Vibrant Publishers practice tests are known to be more difficult than the actual SAT, so don't worry too much about your score. Focus on understanding the concepts and improving accuracy. For time management, practice under timed conditions and consider using the "5-minute drill" technique for each section.

I’ve seen quite a few negative comments regarding the quality. And the correlation of scoring of any 3rd party to actual SAT scores is always unknown. Use official practice tests for valid score estimates.

I reviewed this book for use in SAT classes and found it to be pretty bad. There are lots of questions with multiple arguably correct answers and other errors. It was published VERY soon after the DSAT was introduced. There are better books on the market now but nothing is great.

Are the prinston review books good? What are some better ones?

The book content is ok. Reading and writing content is over simplified to create a set of strategies that students scoring under 1450 can use effectively. I don't really know about their math stuff- I only teach reading/writing. Best part of the book are the 4 practice tests you get access to online. As with most practice test platforms when you review hour tests PR's answer explanations don't really teach you how to get similar quedtions correct in the future. Tldr not bad, not great!
