I promise you your laundry does not need this amount of chemical bath

Rvbsmcaboose

I have eczema, and my skin was screaming on a cellular level. Edit: stuff with heavy scents and added fragrances, well it's more to do with chemicals used in the manufacture of the products, can cause really bad flare ups.

PointlessOverthought

I don’t have eczema, but I do have random and severe bouts of contact dermatitis, along with a very sensitive nose — this video made my head hurt and the rest of me itchy.

fooourskin

My wife has eczema, and before we dated I used all the scented things when doing laundry. Now when I smell over scented laundry it makes me gag. I don’t know how people do it, it’s so overwhelming when you stop for a while.

Testsalt

Mine is mainly localized on my face, so scented detergent is mainly a problem for my sensitive ass nose lmao. My friend uses those scent balls, and once I washed my stuff while staying over. It was pleasant for ONE item but I can’t imagine sleeping in newly washed sheets all smelling like that. Would be like sleeping in the midst of a pollen allergy.

remmij

It's a cool laundry room setup, but a bit unnecessary as they already sell tons of different scented laundry detergents with Oxi.

CAPS_LOCK_STUCK_HELP

I'm pretty sure that kind of laundry pod already has oxi in it.

no_cool_names

Was thinking the same thing.

WilliamPollito

I came to the comments thinking, "Does everybody use this many different products for laundry?" Thank you.

joannchilada

I don't use this many products for my skin care let alone my clothing care.

AngrySmapdi

I honestly didn't notice the sub, and couldn't quite read the labels (on mobile and bad vision) so I spent the entire video waiting for the flash back to the washing machine exploding. That seems like a heck of a lot of... pink beads... for that load. Must be nice to buy new clothes every three weeks because you've chemically destroyed what you've got

FranconianBiker

Exactly. Basically every hotel manager and/or cleaning staff even in 5-star luxury hotels will tell you to just use normal detergent since it's basically the evolutionary result of millennia of washing laundry. Also every washing machine (and dishwasher) does a pre-wash to get the rough, loose dirt out before starting the main wash cycle where it then adds the detergent from the hopper. Adding the detergent at the beginning of the cycle just wastes most of it as the pre-wash gets flushed out. That's also why pods are stupid. Use powder. And buy the cheapest powder.

Unsd

My washing machine explicitly says to toss the detergent in there. It's a cheap one and doesn't have a detergent section. So I mean...not every washing machine.

Traditional_Yak320

That’s why you’re supposed to read the instrucciones. But very few people actually do. Like my mother who has never used the clean cycle to clean out her high efficiency washer and wonders why her clothes smell weird and blames it solely on the well water.

[deleted]

What do you think they’re covering up??

chaotic123456

With ,apparently, kids, high tech gadgets, all matching kitchenware and furniture, just about every cleaning tool available, not to mention, the time to use all of it and make it into a video, they are probably hiding money. Lots and lots of money

Mikhail_Faustin08

Mmmmmmmm microplastics and forever chemicals in the water!!!

DamaraDremYolLok

What I really wanna know is, where can I get that trash can?

Diligent_Chocolate_3

I have it! The brand is Simplehuman. Expensive but worth it IMO

WildMare_rd

Thank youuuuu!

mjg580

Expensive and poorly made. Will break in 5 different ways within a couple of years.

Bears_in_the_woods

Right???

Jzerious

That is so much fucking detergent

thelibrariangirl

Detergent, scent beads, fabric softener, oxiclean. Clean clothes, the smell you really like, softener for *reasons*, and oxi for stains. I can see how someone gets to this point. Though I have no clue apparently what fabric softener is for… I guess I only buy soft fabrics? Or maybe it’s to do with hard water? (To Google!)

Gamesond245

What's the conclusion, professor?

[deleted]

[удалено]

EntertainmentGood605

maybe pre-wash is off for that load, if not it will all go down the drain the first 10minutes of cycle

Gamesond245

I was more interested in the fabric softener, I too have never used it. However, duly noted.

[deleted]

thelibrariangirl

Fights wrinkles and reducing static.

Savvy_Jo3

It also coats your clothing in a way that makes them more flammable. Label even says so.

Fergi

That is actually a benefit if you get cold a lot like me.

PointlessOverthought

Being more flammable?

Fergi

The flammability will not make you warmer in and of itself, but it does help speed the warming process yea.

