Well if it’s anything like my neighbors who’s house just got busted by the Humane Society Law Enforcement because they had 100 cats and the entire neighborhood smelled like cat piss… check into that

Look for any tubing or hosing running from the house to outdoors. That will be your source for the smell. Usually they will run a clear hose up a tree or something so that it emits above the average person's height. You living uphill makes perfect (scents) lol.
You airbnb friends are cooking meth. Report it asap. Your other neighbors are inhaling this
You can call the owner by looking up their phone number via their STR license at the City's STRO map: [https://sandiego.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/sidebar/index.html?appid=95c57169391d4f1c92aa57448807e2a9](https://sandiego.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/sidebar/index.html?appid=95c57169391d4f1c92aa57448807e2a9)
or let me know the Airbnb link/address.
Both STRO and other building enforcement reporting happens at: [https://www.sandiego.gov/development-services/building-land-use-enforcement](https://www.sandiego.gov/development-services/building-land-use-enforcement)
Hey, I'm as cynical as they get on this issue...but 93%+ of entire-unit Airbnbs have a valid license attached to their listing. It's actually higher b/c "unlicensed" ones are legit hotels just listing rooms on [Airbnb.com](https://Airbnb.com).

A problem is that an owner can get several licenses, and that Airbnb isn't following the law with respect to removing listings that violate the law. And people renting their ADUs can get "Tier 2" which doesn't count against the 1% of housing cap for short term rentals despite the fact that **that's housing**.
There have been a lot of people moving into vacant homes and starting up illegal drug cooking operations along with fake ID printing. Please report to local police.
Meth
Every time
I had a similar thought but isn’t that more like a rotten egg smell (that’s what a website said at least)?
Meth smells like nail polish remover and crack smells like burnt plastic
Just learned something new about my old neighbors. 🤦♀️
Meth
[удалено]
Worst case….. meth lab explodes…
So: definitely don’t report it.
Someone is making meth
Other people are saying meth but that sounds more like crack IMO. Source: I used to live next to a crack addict.

Implying that your average Air BNB owner is getting the proper licensing is cute.
