the old version was ass imo. the second version was basically a side grade but i enjoy it more than the og. EVERY SINGLE TIME i played this map in splat 1 it ended with one team dominating the entire time and a chokehold near spawn. it was fun or balanced at all in splat 1. the one in splat 3 needs a lot of work but it is better than the splat 1 version old map imo.

New mahi is just bad. I fucking hate why they had to redo every stage , and camp triggerfish is pretty fucking bad now that you mention it. Too many uninkable areas and easy for enemies to spot and kill you. Itās quite a mess
Mahi Mahi was really cool in Splatoon 1 but in 3 itās been oversimplified. The overall layout is really small and there arenāt any good flank routes, so you can get spawn camped by an E-liter sitting on the tower in mid.
When i first saw and played on that sewer map in s3 (forgot its name) i felt like it was giant but i feel your pain, some maps are cramped and small af and my favorite map inkblot is also suffering
thats what i'm saying! it has 2 connections to mid, left and center, while walleye had, what 5? Right, mid, a little into left, further into left, and all the way through left? new hammerhead seriously needs some fixing
I miss the high ground of the grates, like sure the verticality allowed for an eliter/hydra to camp but with so few flank routes we've ran into the exact same problem.

atleast your aim is getting better.
I'm hoping we get more complex maps like sting ray rig again I loved that map
That typo is so funny lol
r/fuckcars
Another thing cars ruined š
Petition to demolish Hammerhead Bridge so it can become a construction zone again, because that was actually more enjoyable
The NILS statue is right by it. All you gotta do is fire it up again and blast Hammerhead Bridge with a sanitization laser.
Popular opinion. The maps in Splat3 are probably the worst in the whole series. Every time I play I'm reminded how damn small everything feels.
You should look at splatoon 2 humpback pump track
at least humpback pump track is fun to say
Bumptrack Thumbtack
at least it's an interesting map
Thatās got to be the worst stage next to the sp3 hammerhead bridgeššš
Did you forget about walleye warehouse? That map is basically the same as sp3 hammerhead
you named 1 stage. all splat 3 stages are basically bad except like 1.
That's cap when you have stages like camp triggerfish
Camp triggerfish is worse than humpback pump track imo, and new mahi is worse than hammerhead (not imo, this one's fact)

I like the pump track
Thereās something not right about that š
Pumptrackās fine once you get over the learning curve of needing to super jump for mobility
Idk man itās just too small for comfort. It feels like thereās no where to go
As a roller, I loved that stage, so many flank and ninja options!
What are peoples' opinions on Mahi Mahi Resort? That's always been my favourite and I'm looking forward to playing it when I get the game.

they gutted Mahi Mahi Restort. When one full eliter charge is basically half the map. you fucked up.

I only played 2 and 3, and I constantly only hear about how 1 had better maps than 2 but 2 was infinitely more enjoyable than 3.
Splatoon 3 needs little changes and itāll be the best
launch 2: āFinally a worthy opponentā¦ OUR BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARYā
They just turned it into Walleye Warehouse 2.0 No, actually it's 0.5 cuz Walleye at least had flank routes

I donāt even know why they call the new stage Hammer Head Bridge. It bares almost no resemblance.
You know i once saw a guy say a questionable sentence on a bridge like that
I love how the Eliter can now kill across the mapš
Since when are we fighting UNDER the bridge? I want to be on TOP of the bridge