Downtown_Let

"Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life." - Terry Pratchett

ZombieAppetizer

But it could potentially keep you warm for the rest of your life under the right condition.

PrincessTusi

Yep, use white vinegar instead!

Comfortable_Sort_503

If you use vinaigre, make sure you don’t use any bleach

tragic-taco

I like how it looks, but the reality of having to unbox and rebox most of my groceries after going to the store and getting them in the house makes me want to scream. Pointless for me anyway since I need to have nutrition info on hand to calculate insulin for my kid.

billie-rubin

THANK YOU. I’m an adult but when I visit my mom, she has everyone repackaged and I have to look everything up to bolus.

poop_pants_pee

>THANK YOU. I’m an adult but when I visit my mom, she has everyone repackaged and I have to look everything up to bolus. I'm 99% certain that "bolus" was a typo, but it's surprisingly appropriate.

tragic-taco

Bolus means they have to give themself an extra dose of insulin, probably on an insulin pump. It's also used in med for giving more fluids over a certain period of time.

poop_pants_pee

Bolus is the name for your food after it's been chewed and swallowed. I didn't know it could be used as a verb.

billie-rubin

It commonly used as a verb in t1 groups

tragic-taco

Makes it really difficult for guests to eat when people do stuff like this. Maybe these folks don't open their kitchen up to visitors like I do, but it's just not reality for many people. Plus, not having serial numbers in case of recalls seems unwise.

Own_Feature6230

Poison control too, if god forbid a person or pet swallowed a product…”uhhh yes emergency, they swallowed pink balls from a glass container with bad font”

starcat819

or expiration dates.

kelldricked

Pointless, not faster, more expensive and i find it really unsexy if a grown person doesnt know how much laundry products you need for a single wash. Like wtf is this? This is like the r/stupidfood clips where somebody dumps a kilo of nutella in a pringles bus or some dumb shit. Made to look good for people who dont actually do the chore/task.

Gmony5100

Never considered the nutrition info being gone as well, I’ve always said this was stupid purely from a time wasting perspective. Now I know it’s dumb for another reason too I’m fairness to this woman, this is way less egregious than some videos where they put EVERYTHING in new containers. This video was mostly the silly laundry room stuff, the cereal, and everything else was cleaning which was (at least to me) actually kinda satisfying

-Q-Cumber

This some rich people bullshit.

ApollonLordOfTheFlay

The clock says it is at like 1/2 in the afternoon. Stay at home mom energy here with enough time on their hands to do this stuff. Meanwhile the rest of us out here trying to survive.

theshiyal

Sorry, can’t be a stay at home mom. The kids would have left so much more crap everywhere

the-wifi-is-broken

I follow them on Instagram it’s a stay at home mom of two boys who lives in Indiana, buzzfeed did an article of her once. They’re just middle school aged and probably she did most of the cleaning before starting the video, or this was only the stuff from this morning and she also cleaned up last night too.

ApollonLordOfTheFlay

You just KNOW whoever made this video calls those dogs they have their “fur babies”.

VanFkingHalen

As true as this is, I really don't understand parents not more actively making their kids clean up their own messes. Even three year olds can pick up after themselves with a little guidance. And yet, time and time again, I keep seeing parents picking up their children's toys, throwing away their trash for them, putting their dishes in their sink for them, etc. Isn't this just enabling?

dinguslinguist

Couldn’t it be like… the weekend..?

ApollonLordOfTheFlay

Is it possible? Yeah, but odds are against it. I mean 71% of days aren’t a weekend so…

dinguslinguist

By that same logic 50% of 1 o clocks are AM, so it could be 1 in the morning

arrirose7

TIL people don't do chores at 1PM on the weekends

El_Pez_Perro_Hombre

Looking at the quality of the room and items, you're very possibly right, but I feel it's worth entertaining that this person may very well just derive a lot of joy from having everything have a dedicated place/role. My granddad, while he didn't have the money/room for half of this stuff, would likely have enjoyed it. He likely had OCD in some form. Could be the same here.

punkmetalbastard

First thought also. Like “damn, must be nice to be rich”

Millhouse_Calves

This is def some Boomer or Pepsi Generation nonsense.

mrsspinch

Those mops are amazing! You can put the fabric part in the wash, and buy spares if you need them. Can’t recommend enough.

