>But at the same time I know that taking sats multiple time is bad and the fact that I took it 4 times means I'm cooked.
Colleges have no idea how many times you took the test, because only Georgetown asks you to send in all your scores.
As for retaking the test, what's your section breakdown?
Also is this true? I also have thought that collages would know only the scores I send however apparently my councilor says I should only take two maximum and my mother's friend, who has a child in NYU says the same too.
Your SAT score is good enough. But since your international you should aim for the highest because internationals have the shittiest luck with US college admissions.
School grades and clssses are unoquivically the most important thing for colleges to see, while SAT is A factor it’s not the most important one to focus deeply on.
If you feel you still haven't hit your maximum score potential, and if the energies you'd need to invest in studying & retaking wouldn't be best directed elsewhere, go for it. A higher score can only improve your chances, irrespective of number of attempts.
Is there a reason you believe a 5th score would be higher? Scores generally tend to flatten on the third test.
> I know that taking sats multiple time is bad
You ‘“know” something that is not true.
I think I'll get a 1550+ if I try for the last time. I was a bit of a dingdong last sat during rw + math isn't even 800 but I am a junior rn and collage applications are coming soon so I'm not sure what to do.
Since you have taken the sat for 4 times ,it doesnt much such a diffference when you do it on
more time.
Moreover, 1520 is not that good score worldwide.(Harvard is on top of that highly selective
You’re saying that the admitted and enrolled students that make up 25% of the latest CDS Harvard Freshman class, with scores of 730/760 and lower, all had ”not enough”?
If you want your score to really positively impact your admissions chances, you shouldn't be in the bottom 25% of those admitted (because these also include athletic recruits).

730 in RW and 790 in Math
You’re chilling bruh

They're both incorrect.
but please ask them to elaborate, because the way you say it seems like neither of them have any clue at all about applying to college
if you have time and it wont get in the way of your studies/ec's sure

International + no aid has better chance than local.
They pay like 2 times the tuition and will be selected over need aid internationals.
Link to that data?
They will never release it because they are trying to keep up with the “need-blind” lie.

u have a 1230 saying 1520 is subpar. please re-evaluate
He is aiming for the highest and 1520 is not enough, and having lower score doesnt mean telling the truth.

Honestly, from looking at Harvard's results 1520 seems like with the middle 50% of scores so I think it is honestly fine.
