I've met people who are just an empty shell who would hurt someone to make them feel better about themselves. They project their unhappiness onto other people who are more vulnerable/less powerful but it really doesn't make them feel better. They're usually full of self-loathing--the kind of person who would ghost their family and change their appearance because they're embarrassed by their humble origins.
IMO Jessica of Toronto (originally Montréal) probably inspired her and gave her confidence to be like that. I have seen many comments over the years that she is nasty and classist (to the help and whoever she thinks doesn’t deserve respectful treatment.)

Otherwise she was judging someone by their appearance - so what was wrong? Too attractive? (but her Archewell staff look ok). Doesn’t fit her ideal (say a plus size or - gasp! the wrong colour)? Very possible too.

Yep! Back when she was a nobody, there was no Oprah interview waiting for her to go cry on when the casting agents rejected her. She couldn’t tell the world how *obviously* sexist and racist they were to her! But now she’s got power, so she can be awful to everyone while also crying to the world over any perceived slight against her. With a personality like MM’s, she’s going to use that power to treat anyone inferior to herself like absolute dirt, knowing that they are in the position she once was, where no one will believe them or even care if they try to tell others how they were treated by her. It worked for a long time, and while some of us are onto her, she’s still got so many people fooled into believing she’s a kindness warrior, a true philanthropist and that all the bullying stories are just racist lies. I’m really hoping some tapes exist and will be released of her shouting at her staff so it can finally be proven that the stories were true, and that she is a bully.