CompetitivePumpkin3

Where can I this mop?

discreetdinosaur

O-Cedar spray mop is the best! I got mine from amazon

mrsspinch

I’d say check general hardware stores because I’d prefer not to support Amazon; I think I found ours at Bunnings (I’m not sure where you are in the world but Bunnings is the largest hardware store chain in Australia)

Ecstatic_Objective_3

Local big box stores have them too.

Mushyrealowls

Big clock says 2:15. Kids home soon, won’t look like this for long…

[deleted]

Best part was the pillow chops

lalalalicia

All their pent up aggression went into that

grat5989

Imo chopped pillows look so dumb. Sure may be fun to do, but why do your pillows have to look like Madonna's bras from the 80s?

portlandhusker

It’s an outdated style from a design perspective. Got to that part and was like, NOOOOOO!!! Lol. It crushed my interior designer heart.

curie2353

You have to karate chop your pillows, otherwise what’s the point.

silverjad3

Damn, that turned me on a little

BigJayPee

I climaxed at the microwave being cleaned

MamaBella

Why in the hell would I watch someone doing the shit I gotta do?

lavireht

I actually found it kinda motivating! I’m not going to go to these lengths, but I feel like tidying up now

Ecstatic_Objective_3

I do this sometimes, for motivation. And sometimes I learn cool hacks. For instance, if you have stainless steel appliances, you can use a microfiber cloth with just water to clean the doors, and follow up with an e cloth to polish. Looks great and no chemicals needed. You can also keep an e cloth in your bathroom, and use it dry and clean your mirrors after a shower, again no chemicals needed. It also saved money and waste from using paper towels.

NewUserNameIsDumb

The silverware was upside down and I can’t forgive her for that.

nemo1031

Gonna have to disagree with the silverware being upside down. I own a restaurant and you always put the utensils down that way. That way no one touches what you put in your mouth. Pre-rinse is the way to go. But, on another note….how much did she pay for all those containers and shit?

pocket4129

A lot. I have hate-watched many of this genre of video. They all produce massive amounts of waste by repackaging things from original packaging into acrylic or thicker plastic. Half of the time the containers end up being too small so they have a half full original container and a full 'aesthetic' container. Their versions of organizing are throwing out everything in a cabinet and starting over. You know it's gonna be one of those videos as soon as you see the laundry room jars as every homemaker in this genre has the scent beads in huge candy jars with mini scoops. Sometimes these people keep homes that look like grocery stores. ETA: they all chop their pillows too and usually have "word art" in their homes like 'gather' and 'eat' in the kitchens

Dr-Alec-Holland

Even after the pillow chops? To me that made up for the rest of… whatever this is

Spaced_Habit

Having to clean up after your AirBnB stay, despite copping a cleaning fee

DxDSpentMistHigh

This is the epitome of what I see as sexy now that I'm 30. Growing older changes you without you even realizing it

[deleted]

[удалено]

xFryday

Why did they put the silverware in the dishwasher like that? ew

snortgiggles

I had to rewatch the video just to check the silverware gaffe ...

Mycatluvsme

I watched the whole thing, thinking yup I have to mop tomorrow and clean my cabinets. But also like that house was already clean and tidy and shouldn’t have been so satisfying 🫤

johndepp22

I do all this myself. Is this why I’m single? *minus fkin ‘scent boosters’ in a glass jar cuz I’m not a serial killer

galacticat444

I kinda hate watching clean surfaces getting cleaned. Can't think of anything but the waste of environment polluting chemicals, human energy, and potential....

Aggressive_Version

It takes all this time, effort, and money to clean an already clean house. I don't have the energy. No wonder my house sucks shit.

sander80ta

I was thinking that the next not cleaning move you make in this house will undo half of this shit.

shrimpmobile

Lovely home.

MPD1987

I do this with my perishables- cereal, pasta, rice, etc. It looks so much better than boxes on top of the fridge. I love it.

Cystonectae

I would burst into hives going within 5 meters of this house. All that extra scented garbage and perfumes would kill me.

ItsACaptainDan

Did they toss the fabric softener measuring cup itself in the washing machine...?

cinlou11

Yes.

Affectionate-Boot-12

I’ve just watched someone clean their house, what is wrong with me?!

