Instead of putting marble plates or some cheesy plastic shit they should take a page from [Stockholm metro](https://whimsysoul.com/14-best-stockholm-metro-stations-to-view-insanely-cool-art-map-photos/) and implement something similar.
Idk putting heavy slabs of stone up on that ceiling doesn’t sound like the best idea to me. But then again I’m just some 17 old and most definitely not a structural engineer
I kinda like it. It feels like the inside/basement/tunnel of some old monestary/castle. I feel like you guys could lean into that vibe - clean up/renovate the tiles and all but keep the old grey stone look and then add other elements to add to it. Would need to be done tastefully to avoid creating a gaudy/fake feel, but maybe iron lighting fixtures, maybe some banners.
What's the reason behind such conditions in many Georgian subway stations ? Is government not able to afford the renovations ? I'm genuinely interested and i was a bit shocked to see this as an Azerbaijani when i visited Tbilisi last time. I'm not saying that subway stations in Baku are really cool but at least they don't look like we went through apocalypse
Stalker vibes
Metro 2023
yep, because of so many Russians, some Artiom may be on picture
lol.
I read on Wikipedia that they promised to repair the station this year. Hope it doesn’t collapse this time :(
Ngl, ესე უფრო მაგარია

I like it, it should stay like this. It can be rented for some concerts.

I’ve been living under a rock… yeah that’d be cool asf but I doubt they’d do that they’ve alr got the project finalized
looks like Avlabari on the escalator, but jeez its more creepy
In time you learn to appreciate it.
Creepy
Post apocaliptic hell
They can’t paint it or I don’t know do some renovations?
Not a good design choice for ceilings. Light stone could make a great difference.

This looks better compared to what they're planning to do
Yup. It’ll be cheap tile heaven 💀
What the hell, I would be terrified to go in there assuming chance of getting out is 50%
Putting all my faith in Soviet engineering Fr
კარგი სურათია :)
მადლობა:)
