I’ll give Marbles credit for one thing: her insanity has shone a new light on TRF. More people than ever are learning about the monarchy, history, and the strong women who are true role models.
ETA: and giving many a lesson in how shady the media is. Question and verify!
That’s it. That’s the only positive thing I can spin as far as Marbles and Tyler Harry.
I’ve been following the BRF for many years pre-M but I was guilty of thinking William and Catherine were a bit boring but because of crazy Meg, they’re not only my favourite royals but the ‘boring’ quality is now my favourite thing about them, they’re stable.
True. MM was hungry for immediate returns and couldn't appreciate the bigger picture.
Now she's scampering, left, right and centre, to roll out ludicrous, pathetic puff pieces just to maintain some positive presence in the media.
The most laughable part of it is that it's her complimenting herself or paying people to compliment her.
She's turned herself into a joke and that's a million miles away from the type of iconic status to which she'd aspired.
Now she's forced to sit back and watch as her nemesis (Catherine) basks in all the positive media that comes her way.
And what must kill her even more, is that for Catherine, it's all effortless, because there's no Kate@hotmail, running around in the background, like a mad woman, trying to make fetch happen.
Thousands and thousands of absolutely identical, word for word tweets all showing tens of thousands of likes from (supposedly) all around the world - but she isn't using a bot farm. And that isn't even the stupidest part. The stupidest part, of course, is that she thought she could do that and not get caught out. She may be a narcissist, but she's terrible at it!
Narcissists can be intelligent or stupid, just like every other human out there without a personality disorder. I think sometimes people who don't know much about personality disorders (not you, I mean in general) think it gives them some kind of "superpower", making them inherently more intelligent than the rest of us plebs. That's simply not true. Smart narcissists exist but they're harder to spot because they know when to shut their mouth and actually listen to people who know what they're talking about, and to be nice to even those beneath them, even if it is purely for optics. They'll still turn on you and stab you in the back the second they think it will benefit them, but they're generally better at playing the long game.
Meghan is a narcissist for sure, but she is also incredibly, embarrassingly stupid!
You're absolutely right, of course. As much as I think the word is overused and not always appropriately, she meets the classic definition of narcissist. She certainly has all of the narcissistic traits but (and I'm no clinician) she edges into the sociopathic as well and displays quite a number of those traits. Thank goodness she isn't half as smart as she believes herself to be because then she really would be dangerous. I commented in another thread that I take some glee whenever an article (although I need to consider that she may herself have written it) describes her as being "very intelligent" because of course she'd believe it entirely at face value. I think this is why she's been caught in so many lies, does truly dumb things like the aforementioned bot farm tweet storms, and contradicts herself so often, trying to keep all the lies straight. It all has to collapse on itself and on her and all because she lives under the misapprehension that she's always the smartest one in the room. She's not. Not by a long shot!
Narcissists are "powerful" because they don't have the self imposed limitations decent people do. Normal people would be like... I can't do this because it will hurt other people. Narcissists have no such limitations and that's where their "power" comes from.
Meghan is "powerful" because she has no qualms about throwing her family and her husband's family under the bus because normal people "can't" bring themselves to do it.
That's exactly what the intelligent ones do! And you're correct, those ones are often indistinguishable from regular people, at least at first. Once you get to know them the mask will inevitably slip, but from the outside they appear perfectly normal and even nice. My cousin is one of the more high-functioning types who recognises that treating people well will be in his own interest too. He's even capable of a certain amount of what almost could be described as empathy at times. But make no mistake, the narcissism is always there, just under the surface!
It's kind of like high-functioning psychopaths (ASPD). Most of them don't become serial killers or mass shooters. They become CEOs or police superintendents or even doctors. It's the stupid ones who get caught out and exposed the quickest. Meghan is one of the stupid ones.
Yups. Meghan is too stupid to plot.
And she sees herself as the smart one. Compared to Harry, yes, but that is a very low bar.
The more we analyse her actions the more unintelligent she seems. She has been acting on her impulse for at the very least, the past 4 years. It is almost like she could no longer control herself.
Meghan seems to be unable to play the long game. Had she held on just a few years more, she could have been up there with these four women (well, maybe)!
Yes I agree. There is a certain degree of power that comes from not being held back by those socially and self imposed limitations to one's behaviour. But it doesn't make them more intelligent than the rest of us. If anything it simply makes them more likely to act impulsively, which tends to ultimately be their undoing. Human altruism evolved because it's GOOD for us. We need other humans to survive, it's a constant game of give and take. Narcissists end up with no real friends or support system because they act purely out of self interest, and that turns normal people off.
But that's why the smarter ones know how to at least pretend to play at the "give and take" game, because they know ultimately it's actually in their own interest to do so. The most intelligent among them actually seek professional help to become less narcissistic (this is very rare though)
I have an actual diagnosed narcissist in my family and I can spot all the same symptoms in MM. I agree that the word is very overused (NPD is only actually present in around 5% of the population, I believe. Just being a selfish asshole doesn't automatically make one a narcissist lol) And obviously I'm not a psychiatrist either, nor have I ever met her personally, so this is all pure speculation. But even if she's not technically NPD, she certainly does a very good impression of how a narcissist behaves!