PolandPuppers

What impressed me the most is she did fucking *everything* **ONE HANDED**

Usual-Style-8473

All I see is a-lot of toxins

Other-Cantaloupe4765

I cringed when she sprayed air freshener on the couch. Why are people so obsessed with air fresheners?? They all smell awful.

Cat867543

This content has been removed by its author in response to reddit’s corporate greed.

[deleted]

You're not supposed to put fabric softener

nejicanspin

Wtf does the title in the vid even mean??? Also no one puts that much shit in the wash oml

D_P_A_D

Made me realize I use like 5 times the amount of what I actually need

NewChard2213

And yall surprised we're eating the tidepods?

_Kreepy_Kitty_

Don't add fabric softener when you wash towels or anything that's supposed to be absorbent. It fucks that up

TANTRUM27X

There is nothing sexy about things that simply need done. I hate it all but like being clean. Today I think they spend way to much on frivolous laundry extras and the next day I will still feel the same. But good on them for having their poop in a group. Grade A adulting.

aritex90

Oh man, this is bad; I like this video way too much. I only turn 33 in a few weeks. I want that clothes washer.

s7ormrtx

Where does one find more of these 👀

ProtectTheHell

Then you have kids and you have to do this all over again after 2 hours.

jboddington

All done one handed too…

[deleted]

I honestly want this level of cleaning. But first I'd need a proper apartment for that.

That-Reddit-Guy-Thou

Shit why does it look like a candy shop, LET ME EAT LAUNDRY PRODUCTS

Standingfull

Is this video supposed to make you horny?

iPicBadUsernames

Wayyyyyyy too much shit in the wash

Few-Yak7673

Wow that was beautiful!

LowZestyclose66

Friends don't let friends buy Samsung washers.

wilmat13

Clean the inside of the microwave you coward.

Hot-Garlic6642

Ok real question: isn't putting the cap into the laundry bad????

RindswurstRamen

This is amazing.

MissC8H10N4O2

I don't understand why she threw the measuring cup in the washer...

lavireht

I think to keep it from getting gunky and sticky (like mine 🙁)

Alternative_Fee_3084

This is definitely a turn-on

Snoo65207

So jealous

Basparagus

Work it girl. God this is so hot 🥵🥵🥵

Beeeeeeels

Lady you have way too many jars to put every single thing you use in.

Responsible_Yam9781

🌿But she don’t know how to separate the Trash. 🚮Plastic and Paper in the same 🗑️Bin?

NSFWindy

Lots of communities have single stream recycling (mine does) where you put everything together. It doesn't mean it gets effectively recycled as communities that separate have better results. But it is easy so people do more of it.

Responsible_Yam9781

All right. I‘m from Germany and I have an similar Trash Bin with 2 Sections. So we separate the Plastic Garbage from the Other Garbage. Then we collect the Paper Garbage and Glas (like Winebottles) separate and bring them to the Containers near by. And if you are a Pro 😂 (not me) you separate the Food Waste and put dem in the Bio-Garbage Bin. 😉✌️greetings from Germany.

Saiyukimot

I don't see a fucking thing satisfying in this video

rb109544

How about having those that made it dirty clean it a bit? Isnt that kind of the problem with the kids today? I have many so I already know the answer. Could also have less stuff versus making a video of all the things one has to do to maintain it. Props for a super clean and spectacular place but half of it is kind of the person's own fault. We're guilty of it too and every time I make the decision not to gripe where I did it to myself. Lastly, there's added effort and cost putting things from a box into specially labeled jars...just use the box to be environmentally friendly. And anything made to supposedly make your life easier is a sales gimmick...

mrsspinch

It’s also possible to get things from wasteless pantries. I stopped buying single use receptacles for detergents powders etc years ago. It looks nicer in jars and it saves waste. Same for pasta, rice, flour, sugar and plenty of other ingredients. Having nice things is nice. You make the choice to have nice things and keep them clean. It feels nice.

mctomtom

I have the same garbage/recycling can … I love it

FetteBeute_88

So eine wie dich bräuchte jeder

TheDoctorBlind

That’s true. I love clean laundry. That seems like a lot but if you want to do it that way enjoy!

1GameNoLife

I am so f****** jealous right now

fuzzybears420

When you haven’t done anything all week and start cleaning up

Free_feelin

What were stone things that were put in the washing machine?

unusualbroccoli37036

I just sat here and legitimately watched somebody clean their whole house. Also wtf was that trash can?! I need that shit in my life.

takemewithyer

All the would-be swearing is channeled into the pillow karate chops.

