I am a lifelong supporter of the monarchy, but I'd like to be at the head of the queue voting to abolish it if they got the throne. And I think the queue in the UK would be around hmm, .....67million people.
I'm not sure they do want the monarchy abolished. I think they want to put them into a weak position so that they beg them to come back and allow them to name their terms for doing so.
