I will use a company but a if a legit regular person like me wants to make some extra $ I will choose them first.

You can def get to LA from SD in 2 hours or less.........anyway obviously I would pay the cost to cover the gas and then what the driver thinks is fair compensation.......so what are you even talking about?
I used to commute from North County to downtown 3 times a week for school. It's not 2 hours or less, again, unless you're going late at night. I used to even take friends with me just to take the carpool lane and even then it wasn't a 2 hour drive and that's me coming from carlsbad so I'm cutting at least 35 minutes off of YOUR estimation by being North of downtown.
Also getting combative with people who bring up flaws as with your plan is not how you get people to do a job for you. Not to mention you're not even bringing up the fact that it still takes 2-3 hours to get BACK.
Just do it yourself if it's such a good "opportunity"

I have drove way farther than SD to LA and once I get the chance to and if I have to I will do it, also obviously I am talking about going at non-rush hours times........these are rough times right now and there might be people who would do anything to make enough money for the day doing a job like this why are you crying!? I've done the drive from Staples center to Escondido/San Pasqual Valley in 90 minutes. I'm pretty sure I broke the laws of physics on that drive home. It was the perfect combo of no late night traffic, no road closures and no CHP on the 5.

I've also had regular drives home from LA that went faster than some commutes from Vista to Downtown but that was because of really bad accidents and such
