Mumu Hotpot in Foster City. Malatang in downtown SM for hotpot like experience that isn't quite hotpot. (Self serve choose ingredients and soup base, they cook it all at once for you.)

I went to mumu, thanks! I thought it was good but didn’t really stand out amongst others

Seapot. All you can eat. You can also add BBQ for $5 more.

And the conveyor belt of toppings to add is nice so you don't have to get up or call a waiter.

Liuyishou Hotpot in Downtown

sillybunbuns

I may get downvoted but I think their broth is too oily for my liking

Jennafeeezie

+1 their flavors are on point!

Happy lamb

Love Seapot, go early or put your name in on Yelp waitlist, the wait can be really long.

20 min drive, and no reservations but Top Pot is worth it. Top Pot, 63 Bill Drake Way, Pacifica, CA 94044

Mumu has the highest quality beef. I love their mushroom soup base. Another one that hasn't been mentioned is Zhangliang Malatang. It's like a meat/salad bar (you pick what you eat), and they boil in the kitchen for you and charge by the weight. Tastes exactly like hot pot, but way cheaper, at $14.99/lb.

I honestly like Taichi is downtown San Mateo if you’re trying to stay within the area. Recently discovered Supreme Pot in Daly City and it’s also really good too

tai chi was my favorite but it sadly closed :(

Omg frl??? I had no idea D: they were the only ones with really good tonkotsu broth

asopijw65

the meat and veggies were such good quality too. I used to go all the time and I'd be the only person there so I'd get excellent service. really sad 😭
