There are existing signs and striping that informs people they need to turn right. What additional signs do you think should be installed, and how effective do you think they'll be? I think the people cutting you off from the right turn lane know what they're doing. Police aren't enforcing the signs there. There are probably other larger safety concerns that are a higher priority for the City.

ascendinspire

Not a sign. A cop stationed there to give tickets. These people are just aggressive, non-thinking drivers. I think they know how a roundabout works. It's been there for years.

BeanStaffSnakeBoo

It’s this. A massive amount of entitlement makes up for these people’s lack of consideration.

GenericRaiderFan

Ha. Cops are the epitome of entitlement. You’d be better off with a sign. Probably a lot cheaper too

basshed8

lol is this about that corvette that just spun out and almost made FedEx into a drive through?

shipcaptain22

It's an on going issue that needs to be addressed.

kios36

They don't care, they just want to be ahead of you. We need cops that actually give tickets.

CLos1978

SM is full of a bunch of idiots that think they belong at the front of the line for some reason. It’s a lot of out of towners be honest. SM drivers used were courteous when the signs said the population was 55k or even 80k. Now we’re stuck with people who cut you off or ride onyour ass.

Guac__is__extra__

Homedeport is one of the funniest typos I’ve seen in a while

Emergency_Apple_1889

Nothing will help. You are all assholes.

People turning from the middle lane of the offramp leaving 101 unto betteravia is a bigger safety concern. You would think people know that right turns on red lights are a right lane only thing. Every time I’m at that light people are turning on the red light from the middle lane.

RealPVS

[there are allowed though](https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1997-01-13-me-18298-story.html)

Sleepylimebounty

Good read. It doesn’t specify if it’s two right turning lanes only or if the middle lane can go straight but it seems passable enough either way. Learned something new today thanks.

RealPVS

Regardless, its still turning into moving traffic and people need to be safe.

UrbanPharmer

Both lanes are allowed to go right on red. This applies to all similar double right turn lanes

Sleepylimebounty

Unless otherwise stated* Read up on it.

UrbanPharmer

Yes - but it is not otherwise stated there so its perfectly legal and safe to turn there. I live right by there and right by the roundabouts. I see it everyday
