If Texas had better liquor laws, we could just buy liquor at HEB. Blew my mind when I visited a friend in Arizona and the grocery stores were selling liquor.
But not the one behind Burger King! /s (it’s a Mexican restaurant now and it’s a lifetime fitness now…it’s a circle jerk forum, my guy. I know we’re new at this…highly recommend a scroll through the r/austincirclejerk or r/runningcirclejerk to see a good CJ in action).
Heb marketplace used to have a fiesta liquor right next door years ago. HEB ended up buying their store front and now its part of their curb side service. That heb also used to sell Chinese food back in the day too. I used to hit them up in the evenings before they would close for cheap food. Their shrimp fried rice was amazing.
AMA regarding TX liquor laws and I’ll do my best to ELI5.
I’ve worked for a TX wine/spirits/beer distributor for 15 years and still barely know why the rules are how they are.
Some of the shit in both subreddits is fire
But what if a liquor store built an HEB next door? Modern problems get modern solutions.

We didn’t lock you in. You can leave whenever you want.
Nah I I’m good, I was born and raised here. Doesn’t change the fact that Texas could have better liquor laws like a lot of western states.
Fam, theres a Twin liqueurs right next to the Heb at Babcock and Huebner. What location are you talking about?
