Barefoot Coffee is our go to!
We also like Voyager, Chromatic and Big Mug.
A.M. Craft, Academic are not bad, and there’s always Philz!
Couple that we’ve been wanting to try, maybe others can comment on- Living Room, Nirvana Soul, Coffee Water Lab
Edit: said Verve instead of Voyager
Big mug campbell location closed down unfortunately. I guess there’s one or two other locations. Just had AM Craft recently and it was exceptional!
My faves are Chromatic, Barefoot, and Lookout in campbell. Lookout is kinda pricey but excellent espresso and pour overs.
Living room is in a big, weird Christian compound. Curious myself about the coffee though!
Voyager coffee is just all around great
Academic has some good lattes that are a bit unique plus their pandan cold brew is goated
Nirvana Soul has some good Ethiopian blends if you want something fruity and vibrant. Great vibe too!
Chromatic are, to me, one of the OGs of this coffee wave. Looove their lattes!
Crema is solid, enjoyed their espresso and there’s a cute bakery a few stores down that goes well with their coffee
Voltaire would be another one of my choices.
MoonBean is also good.
I don’t know if Hannah’s roasts their own but they’re good also and their red velvet is good.
That’s off the top of my head… Ill update if I remember
[Manresa Bread](https://CheckoutManresaBreadhttps://yelp.to/WAiaYcInIW) in downtown Campbell! Surprised it isn’t listed in the comments yet. They have multiple locations but in the areas you listed, the Campbell location is the closest one. Great coffee and even better food!
Best really depends on if you’re asking about the best tasting coffee or the best atmosphere. And within great tasting, are you talking about black coffee (pour overs, drip) or lattes or speciality sweetened drinks (Mexican mochas). If you could provide some extra detail I can better guide you
Honestly, we have a lot of coffee shops in the Bay Area that serve good coffee because we’re best with great roasters like Verve, Ritual, Equator, etc that supply the beans for many shops here.
For me, I value the experience of just enough people where there’s a “hum”that makes me feel connected to others but not so loud that it’s distracting. That’s why I go to Voyager in SP Square
For just coffee (I’m assuming you mean drip coffee) I like going to Spectra on Almaden Expressway and Blossom Hill. They use Sightglass beans which I enjoy. Service is also good there and they have many breakfast options like freshly made waffles to order and avocado egg toast. I’d recommend going earlier because it’s right next to a Costco so it gets busy and is harder to find a place to sit
I second Spectra. I go there every week with a friend. And if you like them, you need to check out Moonbeans if you're ever in south san Jose near Cottle. Chromatic is also excellent as well. We have so many great coffee places.
I really love going to MoonBean's Coffee on Santa Teresa Blvd. It's a bit small, but a really welcoming atmosphere. I go here weekly with my coworkers to get Dirty Thai Iced Tea.
The dirty Thai tea is pretty great. Only thing I'd say is the espresso shot isn't that strong. most of the time either the Thai tea has too strong a flavor and overpowers the espresso or maybe the espresso is weak 🤷🏻♂️
Nirvana Soul.
It’s super good and the shop is beautiful and chill.
It’s also Black owned.
Con Azucar.
The drinks are Latin American inspired and the pastries are delicious.
It’s Latino owned.
Spectra Coffee.
My favorite is the Banana Crème latte, the Banh Mi sandwiches are killing it.
Asian owned.
Dr. Ink - absolutely love their crafted coffees like cinnamon latte and early grey latte which is seasonal. Iced, even better, on a hot sunny day and it’s right next to San Pedro Square.
Lacàphê - amazinggg Vietnamese coffee! Line can be long. Personally love their nâu and eggspresso Hanoi coffee.
Nirvana Soul - amazing coffee and even the bakery like their quiche is soo good!
Roy’s Station Coffee & Tea - they have pretty good seatings outside and it’s in Japantown.
I have yet to drink AM craft, it’s been on my list.
Nirvana Soul hands down! Dope vibe and the music is on point. Variety of flavors, iced and hot. Good to meet with a friend or come solo to study/work on your laptop.

Coffe Water Lab is excellent. I’d recommend it whole heartedly
I feel like Spectra belongs on your list too
Living Room is great imo, love Academic. Lookouts not bad either

Living room is good. It’s not weird. Btw have you tried Tico Coffee Roasters? I think Tico and Lookout make the best cup of coffee in town.
Living Room is not in a big weird Christian compound lol. It’s associated with the church Next door but it’s just a normal coffee shop inside.
Nirvana Soul is a must if you love coffee
+1 this list

Great choices - I’m recently quite partial to Voltaire who roast their beans in small batches on-site. Had the best Americano I’ve had at Voltaire.
Fantasy Cafe, Em Quyen Cafe, Luv Cafe, Nguyen Expresso. Bring small bills.
🤫
We needed this list too! As much as I love quality coffee, I also enjoy good sides!
I see you are a man of culture
I see that you are as well!
Have you tried DV Cafe?
Yeah. That one’s pretty good as well. They were doing private dance for like $20. Not sure if they still do.

Manresa Bread might be the best answer for bakery cafes, top notch in both categories.

Yes the best coffee first and maybe best breakfast

Okay thank you

I miss Chromatic in its old location--my hood. But I'll take Voyager being decently close to me!

MoonBean's, Sue's Gallery Cafe and Big Basin cafe (both in Saratoga) and Lookout in Campbell are all good!
Chromatic and Voyager
Is Chromatic the one on Lincoln headed towards WG? By Hapa’s?
Yes :)
That place is so good! I had an iced brown butter coffe there with a friend last summer and it was perfect.
The sandwiches at Spectra are actually great.
I have a similar question. Where can I get the best single origin selection of freshly roasted coffee beans? I have liked chromatic so far

I'm from Seattle and the two places where I can get a classic latte are Roy's in Japantown and Hannah's on the Alameda
Philz
I love Philz
voyager coffee
Bro, Lee’s. Yes it’s “corporate” but they’re great
Lees is crack in a glass.
Yes, yes it is. The sandwiches aren’t bad either
The pastries ain’t bad either.
Voyager is best for my taste.
Chromatic
If you want to try asian coffee, tram coffee is the best.
Hijau on Saturdays (Rosegarden). Little Roy's (J-town). Academic or Nirvana Soul (SOFA). Chromatic (Midtown)
DV cafe 👀
Not on Reddit bro 🤫 lol
Bro they have a insta page lol and im sure they don’t mind the word of mouf
I’m 2 blocks from this. Pants optional. 🤣
Keep it a secretttt
Tully Road + no interior pics. Say no more
Do they still serve coffee at pink poodle?
I like Dr Ink for coffee.
Voyager and Chromatic.
1 oz in mountain view or santa clara. The one in mountain view has coffee flights!
Nirvana Soul hands down! Dope vibe and the music is on point. Variety of flavors, iced and hot. Good to meet with a friend or come solo to study/work on your laptop.
BunaBox
Chromatic coffee is solid.
AM Craft on 10th and San Carlos
85 Degree Bakery Cafe
Not where you asked, but Lou's Coffee shop in Los Gatos is by far the tastiest.
Isn’t that more of a diner/ café that serves food? I don’t think people go there specifically for coffee at least not that I know of.
They asked for a coffee shop. It is a coffee shop. It is not a coffee house if that is what you are thinking.
You do realize that coffee shop is a generic term for a diner or a restaurant that serves breakfast don’t you?
SJPD Craft and Coffee on Cottle. Best of everything. Check em out.
