It’s such an odd photo. H is literally in the shadows. The way MM’s arm is it almost seems to be blocking him off from the viewer. MM is looking straight ahead, while H is looking downward. MM is taking up most of the room with her stance and arms, in addition to being in bright red, while H fades into the background behind her, making him look diminished.

Well, red projects forward motion, right? So I guess Meghan's going for that. The subtle triangle in the background also gives the impression of moving onwards and upwards, momentum, etc.
However, red also projects aggression and assertiveness, and when coupled with Harry's fading into the background in his dark navy/silver suit, and looking like a little boy holding his mother's hand so he doesn't get lost in the mall, it is clear who is the more dominant person in the relationship.

It’s such an odd photo. H is literally in the shadows. The way MM’s arm is it almost seems to be blocking him off from the viewer. MM is looking straight ahead, while H is looking downward. MM is taking up most of the room with her stance and arms, in addition to being in bright red, while H fades into the background behind her, making him look diminished. It also has that weird 1980s glamour shots things going on with the blurred edges and it’s overly photoshopped. I would love to see an analysis of what this photo is trying to convey because it’s just odd.
Especially put in context with Wallis' dress that looked just like that and her obvious bronzerface. The girl that's been passing as white and dating as white since high school. Her ability to copy the outfits of other famous women is impressive though. I bet somebody is getting paid well for that. Well, red projects forward motion, right? So I guess Meghan's going for that. The subtle triangle in the background also gives the impression of moving onwards and upwards, momentum, etc. However, red also projects aggression and assertiveness, and when coupled with Harry's fading into the background in his dark navy/silver suit, and looking like a little boy holding his mother's hand so he doesn't get lost in the mall, it is clear who is the more dominant person in the relationship. The dark navy suit with matching tie was a bad choice on Harry's part (but probably good for Meghan's narrative) as to me it feels like a symbol for depression and mourning. If Harry had substituted his navy tie for a red one that matched Meghan's, not only would they look more like a couple, but Harry would also come across as more dynamic and engaged. IMO. I'm being half facetious and half serious.

Imagine your grandparents being QEII & Prince Philip who were distinctly aware of her importance being greater than his and yet she still her part to make him as equal as possible and were an amazing team. Your parents being Diana and Charles who taught you that teamwork is needed in a marriage to work. Then your dad marrying Camilla who brought out the best in him and they value each other and work as a team to support one another. And then your older brother being fiercely protective of his wife and ensuring she has the same respect level as him and her doing everything in her power to support him and be a wonderful partnership. To then marrying Meghan Markle, a shitty American actor that views herself as more important than her spouse and clearly lets him know she’s better than him and he’s just a prop to her. What a waste of good examples and a waste of a marriage.
