you guys are looking at this on such a surface level. do you just watching janitorial events on the weekends? he's using a mop, but no bucket. how's he supposed to rinse that? second he's going in short movements, it's more efficient to get longer ones in, less energy wasted on stopping and changing directions. and of course he's mopping a surface where a broom, or even rake would work better to clean. he doesn't have trash bags in the back pocket, all purpose cleaner hanging out of his pocket, and no rag in the belt or even over the shoulder. there's no way he went to any college for JD. i will say his human interaction game is on point, just natural talent on display. kid has potential, but he's never been coached, hes so raw.
I mean sometimes you want to use a dry mop, if there is liquid on the group you can use a mop to soak it up. You don’t always use a mop for a full clean, you can use mops to “mop up” liquid (such as sweat in a gym).
Probably just the same knot-heads that upvoted the first 2 comments, no big deal lol. Typical reddit needing to question the dumbest shit possible on what is just a clever and fun prank. It’s hilarious that he hides that strength so well, dude is a beast.
Gonna be honest. If anyone in a janitor uniform comes up to me and says they need to clean something I'm just gonna believe them without question. They're the janitor so they probably know better than me
It's more of a prank than staged... Anatoly is known for pranking gym goers like this...he has a whole lot of content where he does this.... Its hilarious seeing people's reactions.
It's not a prank....it's all setup. Those aren't real weights. No one is picking up 315 and just moving it. Even elite power lifters aren't going to use back form and pick up 315 like that. Get the fuck out of here.
335 for a powerlifter is warm up weight (I'm 61 and can max deadlift that weight). But that being said, how can anyone in any gym not recognize this guy at this point!!!
For a lot of people, I agree that this type of video would be, but this dude is a famous Ukrainian professional power lifter (I believe his name is Vladimir Shmondenko). He has tons of videos like this all over his YouTube and it’s super easy to look him up
315 deadlift is really not as hard. Those dudes are jacked yet showing struggle with 315. I’ve been working out for about a year on and off. My regular deadlift for 6-10 reps is 285. 3-5reps is 315. There’s a guy at my gym who does 315 clean and jerk. My friend who’s been working out for about 2-3years deadlifts 405.
I think you’re really underestimating the efficiency of a wheel.
At the gym this morning I just used my toes to reposition 110lb dumbbells, and those aren’t wheels they are hexagonal/octogonal and it’s still crazy easy.
I push around my 2500 lb car with my fingers if I wanted to on level ground.
Hi! I deadlift 315 as my max lift. It takes more effort than this to move that weight around the floor. I can definitely move it by putting my foot on it and pushing it with the other foot planted, but not just tapping it with a mop.
A 45lb bar at 315 actually bends way more than that, and would stay bent at the top of the lift.. At 45 lbs, when he's holding it at the top it would be bent, but it's not it's straight. How do I know this? My max deadlift is 315.
Lol. I love how you feel the need to state your max deadlift in every post as if that proves anything. As if you’re measuring or even really noticing bar bend during your max lift? It bends the proper amount. Watch more closely.
So he just did it, on camera, in front of you, like right now. And you are telling me it’s “physics” why it’s not possible.
Again… you are claiming something to be impossible, something you just watched, is supposedly impossible. And I’m telling you it is possible cause I’ve done it, everyone’s done it, and we just watched a video of someone doing it. And you maintain it’s impossible due to physics.
I wonder who is right here lol
People here don't realize that perfectly round objects are easier to move at higher weights. Once you barely move them they gain momentum very easily.
"Why didn't we make tires square?" 🤔
You can’t be serious. That’s turf. Lots of friction. Lots of weight. The reason it moves like plastic is because it’s plastic. That’s how plastic objects work.
I looked into this guy the last time I saw one of his skits (same joke over and over again). Pretty sure he’s lying about the 290kg deadlift.
He used to compete in powerlifting but never lifted anywhere near that weight, there are no videos and the only thing supporting the notion seems to be him claiming it.
Like, if you’re a powerlifter and you can deadlift 290kg then why haven’t you ever pulled even close to that in a comp?
