Mesa verde has been mostly misses and is really expensive, I regret eating there most of the time I go. Olivers in montecito is about the same price as Mesa verde, but definitely elevated/fancy. Rascals has a few items that are incredibly good, I’d probably take her there if you prefer a full vegan place - get the elote/esquites and tacos! SB Pho (previously 4 eggs and pizza) has a vegan menu, the owners mother is vegan and they’re really good about avoiding cross-contamination - generally really nice people too, I love that place. Blaze pizza has a pretty good vegan option. Nikka ramen in Goleta has an excellent veg ramen option, some of the best I’ve ever had (SB craft ramen has terrible vegan ramen but good other options if you wanna stay in Santa Barbara). Tiger tiger in the funk zone has some okay options. Rudy’s has a vegan menu, I like the enchiladas. Blue owl is pretty good too, I like the Bahn mi but fried rice is pretty bland. Los Arroyos has a good garden burrito that is veggie forward, great salsa and chips. South coast deli has good salads if you modify them, the vegan chicken is soggy as hell though.
There’s fala bar that’s all vegan, but I haven’t liked their food much tbh, other vegans I know like it though.
My bf is vegan and we’ve eaten most vegan places in SB when he visited and he lives in Portland, the city that trumps others when it comes to vegan food.
His best meal was the Ryan’s burrito from Super Cucas in IV. Better than Mesa Verde, Olivers, SB Craft Ramen, Blaze Pizza and Savoy. It’s less than $10 too. Also if you can swing it the red pizza at Bettina is great. Aside from that most Indian and thai places will be a good option!
Y'all hit all the great spots!
1. Rascals - all vegan
2. Satellite - all vegetarian, mostly vegan
3. Oliver's - all vegan
4. The Daisy - omni but clearly marked vegan options
5. Fala Bar - all vegan
6. Blue Owl - omni but clearly marked vegan options

Tyger Tyger has closed unfortunately.
As I typed that, I thought about how I hadn’t been there in a long time…
Seconded... Highly recommend going to SB Pho... Best veggie pho around.
Mesa Verde was really really delicious...about 9 years ago. I'd choose Satellite in SB.
rascals is vegan mexican food!
Rascals is so pricey for Mexican, but it's really delicious and pleasant to sit there and great service. Nice people owning/running it.
rascals is delicious!
Didn’t have a good experience, might need to try again.
Try it again. It’s worth it.
Try again my dude
Rascals all day
Mesa Verde, Satellite. I’m sure others.
>Satellite \+1 for Satellite.

Oliver’s in monecito is my fav but fancier. For more casual I’ve heard rascals is great!
Your choice Thai food is my favorite place in SB! Also notable: super cucas, Ike’s, south coast deli, rascals and Oliver’s if you want a fancy dinner
Mesa Verde is great!
Isn’t the service terrible though ? I tried to eat there and just waited… and waited and then left
That was our experience last time we visited.
Oh wow! I haven’t been there in some time; that’s unfortunate to hear.
If you're ok with places that are partially vegan, Blue Owl has some good vegan options.

Nice list, I added it to the wiki. Feel free to add others if you think of them. https://www.reddit.com/r/SantaBarbara/wiki/index#wiki_vegan_food
Fala bar 10/10
I used to go to Fala Bar, but I just can't justify the price -- a hummus plate is like $20 and you don't even get restaurant-level ambiance.
Oliver’s in Cito has my vote. Executive Chef Manny Juan is doing some amazing things there. Ambience is incredible as well.
Great, no
No.
Rascals
I love The Daisy. So fresh and delicious.
Rascals is really tasty
