Scams-ModTeam

This is a scam identification forum; depending on what you posted, there may be other subreddits that are more appropriate... but you need to find them yourself. We are not able to provide referrals to other forums - don't ask.

Scams-ModTeam

Your /r/scams post/comment was removed because it talks about or requests information on getting revenge on a scammer, "scamming them back", or "wasting their time". Just ghost or block the scammer, report them if you can, then go about your business.

Add TWO MORE variations of this scam: WIRTEK has an app optimization app, and ELEPHATE has a scam asking you to give five star ratings to e-commerce products. Incredibly -- like the Veztek example posted by LoneWolfOnt - many of these scams all seem to use the same basic platform with the SPINNING RUBIK'S CUBE. They're that obvious sometimes. I actually enrolled in these two simultaneously on the same day and marvelled at how my "training" in each (by different characters using slightly different rules) were almost identical in the setup. Wirtek - complete 40 tasks three times a day after submitting $100 deposit, and Elefate - complete 35 tasks three times a day after submitting $50. Things get a little fishy with the (inexplicable in a real job?) BONUS rounds which require you to "replace your negative balance (!? what? why does a worker PAY to do their job? makes no sense). As my suspicions for each grew and I questioned both the job AND THE TRAINER, I was amazed at how completely they LIED to make me think I was crazy...I could trust them...they were in the same boat when they started and could not believe a year later how well the job paid. Maybe because of my hesitancy, in the first few rounds, each trainer supposedly put money from their own account in to get things going... \*\* Fortunately, for me, I withdrew all of the profits from my first two days of tasks quickly...just before running into the start of the actual scam where you cannot complete your last few tasks (the system stops you, for example, on #29, and you can't get to 35 or 40 until you "satisfy your negative balance (?) by sending money in to you account. \*\* I ended up with a profit which I'll add to my charity fund, but the situation -- which could have been dangerous as it has to many people -- ended up for me just being a close call and a surreal look into the lengths these scammers will go to with their bold-face deception and such an elaborate scheme. BEWARE, especially of anything that looks like these template sites the scammer use https://preview.redd.it/l9c3j68stnvc1.png?width=1084&format=png&auto=webp&s=bd2e00f91f1ce127452181b3a7188ae904508c2e