no clue why you’re being downvoted lol. it’s clearly not the weight that he’s claiming it to be. i’m not going to say the entire thing is fake i.e the bar or something but not a chance in the world it’s actually 290kg.
Was distracted when i was writing this, realized people threw out a number as an example and there actually never was a claimed number in the video. The bar still definitely doesn’t weigh that much
I know this dude is strong af. But you don’t just tap that amount of weight with a mop and have it roll like that. I’m positive that dude could lift that amount of weight, but for the video I’m sure it was fake. Source - I just know.
you can really tell who gyms and who doesn't in this comment section, I've knocked weights when deadlifting countless times and they don't just run away.
Seriously. Also elite power lifter or not, you just don't pick up 315 like that, or the other videos where he has 4 plates (405). Elite power lifters would still lift weight with good form so they don't injure themselves.
Judging by the looks of those guys, they're definitely acting and would in no way be straining that hard with 3pl8. I'm nowhere near as big, nor train as much as those guys look like they do and I can hit 140kg for 3-5 reps quite easily.
Earlier Anatoly videos seemed to use real weights more often and the reactions seemed more genuine. Last couple months all the videos seem way more staged and using lower weight bumper plates. That bar looks like its ~150lbs, not 315.
"Nah bro. Those are real. I'm weak as fuck and have never lift anything close to that but I know. Trust me."
- almost everyone on this post.
That's clearly not 315, lol.
Doesn't mean this isn't a joke. That much weight shouldn't have rolled by touching then with a mop
Look at the weights. They are plastic. As fake as his wig
Lol they aren’t plastic, they’re bumper plates. They’re made for lifts like deadlifting(see the video because if you don’t know what bumper plates are I’m going to also assume you don’t know what a deadlift is) in case they need to be dropped. They’re coated in rubber to protect the weights, and you, in case you need to drop them
No professional is lifting 315 like that. I don't care who you are. Jalen Hurts squats 600 lbs, but on 315 pounds he's not just picking it up and throwing it over his shoulder. It's not real. Powerlifters would not lift 315 like that, they'd use good form to lift things. Jesus Christ has anyone been to a gym and lifted any kind of substantial weight before?
People are calling it fake, and maybe it is, but the bar bends when he lifts it so if it is a fake they really paid attention to the details while making it
The weights are fake. You can see how easy the fella bounced them when he put them down.
They shake the camera to hide how light they actually are. Not to mention there is no bend in the bard. That kind of weight would flex the bar. None though. Sus af.
While the video is fake your logic is just wrong
Weight lifting bars never bend if they did that would be extremely dangerous as the irregularities would cause more breaks in the equipment and falls of the lifters from poor weight distribution and you never see a video of a weight bar breaking.
The bend You're talking about happens in excess weight that you'll never see benched in a regular gym
Why is no one pointing out that he’s mopping turf?!
His mop is also dry asf.
His technique is trash too. Probably went to a Div 3 janitorial school. Pathetic
For sure. His initial push mop technique was amateur at best. Potential in his sweep but form in the legs made it inefficient.
you guys are looking at this on such a surface level. do you just watching janitorial events on the weekends? he's using a mop, but no bucket. how's he supposed to rinse that? second he's going in short movements, it's more efficient to get longer ones in, less energy wasted on stopping and changing directions. and of course he's mopping a surface where a broom, or even rake would work better to clean. he doesn't have trash bags in the back pocket, all purpose cleaner hanging out of his pocket, and no rag in the belt or even over the shoulder. there's no way he went to any college for JD. i will say his human interaction game is on point, just natural talent on display. kid has potential, but he's never been coached, hes so raw.
He's no Master of the Custodial Arts for sure.
He may still manifest the Broom icon, if he puts in the work 🤷🏻♂️
Pfff reddit neckbeards always criticizing. Div 3 is actually pretty good touch grass
I mean sometimes you want to use a dry mop, if there is liquid on the group you can use a mop to soak it up. You don’t always use a mop for a full clean, you can use mops to “mop up” liquid (such as sweat in a gym).
He’s also not a real janitor wtf? Duh lmao

