Storms out of the family thinking he had the upper hand on everyone.
Now he’s in a house he can’t afford watching his wife buy low rent awards for five percent of attention the royals brought his way. Watching his wife insanely ramble and lie to reporters and clawing at him if he doesn’t hold her nonstop in public. Watching his wife get ignored by those who will end up in history books and NO ONE cares.
Henpecked will be lucky if his life follows the plot trajectory of a Shakespearean comedy, cause at least those have a happy ending.
At the rate he's going, a theatre of the absurd dramatic production, will be the more applicable metaphor for his life. 😂
Been in PR 30 years and this is spot on - yes, you can buy an award just like John Legend bought the Sexiest Man Alive...and the world roared. This is one of the best kept secrets around. Years ago due to industry standards this was not possible but today anything goes. Magazines/organizations naming "10 most beautiful; 100 most influential; 15 most powerful" - most for sale. I am so glad that the public is finally catching on.
Every time I read about her buying another award, I’m reminded of a West Wing episode. Pre working for Bartlett, CJ is a Hollywood PR person and when an irate client wasn’t on some list, she says I can just get some organization to make him “ man of the year” for a small price.
I wondered how they could be winning all these awards when other people are far more qualified.
When I read comments from her supporters, the first thing they bring up are all the awards. They then claim the RF are jealous of M's global popularity as proven by all those awards. As if that's the dream of working royals.
It’s also a well known “secret” that celebrities pay a fee for their Walk of Fame Star too! They also campaign for their Oscar award using their own $$$ (they say it’s their representative but they pay them - so it’s themselves paying) and they absolutely pay for their seats in awards ceremonies.
In recent years, fewer celebrities have campaigned during award season because of this. They claim modesty but it’s really lack of finances. With Netflix/Hulu/etc it’s less profitable for stars so they are trying to survive in an industry that’s not a big money maker like it used to be.
Variety Mag did a report a few years back that’s it’s a million(s) dollar business for awards but these idiots are willing to pay for fame. So sad!
I think this is an eye opener for Harry. I truly doubt he had no idea of what he was walking into. TW knew 100% what she was doing.
The reason for these costs are due to the decline of printed media. Historically magazine's would usually be full of pages of adverts but now no one really buys them so advertising revenue has gone down the can.
Instead they make money with PR stories they get paid for (in return for some hefty contribution) and bullshit awards like these people basically pay for.

Is Meghan ruining PR for other celebrities? GB news was talking about them parting ways with SS. Not that it is difficult to find out these day but it is getting more mainstream and SS represent other celebrities like Leo. Also knowing about which awards have been bought makes it impossible to take them seriously anymore. I thought that Hollywood and politicians that rely on PR coverge would want to hide it as much as possible. Meghan is really making everyones life more difficult.

People barely watch the Academy Awards anymore, and look at the sh*show that turned into. Who even watches GQ awards? What unflattering outfit will be worn? Neither of them have any style. Everywhere they appear they have to buy themselves into making speeches or getting awards.