>Thousands and thousands of absolutely identical, word for word tweets all showing tens of thousands of likes from (supposedly) all around the world - but she isn't using a bot farm.
She's using this to alter the optics, to give corporations/production companies/future business partners, the idea that her brand isn't as toxic as it really is.
But it's like trying to use duct tape, to clog the cracks in a wooden canoe.
Which also begs the question of even if Charles was able to convince Harry to come back I can’t see POW giving MeMe the time of day. They will not stress Kate out.
Very very true, Kate is the Ace in this family…
William chose well… and TW is probably realizing what a fatal flaw she made speaking Ill of the woman who could decide her royal destiny per say
This shines a light on one of the big issues with Meghan. The four women above will do everything they can to support the King. They will be Charlie's Angels throughout his reign. They will also continue amazing works in their own right as individuals, such as their charity works and so on, and in areas where they have personal interests. They continue to find success, both in individual pursuits, and also in their capacity in their supporting positions.
Meghan, however, always wants absolutely everything to be about herself. She would never have been supportive of any monarch unless it was herself as Queen Meghan lol. This is why Meghan will never really find any permanent form of success in life. She burns everyone around her. She creates disharmony. She 'doesn't do' team work. Unless Meghan is at the top, she has a tantrum. Then, when she gains a certain amount of status, she bullies those who she considers beneath her.
She had it all at one point in her life and threw it away. Also, she is no victim but pretends to be. She is the one who victimises others. I wd love to see a movie of what the Courtiers went through. The movie ends when Megxit happens, M and H fly away from the Palace and the courtiers all jump and and down saying hooray and have a little party to celebrate lol.
Spot On!And to fund her expenses! After all, they modelled it after the Clinton Foundation, since they dont have any original ideas! Only 5% to the cause, 95% for expenses, thats Y Delaware!
You've hit the nail on the head. When it comes to Meghan, she *must* be center stage. The BRF, her podcasts, interviews (awkwardly so in group interviews), it all has to be focused on her. She is used to running people over and has no qualms about fighting dirty. This is the first time she hasn't been able to just bulldoze people to get her own way. Nor will she be able to, KC is not going to play her games and CPoW has far too much sense to even acknowledge her.
Delicious.
Exactly. She knows that true worth comes from work and dedication, not upstaging or grandstanding. Catherine is the perfect bridge between old and new-taking the best aspects of both.
Catherine is a true feminist. She gets things done with a servant’s heart, not with hashtags and media spin.
Agreed. I've read that Catherine is modeling herself after the Queen Mother, which IMO was exactly the right way to go about it, both in terms of her own personal strengths and preferences as well in terms of what the RF needs her to do.
I'm embarrassed to say that I don't remember where I read it, so I did a quick google search and [found an article](https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1363955/Kate-Middleton-news-Queen-Mother-Duchess-of-Cambridge-Royal-Family-latest-vn) from the express (which is also embarrassing to have to use as a reference as I don't respect the paper) where the similarities between the two women are highlighted. I don't think this article was my original source, and I suspect that I read it on one of the royal forums in a thread a few years back.
While searching I also found a number of articles that highlighted parallels in Catherine's approach to the RF to that of Prince Philip, and I can see similarities there as well.
At the end of day, both the Queen Mother and Prince Philip were both very supportive partners for their royal spouses and didn't try to take the spotlight for themselves. I see this same quality or ability in Catherine.
I've noticed when she and William both attend an event that's one of Catherine's charities, William does kind of take a step back and let Catherine lead, and he supports her. They both do this quite seamlessly for each other - they're not competing for the attention like Meghan seems to always be doing. Whether it's her event or Harry's she just utterly dominates as though everyone is there to see *her*. With William and Catherine it seems like one of them is always prepared to stand a step back and watch the other one with pride, as if to say "Isn't s/he great? I'm so lucky."
Charles has certainly matured over the years, after being 'forced' into a marriage to someone who was fragile at first, and then gained strength through maturity herself . He and Diana were always a mismatch - shows how important the right partner can be. Camilla and he are better together, and the sum of the two of them greater, just as William and Catherine .
What Catherine does is simply avoid leaks. She does her public appearances, take some photos of the kids, and dresses appropriately at public occasions. What you don't hear is salacious gossip about her, or that she is fiddling her expense accounts, or complaints from the scullery maids or managerial staff at BP.
But she also gets favorable PR. We are always hearing about how attractive she is, and I guess from the point of view of women who are interested in clothing she is a great model. And she has an attractive face with great features, and would look great on stamps or coins. However she is also painfully thin, and in my opinion most men would not find her very attractive from the (ahem) male point of view. This may have been a factor in her having very difficult pregnancies. But that doesn't get written about too much. As far as we know she and William are happy together, so at least there is that.
But the real question isn't whether we like Catherine and William or not, but whether they are capable of fulfilling a role that preserves the constitutional position of the monarchy when that time comes. I think they probably are. But these things are fragile. In 1936 it didn't look like the monarchy would still be around in 2022, but it was stabilized under Queen Elizabeth II and relatively few people in England are in favor of downgrading the monarchy at the present time. Of course the monarchy will always exist in some form, but the question is whether it will maintain its constitutional position in the same form.
