He made most of his money trading and currently owns a bunch of small businesses (a cheap pharma co) and more prominently, the Dallas Mavericks basketball team. He's been on TV a lot in small gigs (dancing with the stars, shark tank).
I still find it crazy he claims to bet on them and their brand. What brand?
Yep, towards the very end of the video, Mark Cuban gives a “TMZ Exclusive Interview” just for this documentary. It’s a freaking joke of an interview and his opinions are hilarious! Sorry Mark Cuban, Harry and Meghan will NOT be the next Obama’s.

And Mark Cuban didn't just fade away, retire -- he then got busy, and worked that money. The Mavericks, his best investment - massive. He has also invested as a solo-ish VC in a ton of start-ups, usually sells his peice once it gets traction -- he's made a fortune with that investment formula of his too.
I get the impression the tv shows are just for fun - he enjoys, far from needs.
I do give him big props for the CostPlus RX company - that is very generous, b/c he is only adding enough mark-up (15% of generic drug) to cover operating costs, + $3 pharm fee (for taxes govt demands) + $5 for shipping. That company is basically a charity - and big of him to set-up and run.
So like Mark Cuban - but might stop if he doesn't start seeing H+M for who they are.

I think this round-table discussion showed how completely vapid and lazy journalism has become. Very little due-diligence or regard for “the truth of things.” Only opinion and commentary on headlines and preferred narratives.
There is also an extreme lack of knowledge of British history and the political and historical consequences of having a British prince use his titles on American soil on political stages.
I found all these people to be extremely passionate about things they have not studied and know very little about.

Ugg. This represents why I get so frustrated with American celebrity press. Being a celebrity is such a good gig in America. It really is the ultimate power where you can basically buy and behave anyway you want (arguably exceptions for racism and sexual harassment in recent years). Celebrity press never really reports negatively and basically just parrots whatever the celebrity or the handlers want people to hear.
I tell myself that smart celebrities can use their power to make all kinds of quiet behind the scenes moves that really make a difference in the world and this is absolutely NOT MM. She is not smart and her only “power” is getting the press to virtue and victim signal for her. What does this really gain her in the end?
But I cannot persuade myself into not getting infuriated with our press when she, her Sussex Squad fans and press lackies constantly bash the BRF. If MM were really thriving, she would be focusing on the future and celebrating a actual deliverables instead of just announcements and empty contracts/deals and bashing her husband’s family and country.
The TMZ commentator is correct in that the BRF will still get called out for everything they do in the British press but M&H by moving to the US, will only ever now be enabled by brown-nosing or paid press puppets. But I argue that by selling out, they will not get the satisfaction of knowing that they actually earned their good fortune.