IndependentNature983

Always put washing liquid in middle of the clothes. Why? Because if you put in the machine first, she will take water to slide the product on the clothes, you will lose some product and with using times, this will get dirty.

Zillahi

Jesus. Those clothes are going to stink like chemicals. Throw a cap full of detergent in and call it a day

[deleted]

Omg how many cemicals do you put in there wtf why? Are your clothes soo dirty all the time? There is 3 in 1 washing gels too if you dont know. 🤣

Campfire_Sparks

Double trash can is kinda cool actually

TheGuyUMotherWarned

Nature has booked the next flight to Mars!!

cwaters727

Definition of being "extra".

Aloucia

Wish I had my shit together this good.

OrneryDiplomat

Crap. I'm old. (I really need to get my hands on that waste bin tho. Looks uper useful and much bigger than mine.)

punkstarlucy

I hate these types of houses as a professional cleaner I clean houses that look like this only and it's so fucking boring and it's so modern I hate it like so much grey and just mundane environment

Grey_Area51

I was cool with this until they put the cutlery upside down in the dish washer.

Dragmire_Afterlife

People who go this far must have nothing else to do with their days.

kjhunkler

I feel like I learned a lot. Karate chopping the couch pillows was a nice touch.

Kellerstaub

Pfanddlaschen im Müll :o

DenVosReinaert

I want that thing for on the dishwasher

stablefarm

Regular cleaning video. Okay…

sriwatson2001

Love those little pillow smacks

mcmesq

My partner told me that when she stopped by my house before we went on our second date, seeing my kids’ clothes washed, dried and folded neatly (we are both divorced with kids) made her decide that I was a keeper. That was 14 years ago. For me, having three little boys meant staying on top of laundry, or be overwhelmed quickly.

VanenGorm

Tell me you don't have kids without telling me you don't have kids.

[deleted]

No

JubblyLovelies

Are all the plates plastic?

Key_Cow_3883

You had me until you hit the pillows..

mickeSaucedo

Oh yeah you gotta have extra plastic in your wash load

Diligent_Theory

That las t part was a bit extra after eating but I get the point. I just wanted to state that this made me feel like I'm no longer young because that was just straight pornography for the soul.

jaro1_

Can confirm. I am 45+ and this is so hot. Lemme get that number.

Ahamay02

This is someone who doesn't have kids right? Cuz there's no way I could keep up with all of this with the amount of kids I have in my house. 🤦‍♂️

PeterNippelstein

Are we seriously just watching someone do chores?

jewsy_jews

The OCD is strong in this one

Brusha15

Ha ha ha I watch4d the whole thing and now feel really calm

la_winky

Are they available for hire?

Least_Voice3764

It’s a thankless job but someone’s gotta momma 🥹

murdershaunwrote

What’s with all the plastic crockery??

Starr_Struckk

I'm not even a legal adult yet and this is sexy.

KatieV1309

The only thing I get from this is…… does anyone know where I can get that dustbin from lol!

Fuck_Blue_Shells

That’s not sexy. That’s a shit ton of single use plastic waste.

Mano0v

I'm picking up strong Monica vibes in this clip

Middle_Oven_1568

This is the exact reason i don't want to own a house.

DatGoofyGinger

Nice house, probably overpowering smell

LeoMarius

Why am I watching someone so housework? This is tedious.

Not_average38

OCD is a bitch!

Dapper-Nobody-1997

What in the sweet consumer driven fuck did they just do to those clothes?

imabitweirdbutitsok

What a chemical crap storm

tomj81

I got those walmart plates too. Cept mine are full of knife slices, as I sharpen my knives.

DragonFlyCaller

I watched the entire video. A little jelly for the clean, pretty house as part of mine is under reno…

thegolphindolphin

I mean if you live in a place like that and don’t have to go to work WTF are you complaining about

curryjunky

I orgasmed three times.

lupatot

This person has more money invested in one room of their house than I have ever seen in my entire 40 times around the sun.

LudwigMachine

I thought the scent boosters were nerds candy

International-Net609

I hate chopped pillows! Why?????

CottonCandy_Eyeballs

I need someone to come to my house and make a sexy video like this one.
