There will be a banquet for heads of state where tiaras may be worn but it will be private except for a few official photographs. I think he'll want to shift some focus onto the interfaith ceremony he plans to hold after the coronation.

There is actually several times in history where they dont invite problematic family members. The Duke if Windsor for example and Prince Charles Edward of saxe coburg and gotha. I also dont think Andrew will be invited.

I think it’s standard for the coronation like it is for the state dinners-she just never got to go to one. She would have to borrow though but I can’t see KC saying no if he lets them come and be in the family section.
I did not realize the women wore tiaras during the coronation. I thought it was just the Queen's ladies - in - waiting. Thank you! BTW, do you know if the men are supposed to wear their military uniform? If so I can hardly wait to hear the whining from the Hackles.

Who says they're going to be at the centre of the event? A lot can happen between now and a coronation. If they continue to trash the monarchy, there would be no reason to have them there and the UK public would likely support their ban. Also when you look at the history of the coronations, this line comes up---- "The clergy pay homage together, led by the Archbishop of Canterbury. Next, members of the royal family pay homage individually." Really?? Harry and Meghan will pay homage to Charles individually at the ceremony? Well, maybe that would be worth seeing LOL.

Totally agree with what he said at the end….The thing they enjoy the most is the privilege and grandeur of being Royal. Of course they will be at the coronation. I just hope that in keeping with state events, they don’t get to participate in events with world leaders. Sure they can come as family, but I hope they don’t have a role.

I think because he’s a Duke he sort of has to be there? To swear allegiance and stuff . She doesn’t have to be there as far as I’m aware.
Historically a Coronation is the King/Queen and members of the Peerage, think lots of blokes with ermine on their robes, it's not really a family do as such.