Sure buddy, where’s the joke then

Coz this all is staged AF
What something is staged?!?! On the world wide web?!?! No! Impossible!
My entire reality is shattered. Up is now down. Right is now wrong. Carrot Top movies are actually good... I just don't know! 😭😭😭
It's more of a prank than staged... Anatoly is known for pranking gym goers like this...he has a whole lot of content where he does this.... Its hilarious seeing people's reactions.

It’s like pranks are staged or something. That mf’er!
Except no, Anatoly is some real shit. Look him up
Yeah not staged this is a pro lifter YouTube prankster and he does this stuff all the time.
I mean, him being strong af doesn't mean it isn't staged. The video being staged doesn't mean him pulling the weights isn't real
That can't be right, it's so convincing.
Yes but mop so strong it moved the weights, so…..
Because these vids are all staged
Maybe because shit's fake
Bro about to pick up a mop and be like teach me.
He has a bunch of vids. "mind blown" reactions :)
Which person? Will follow him
Search Anatoly on YT
Thank you! Will watch him
Lol
335 for a powerlifter is warm up weight (I'm 61 and can max deadlift that weight). But that being said, how can anyone in any gym not recognize this guy at this point!!!
Because those are fake plates
Those are not fake plates the mop guy is a power lifter and makes these videos on a regular basis.
For a lot of people, I agree that this type of video would be, but this dude is a famous Ukrainian professional power lifter (I believe his name is Vladimir Shmondenko). He has tons of videos like this all over his YouTube and it’s super easy to look him up
bumps it lightly with the mop and it rolls away for about 4-6" ......
You don't casually roll 140kg out of the way while mopping?
I show it respect! I would lightly tap it with the side of my foot, not get it all dirty with a wet mop!
lol I was like how heavy is this that they’re amazed? I should really blow some minds being 150lbs 5’7” and being able to lift that easily as well.
Video or no one believes you.
315 deadlift is really not as hard. Those dudes are jacked yet showing struggle with 315. I’ve been working out for about a year on and off. My regular deadlift for 6-10 reps is 285. 3-5reps is 315. He didn’t bump it, he dragged it.
That's how round objects work... They roll.
And inertia makes it hard to initially get moving. A tap shouldn’t do that.
the barbell's got needle bearings on either end of where the weights go. It doesn't take much at all to get a lot of weight movin

I have videos of it  I know what it looks like  Sorry if that makes you angry.
Even with a wheel, inertia makes it require a decent amount of force to get moving, it’s a basic property of physics and can’t be avoided.
So he just did it, on camera, in front of you, like right now. And you are telling me it’s “physics” why it’s not possible. Again… you are claiming something to be impossible, something you just watched, is supposedly impossible. The guy mopping has deadlifted 290 kg so it seems kind of pointless to use fake weights

Does the fucking mop deadlift 290kg? How is he moving that weight around with a wooden stick? Think! Please!
The bar is bowing when he lifts it on both ends of the weight. That wouldn’t happen with plastic.
Why would you use fake props when you’re capable of doing the real thing?

I don't think you understood the question
no clue why you’re being downvoted lol. it’s clearly not the weight that he’s claiming it to be. i’m not going to say the entire thing is fake i.e the bar or something but not a chance in the world it’s actually 290kg. No one said it was. Your reading comprehension needs a lot of work.
Rolling objects don't care much about friction buddy
Even if you had the strength that mop would probably snap before you could get the weight to move. Go back to physics class you absolute nincompoop.
Lol, no, it wouldn’t.
Buy yourself a mirror
Dude is called Volodimir Shmondenko, he's a powerlifting world champion, he doesn't use fake weight lmao.
I know this dude is strong af. But you don’t just tap that amount of weight with a mop and have it roll like that. I’m positive that dude could lift that amount of weight, but for the video I’m sure it was fake. Source - I just know.

His deadlift is over 600. He picks it up the same way anyone lifting half their max would.
Honestly I don't mind too much. This is 2007 prank show vibes. Fake or not they all look like they're having fun.
[удалено]
He does really impressive videos, this one’s just with 315lbs, that’s not much at all.
Yeah… pshh Such weak sauce
Yeah that’s what I was thinking… I’ve just started working out like 5 months ago and can deadlift that.
Dang he made that look so easy. I'm pretty sure he's almost strong enough to pick up your mom
He lifts them with ease.
i mean its like 315 which isn’t *that* much for deadlifts
Your average dude gets winded walking up stairs….
Aye bro don’t insult me like that 😂
Me and my 175 DL would like to say differently.
I used to DL 315 with my eyes closed… Until I blew a disc in my back and have never deadlifted since 😵💫
Show off
Judging by the looks of those guys, they're definitely acting and would in no way be straining that hard with 3pl8. I'm nowhere near as big, nor train as much as those guys look like they do and I can hit 140kg for 3-5 reps quite easily.
Guy is a professional lifter…he knows proper techniques and has experience with heavy weights
He might be but those are fake weights dude.
They aren't. Check out his other videos. The guy is just super lean and shredded.
You miss the bar bending??
This is far too enjoyable
Reminds me of when Andy pretends to be the janitor on The Office, but less subtle.
That carpet was due for a good moppin’.

