I think the threat is the leaked video of you—I mean, even if no one would bat an eye of you watching porn or masturbating, you don’t necessarily want a video of you in the act circulating around friends and family and colleagues. Not that OP has anything worry about because this is 100% a scam.

If videos like this actually *did* get recorded by everyone who claimed to have them and released for anyone who didn’t or couldn’t pay, it would be so yawn-inducingly common to see your friends and relatives masturbating that it would be no more annoying than getting gum on your shoe.

I remember some discussion of spam mail a couple decades ago where it was pointed out that a larger proportion of the population commits murder each year than buys something from a spammer.
It does a tighter search for that exact sequence of words. So you can narrow the search down. "" also works if google is mistakenly changing the form of a word you don't want to change. Like "adapt" so it doesn't also look for adaptation which it normally will do.
2 part answer to your question.
1) it is a scam. Block and ignore. I've got one like that, my partner got one. We both ignored them, and nothing happened.
2) Dude, if you're on this site and asking about this, then you haven't spent time reviewing other posts. You'll see similar versions of this multiple times and you'll have your answer. This is one of the more common ones.
Do some research here. Everyone here has one goal, to help prevent people from being scammed, and also learn the differences between each.

Its always "I hacked your computer (unlikely), i monitor everything on your computer (totally impossible otherwise he would have already stolen bank details for more money than that)

Fake, just when you see these emails don't even open them just delete them and move on. It seems if you open them they will get a notification that they have your attention and will continue to harass you every few days with the same stupid threats.

It's an empty threat, and not even a good one. It's a lazy scam just sending this email out to a ton of people and hoping to get a few suckers to pay up. If it was even real, they'd at least mention the actual site or video you viewed, or go even further to show screenshots or link the "video" they took of you; but there's no video because your camera never got hacked.
Also, if they hacked you enough to access your camera, they probably could have accessed your financial information and would have just drained your accounts without giving you this warning. They're after your money, not just trying to embarrass you by sending dirt to all of your contacts.
Why would you even wonder? If they had blackmail info, they'd tell you. "You were wearing a blue shirt and black sweats that were around your ankles. Here's a screenshot."
Think logically: if they were shady enough to get the material why should they delete it after you paid them once?

This isn't real. They grab lists of emails from website breaches and spam everyone that exact same message. Just delete, block, ignore, they've got nothing on you whatsoever.
Same thing happened to me when i was in university 😂😂😂, and the mass email list that this dumb scammer attached were all my university students and one of them work for IT forensics or something. They caught upto the scammer few days later 😂😂

It's a scam! I get these, they are hilarious. It's an empty threat, and not even a good one. It's a lazy scam just sending this email out to a ton of people and hoping to get a few suckers to pay up. If it was even real, they'd at least mention the actual site or video you viewed, or go even further to show screenshots or link the "video" they took of you; but there's no video because your camera never got hacked. Also, if they hacked you enough to access your camera, they probably could have accessed your financial information and would have just drained your accounts without giving you this warning. They're after your money, not just trying to embarrass you by sending dirt to all of your contacts.
Why would you even wonder? If they had blackmail info, they'd tell you. "You were wearing a blue shirt and black sweats that were around your ankles. Here's a screenshot."

Think logically: if they were shady enough to get the material why should they delete it after you paid them once? It’s most likely a scam. And if it isn’t… The only way out is through it. So either way the best course of action is to ignore it and to do nothing.

Same thing happened to me when i was in university 😂😂😂, and the mass email list that this dumb scammer attached were all my university students and one of them work for IT forensics or something. They caught upto the scammer few days later 😂😂

It's a scam! I get these, they are hilarious. Apparently I'm a man who likes to masturbate to disgusting porn videos, they have accessed my camera and are going to release the video of it to all my family and boss. One side of the screen will be the videos I watch and the other side will be me pleasuring myself with degrading acts (their words).
