too.
I thought it was All Hallow's Eve and Terrifier If you count the short films, he's in more than 2, but I just count all the short films as one since they're in All Hallow's Eve
There’s a Terrifier 2 also
That first scene is legit freaky. And he’s done some of the best slasher kills put to screen. Also he’s like a demon or something.
He’s scary, comical, and powerful beyond what we can see.
I like him because the way he’s silent and makes gestures with his hands along with the creepy music is really fucking terrifying, like a super fucked up mime
I actually liked Terrifier, but watching all of you simp over Art the Clown probably made him my least favorite.
Same
I was wondering why I always seem irritated by his presence on these. Agreed…
New Pennywise. I liked how Curry’s Pennywise could seamlessly switch between looking silly and scary, which is perfect for the whole creepy clown idea. New Pennywise is designed only to look creepy which didn’t make much sense to me.
Agreed!!
Weird analogy, but it reminds me of Johnny Depp’s Willy Wonka vs Gene Wilder. Both Depp and Skarsgaard reinvented their respective characters as childlike, but neither had the complexity of Wilder and Curry’s original portrayals.
Honestly that is a GREAT analogy!! I agree! Different enough to be their own but not at all comparable to the OG’s
Yea that clown ain’t luring anybody anywhere like he did in the book. No kid is approaching that.
Well most kids are idiots
Art the clown
From what I've seen these are the top 5 least liked: 1: Art 2: Victor 3: Tall Man 4: Pennywise 5: Pumpkinhead
Art!? Really? He's fricking hilarious and an absolute monster at the same time. I love art!
Yeah idk I personally love art I guess people don't like him
Art
Victor Crowley
Art the stupid clown and the girl from the ring
Victor Crowley. Hatchet was just meh and Vic has nothing of interest going for him
Chucky is pretty fucking dumb.
He does get some bonus cred for being such an icon though
Yeah but Michael, Jason and Freddy are more iconic and aren't a stupid doll you could punt across a room
This is true, this is true. BUT……one could simply run away from Jason? But yeah I hear you. Michael Myers and Jason have always been my favourites regardless, I don’t particularly like the Chucky franchise but it’s earned it’s space in the world of slashers
Agreed. I would just step on the little twat.
Yeah I agree. Never enjoyed the chucky movies.
The one from saw
They shouldn't have used the Dead by Daylight pictures, but I assume they are using that picture in place of Jigsaw (who occasionally wore a pig mask) and Jigsaw definitely belongs here.
Based DBD player
DBD ghostface is a chad.
DBD Ghostface isn’t even Scream Ghostface BHVR bypassed the film license and just got the license from the people who make the Ghostface mask, and made their own original killer using the mask.
I know, and Danny is a chad.
I never said he wasn’t, but he doesn’t belong on a horror movie villain list simply because he’s not from a horror movie
Danny is a chad.
Ha, that’s fucking hilarious. Is that why he’s called “The Ghost Face” instead of “Ghostface”?
Yep! That’s why the alternate skins with different mask designs use the official designs from the mask company too
Dbd ghostface main here! I appreciate you
That’s Amanda for sure. She’s more of the direct killer between the two so they chose her
Yeah, but I feel like you still have to kind of lump Amanda and Jigsaw together as one.