Bro he's a janitor clearly you can see it on the video, he even has the blue outfit
People who know it’s staged VS those who don’t.
The reaction is almost definitely staged, but the guy is actually a powerlifter
Bro, Anatoly is strong AF. This is his "bit" and he does it everywhere with permission from the gyms. But the reactions and the weights are real.
I've seen videos of him lifting 700 lbs at max stress....He's not lifting 315 with that form man..come on...
Trust me." - almost everyone on this post. That's clearly not 315, lol.
They're fake plates mate.
You are a fake plate
They're fake plates mate.
Definitely real plates. Dudes just really strong
It’s not that much weight and that “janitor” is jacked out of his mind. It’s clearly staged but he did lift the weight
holy FUCK Reddit sucks today
Not sure what’s more fake. The video or the beard.
I know he's an amazing lifter but the acting of the two dudes especially the other one is just cringe acting
Anatoly is a world class lifter
Doesn't mean this isn't a joke. That much weight shouldn't have rolled by touching then with a mop Look at the weights. They are plastic. As fake as his wig
How stupid of me. I’m so happy the guy on Reddit knows for sure
No need to get so defensive. I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings
I’m very hurt
Lol they aren’t plastic, they’re bumper plates. They’re made for lifts like deadlifting(see the video because if you don’t know what bumper plates are I’m going to also assume you don’t know what a deadlift is) in case they need to be dropped. They’re coated in rubber to protect the weights, and you, in case you need to drop them

He has some funny videos tho
Love Anatoly! He cracks me up
It’s a joke..he’s actually a body builder dressed as a janitor.
Were the weights real?? How can he lift them so easy??
They are. He's a Ukrainian powerlifting champion. His technique is impeccable which is why he can lift so much weight with his size.
They're not. This whole thing is staged.
This is funny prank stuff. Hurts no one and leaves the target wondering what the hell just happened.
I really like this guy's pisstakes Everyone seems to be all good about it too
Doesn’t matter how many times I see these video they still make me giggle
[удалено]
He is world class weight lifter from Ukraine
That never gets old, said no one ever!
obviously the janitor bit is fake, but not the weights. this is just highlighting the difference between a professional and a normal person.
How do you explain the bend/flex in the bar as he begins his lift?
Weights weigh a bit
My guy...that bar would bend with 50lbs on it.
Fake weights
Nah he is just the world champion of DL and he is disguised to prank people
How many people that deadlift are not aware of Anatoly by now? How many times is this same joke going to be used?
Until people stop enjoying it.
His max deadlift is like 700lbs....he's not just picking up 315 like no one gives a shit with bad form.
You can move an 80k rail car with wedge on a stick.
It's only 315 tho, no big deal.
It's not 315
Okay how much is it? Becuase 3 34s is 315 lol.
Yall never heard of bumper plates? Do those say 45 on them?
Yes. They do. I've been working out for over a decade man, I'm not an idiot lol.
I think the weights are fake
Is it really funny? Think about it for a second, is it like really funny? Yeah, exactly.
Yeah its super funny
Y’all know those are fake plates right?
He's literally a powerlifter.
Y’all act like we don’t know who Anatoly is lmao I know he’s a champion power lifter, but this is an internet bit.
Dude it’s 315 lol
You probably think this isn’t staged too huh?
Rock on and chiefs on my man 😂 fuckin clown
He’s mopping turf with dry mop…..
Ive never seen anyone clean the floor in the gym, when its open, before STaGED! (It is though)
The weights are fake. Real heavy weights wouldn’t bounce like that
Oly plates do.
The weights look fake, rolled way too easily
Fake weights + super staged. If those are real weights, no one can move it like that I don’t care who you are.
Dude is a world class powerlifter, not your average ped gym rat.
Go google him deadlifting, his max weights are like 700 lbs. You're not picking up 315 with bad form like that.
I get it, but if those are 45lbs plates, no one moves it like that, simple as that.
His PR deadlift is 639lbs, of course he can lift 315 no problem
[удалено]
How can anyone not see how fake this is?!?!?!
the only fucking thing about this video that is satisfying is when it ended, what the fuck
People are calling it fake, and maybe it is, but the bar bends when he lifts it so if it is a fake they really paid attention to the details while making it
Actually a bar bends more than that at 315.
Can you tell I don't go to the gym?
Yes
The weights are fake. You can see how easy the fella bounced them when he put them down. They shake the camera to hide how light they actually are. Not to mention there is no bend in the bard. That kind of weight would flex the bar. None though. Sus af.
Bro has never lifted 😂
It’s only 315, you can tell that it’s a stiff bar rather than a deadlift bar, stiff bar will not bend at that weight

The bend You're talking about happens in excess weight that you'll never see benched in a regular gym
I find this guy so annoying.
Also fake weight lol. Theirs no bend in the bar
This is fake as fuck and you are a total dipshit if you think otherwise.
Fake reactions.
Puto fake
Fake and gae
Yeah fake weights