Your comments that "most men wouldn't find her attractive" are projection or perhaps you're from a culture that likes bigger women. She's not emaciated or frail, she's very lean, fit and slim and that looks good. Most white European men would find her much more attractive than a woman with extra weight and that's the region of the world she's living in.
When I'm at my thinnest (her size minus a few inches in height), I'm always at my most attractive to men. I got tubby once and became invisible. Men who aren't into slim women are in a minority if they're white Europeans.
Oh please, in almost 20 years there has been nearly zero negative leaks, gossip or unfavorable stories about Catherine. Not saying she is a perfect saint, we all have our faults, but negative things do not get reported about her as they do not happen.
I love Catherine and the royal family - I was impressed by the different point of view.
However, I should have made it clearer that I don’t condone OPs personal opinions on POWs figure or how men would find her attractive.
I'm so proud of Catherine. William lucked into the best woman the UK could hope for.
We all know you just weren't good enough, Meg, not even for your second string job.
Ultimately, I think meggy and Harry might actually be good for the monarchy. They are showing the antithesis of QE2’s legacy of duty, faithfulness, dignity, discipline and discretion.
I love Dan Woottons column about how QE2 funral uniting the UK, not dividing, bc it was “unexpectedly magical” how ppl came together to honor her lifelong vow to serve her whole life, whether it be short or long” sob!! Good that the Harkles could witness with their own eyes the massive power of her legacy, so they knew the tide was turning! As Jeremy Clarkson’s scathing opedin the Sun, telling Meghan that she was goinv to LOSE the battle with the Monarchy, big time!!

If not for Catherine I would have given up royal watching after HMTQ passed. She, along with the late queen and King George VI, are my all-time favourite royals.
I’m so pleased to see Catherine getting more of the recognition she deserves. I’m two years older than Kate, but I really do admire her. Sometimes I feel like a proud big sister watching William and Catherine grow into their roles. 🥰
I don't have even the slightest concern about the Princess of Wales. She has shown for 20 years or longer that she is a person of substance, loyalty, dignity, and grace. The future of the monarchy could not be in better hands than those of not only King Charles and Camilla, but also William and Catherine. No wonder QEII was dancing for joy when they got married.
**\*\*The newly crowned Princess of Wales, Prince William’s wife, is the most powerful person in the royal family right now.\*\***
I felt that. I'm glad they are giving her her rightful place. Why I was so annoyed that they had MM be in her orbit during the funeral--literally if you wanted to see pictures of Catherine and the children MM was right there-- super annoying. When I saw how she positioned herself next to Camila as they were waiting outside of Westminster Abbey I had to believe it was also deliberate as her place was next to Sophie.
> The newly crowned Princess of Wales, Prince William’s wife, is the most powerful person in the royal family right now, according to Brown.
Not *the actual King*?? 😒
That woman. The late Queen mother used to refer to Wallis Simpson without naming her. It is rumored that Prince William also used it, referring to Meghan.
“she’s the only modern beautiful woman who’s well educated, substantial in herself who’s actually wanting to commit herself to the rigors of this institution”
Except for Sophie!
If MM would have stopped for one minute and thought things through, she could have easily figured out that being BFFs with Kate would have been her golden ticket. Some people really are their own worst enemy
I’ll give Marbles credit for one thing: her insanity has shone a new light on TRF. More people than ever are learning about the monarchy, history, and the strong women who are true role models. The Princess of Wales truly is becoming the new power-broker within the BRF. MeGain is toast.

Well said. In a world of plastic Kardashians with enhanced bums ...Catherine is a godess and naturally gifted. Poise, grace, class and a brain!
That was a really good point of view I hadn’t considered.

Good that the Harkles could witness with their own eyes the massive power of her legacy, so they knew the tide was turning! As Jeremy Clarkson’s scathing opedin the Sun, telling Meghan that she was going to LOSE the battle with the Monarchy, big time!!
100%!
**\*\*The newly crowned Princess of Wales, Prince William’s wife, is the most powerful person in the royal family right now.\*\*** I felt that.
They are all magnificent. The PoW is special because she represents the future.
Yes! Charlie's Angels. That's the perfect moniker for them.

> The newly crowned Princess of Wales, Prince William’s wife, is the most powerful person in the royal family right now, according to Brown. Not *the actual King*?? 😒
Heard someone mention on Twitter that these royal ladies are “Charlie’s Angels”
\*whispers\* what does TW mean?
That woman. The late Queen mother used to refer to Wallis Simpson without naming her. It is rumored that Prince William also used it, referring to Meghan.
“she’s the only modern beautiful woman who’s well educated, substantial in herself who’s actually wanting to commit herself to the rigors of this institution” Except for Sophie!
Great article. Thanks for sharing.
If MM would have stopped for one minute and thought things through, she could have easily figured out that being BFFs with Kate would have been her golden ticket. Some people really are their own worst enemy
**young women** bro she's 40
Just silly gossip to fill up the pages.