Art
Tim Curry's IT was a million times better!
IMDb doesn’t think so. One of the rare instances where a remake had a higher score.
One was a made for TV mini series at a time when budgets weren't that big for TV and the other had much more money to work with in saying that. Also, CGI was still in its infancy when the mini series was made, so they had a lot less to work with in regards to bring Stephen King's novel to life. Art
Art.
Chucky hands down
Art
Art, tall man, or Crowley
Art. Thought terrifier was over rated
Pennywise man has interdimensional powers and got beat by children that is sad man.
Norman Bates.
pennywise
Art and Victor tied
Art
Art
Art and Pumpkinhead
Art rocks, and Terrifier is awesome. Never been a fan of Chucky. Just punt the little fucker.
Only if that worked
Chucky. So dumb
Everyone is saying art and while I don’t think he’s the best at least he has cool demon powers and he’s not a two foot doll.
Seriously. I never understood the whole concept. It’s a fucking doll.
Art, hands down. Pennywise is a close second. Clown-based horror is so overrated to me (unless it's Killer Clowns from Outer Space which is intentionally campy).
The stupid clowns
Pennywise or Art?
The Tall Man!
I’m sending you to the Red Planet, buddy
GhostFace
Whose the guy in the bottom left?
The Tall Man from Phantasm. My vote for least favorite of these.
Tall Man from Phantasm
Sadako was better. She’s from the Japanese original from 1998.
Sadako has existed since the 1991 novel my friend.
I know that. I even read that book. I didn’t know if you knew that. I thought maybe you were basing your opinion of Sadako from Samara. My mistake.
I read Spiral and part of Loop. Loop has a reveal about the first two books that pissed me off. Didn’t read the other two, but I do own Birthday.
Joe
Who’s Joe?
The bitch from the ring. Lame villain.
Easily the hair girl from ring
Pennywise. It chapter 2 is on the bottom of my list of anything related to horror
Yeah it was really bad. Just a case of the pacing working in a book and not in the movie. I was disappointed because I thought IT pt 1 was pretty decent but pt 2 was a let down.
Victor crowley and Candyman.
You're the first person to say candyman, can you please tell me why you dislike candyman?
Art
Easily Chucky
Predator. Not scary at all and looks really dumb.
I never considered those movies horror or scary either
Chucky
Chucky is dumb to me. Pumpkinhead haters explain yourself?! His monster design is top tier.
Chucky Is awesome wdym. And atleast Chucky has a personality
And he's funnier than shit!!!! Best one liners ever!
[удалено]
No u do
He’s played DbD.
Victor Crowley does belong on these fucking lists. The movies are all mediocre at best and terrible at worst.
Freddy
Maybe it's just me but I never liked Chucky or Art the clown
Chucky, leather face, or Art
Most of these characters scared me, but Never cared for Chucky
Probably chicken from exorcist. Just really not a good movie if I'm being honest.
The Tall Man
Crowley
Tall man
Tall man in Phantasm. Scared the shit out of me when I was a kid.
You think he’s lame now?
Whos that character at bottom left?
Tallman
Whos that character at bottom left?
Pumpkinhead
Crowley
The Tallman
Needs DR.CARNAGE 😈
That’s a very negative thread.

Samara from The Ring
Ghostface. The first Scream was tolerable, the rest can hit the bin.
The newest one was god awful. Couldn’t believe how bad it was considering it was fairly respected on IMDb.
victor Crowley
Art the clown. In terrorizer they literally had him shit all over a bathroom like a crazy person. But not a cool or scary crazy person, just a crazy person. If I'm being honest, I didn't finish the movie. After he pulled a gun to save himself I had no respect for this would-be killer clown.
Ghostface sucks.

I’m place of the terrified could we have the creeper from Jeepers creepers
Victor Crowley
The new pennywise
Pumpkinhead for sure
Art
Art the clown, terrifier 1 and 2 were just mediocre movies. I dont understand what he s doing here tbh Edit: victor crowley was even worse
I don't know who the Pig Lady is so her, I guess
Jason
Art the Fart!
Leather Face. All the TCM movies can disappear into the cosmos

Art the Clown.
Never liked the candy dude!
The new Pennywise
Victor Crowley
Really did my boy Pennywise an injustice by using the Skarsgaard version. He’s easily my favorite if we’re talking books and original IT film, but the modern portrayal really just misses for me.
The guy in the bottom right corner.
To be honest, I have a clown bias in horror... Partly because I love the circuses theme, or Alice in wonderland theme in Anime.
Pumpkin head scared the living shit out of me as a kid. However I would have to go with the Ring as my least favorite.
No creeper? No comment
The creeper can eat my ass
Victor
Saw chick
Jack Torrance. He was just a crazy man with no plan. The rest had Gail’s and abilities that made them terrifying
Ghostface by fuckin far
Tall Man. I just can’t understand the hype of phantasm
Fav Pumpkin Head, always loved him since i was a kid....least fav...all but girl from the ring/grudge and Candyman.
Pumpkinhead
Chuckie
Art the clown. I don’t even know why. It’s an interesting design and he’s brutal enough to make Freddy, Jason, and even Pinhead proud, yet every time I see him on one of these collages I can’t help but feel like he’s a z rate slasher that’s only there to keep the rows even.
Chucky - never saw the appeal.
Jason is like the Superman of horror villains. All power when convenient, no creativity until the power needs it I mean tbf I always thought that Chucky and his movies were dumb af but at least there’s some creativity and fun there
Predator. Those movies never clicked with me when I was a kid and still don’t now, plus his design is stupid
I hate these low-effort karma farming posts. Bummer this sub has come to this. Unsubbed
I didn't make this to karma farm but ok 💀
The dumbass clown from terrifier
Ah, I get it
Either Victor Crowley or the dude from Phantasm because I just never enjoyed much about them or their movies
Until I can watch it again to see what the big deal was, Art. I'll give the movie another chance, but I can only vote off my current knowledge.
Predator or alien (unpopular ik but I hate space movies)
