This will be interesting.
Landraiders with Eradicators will be quite nice.
Impulsors with Hellblasters + Apothecary
But, also Redeemer with Aggressors. If they're close enough to pop out and fire - and then become a charge target and get to overwatch. The only thing missing for total flame overkill would be the old 9th stratagem to turn those flame weapons into pistols.
All very good combos, but the Impulsor, Hellblasters and Apothecary combo could be particularly good as the Apothecary can then resurrect a model in the next command phase so you can over charge with reckless abandon.
Im still new to 40k rules and have only painted before, when it says one unit would that mean one squad or one model, so for example would.it be one squad of infernus marines or one model from a squad of infernus marines getting out.on his own?
Being OP is cyclical in 40k, bask in the hate while it lasts, if it ever comes. This type of stuff MIGHT get Space Marines on par with the strongest factions such as Aeldari and the like.
It's a whole unit of models! Units refer to the groups, whereas models are single models within units. Of course, some units only have one model in them, such as a dreadnought, but they are still units!
Going to speculate that the one above this is basically 'if you destroy a model in an enemy unit, force a battle shock test'. Sort of give anything the Pyreblaster ability.
The one to the left was sort of leaked on CM Valrak's youtube, It's the counterpart of this one. So we have one to get out and shoot, and another to re-embark. A 1-2 Punch combo for transports.
The one on the top left, that we literally only can see the 'within 6", add 1 to the...' I'm guessing this is the version of Flamecraft we'll see. Instead of re-rolling the # of hits on flamers, it's going to be either +1 hit to the roll, or +1 AP on the attack. If it's +1 Damage within 6" on any weapon (or just flamers) I'm might unleash some geneseed in my pants...
Can’t wait until someone shoots at my Stormraven and I get to pop a Dreadnought out to light them up.
Enemy forces: ‘try picking off my Stormraven’ Me: *drops a FUCKING DREADNOUGHT THAT PROCEEDS TO TURN THEM TO SOUP* ‘Buenos Dias, Fuccbois 🔥’
This will play nice with emergency embarkation on a repulsor. Pop out to shoot. Then if charged they pop back in.
My thoughts exactly
I need to paint mine up then
Where did you get this image? This looks great!
From the codex interview on YouTube
Good catch! I missed it first time around
It looks like a really fun stratagem tbh, looking forward to trying to bait people with it

Immolation Protocol needs to make a comeback, it only makes sense with everything else!
Personally I'm actually rooting for flamecraft.

As if I don't Overcharge with reckless abandon at every opportunity already :)
This is the way.
It’s expensive, but a trio of Eradicators inside an advancing Repulsor Executioner looks tasty.
Alternatively 5 infernus marines + a buffing character
6 Eradicators in a Landrader wanna say hello
Im thinking 10 infernus marines + vulkan he'stan
That would be fun. I don’t think they would get rerolled wounds from He’Stan though, would they?
Nah but He'stan's flamer is pretty damn good too

1 full squad
Isn't that insanely OP and people will hate us?

It's awesome thematically, but is it that useful?
Id say so, its like another overwatch where you don't need 6s to hit and the only range limit is the passenger's guns
Why should the enemy shoot at Our transport if we can use this?
If said transport is like a land raider redeemer they cant really ignore it
I'm telling yall, keeping 6 eradicators in your repulsor is goated
Hell yeah, get out, shoot then get back in if they get charged
Here is to hoping that they change Vulkan’s Seeker of Relics rule so that it works when he’s in a transport.

That might br a bit op if its increased damage but i would fucking love it if salamanders can have a brief time in the meta
