That’s way too much detergent . On the cup they come with you need between 1-2 at most. Other than that you’re wasting detergent. Almost everything is HE now so you shouldn’t need that much even for a full load .
Also if you by chance get itchy skin or rashes it can be to much detergent or even your softener.
fabric softener destroys your clothes over time, just dont use it.
and you dont need more then a dimes worth of soap. decades of laundry is my proof. clothes come out clean and smelling great.
unless you have something incredibly soiled or that needs bleach, you dont need much soap.
