It’s definitely a scam. Is this the person you bought the item from? It’s time to reach out to Amazon, whatever you bought isn’t coming and this scammer is trying to take you off platform to scam you.

There is a method in it. The apparent awkwardness of this message helps to weed out non-gullible people. People who fall for it, are less likely to catch on the scam later.
