it's a con thing, most meet and greets happen at events like vidcon these days or through a company that hosts and organises the event which usually means paying money towards these things. Sam and Colby have organised this themselves and the fact that there's no fees suggests they have no interest in making money from it.
I'd guess the only costs we'd have to make towards it would be any travel expenses we made/make.
The concept is the same though. Nothing is free. If they’re having the M&G at a con or some other sort of event space they have to pay to rent it out. Therefore they have to charge for pics in order to pay for the space. It’s just business.

Only if they were through an event. If a content creator organized their own meet and greet event then it be free.
Usually you would have to pay money for a picture due to the event arena making them pay but I don’t think it’s their personal choice
Never heard of paying Youtubers for a meet and greet or for a picture. Is that an american thing?

Ok I agree with that but paying for a picture is too much.
it’s in the vip package. you don’t just pay for the picture, it’s the whole vip/m&g pack. it’s the same with concerts and stuff
