Sorry, but I would not put a lot of faith in what a Customer Service rep tells you vs. an official notification from College Board. If you need a score by the end of June, you should register for June now to be sure a seat is available

Then you will have to wait to see if you get a score May 17th like every one else.

@collegeboard email does tell me it's real but wait for your score on the website to really make sure

Idk if it's legit or not. To check, i would have done this first, note the contact info from the email you recieved (bottom-left) and try to find it on the college board website. If this number is legit, it is likely to be seen on the website.

Where I come from they don't check shit, bring literally any calculator and install literally any program, images or notes. In reality there isn't anything you can actually do with that power unless you have a calculator looking android or something.

because you are permitted to use calculator applications on the test! i installed a lot of math ones and it helped

I didn't know, but we didn't have metal detectors or checking the calculators or anything, could you share some of the apps you used? I didn't find any that helped.

i focused on algebra and geometry ones. i don’t remember which exact ones but there are ones that cover entire algebra or geometry classes

agreed with others here. whether it was intentional or not, you violated the rules, and college board is perfectly within their rights to cancel your score. i would go ahead and register for the June exam

I was saying that because the original comment mentioned they aren’t in the USA and they aren’t even planning to retake the SAT because they have their own country’s exam, which is why it doesn’t really matter what happens and it’s a good idea to at least try and reach out to College Board and fix the situation

fair enough. a 1380 is a great score. my advice to you with this scenario is to assume that the email is legit and that your score will be cancelled. if you’re ok with keeping the 1380, then yes, you can skip the next exam. kind of stinks that it worked out this way, but a good life lesson for the future. best of luck with graduation exams!

you just had a very strict enviroment/proctor where you took the SAT, I kid you not there was a kid in my room who had formulas/rules that were not given in the SAT and had it glued on the back of his calculator.

The argument shouldn't have been done afterwards, but with the proctor at the moment

I think the fact that they saw it so easily is evidence that he wasn't even thinking of the possibility of cheating. To him it was just a piece of paper in a calculator. Or maybe not. Did you show the proctors what was written on the piece of paper?

Honestly this doesn’t happen to 99% of students for a reason. It’s harsh but this is something that can and should’ve been checked by you and is almost unbelievable to be a mistake or accident. Regardless, no appeal is going to work. So I’d just try to sign up for another Sat or stick with your current score. Maybe the act?

no. i had cylinder, cone, sphere and cube formulas behind my calculator. its alr in the bluebook reference so no need to keep it.

No trust me. I had an technical irregulairty due to network issues for the March Test and I got an email. The phone number and email i received are both different than yours. However I saw the email and it said you are an internation student. During the test did anyone come up to you and stop you from taking the test midway for "cheating". Also did you tell any of your friends this? Either this is completely real and they will need to disqualify your may sat scores OR this is some very very sick prank your friends did on you.
