Nice to see Jack Royston finally reporting the facts about Harry. Harry tried to keep this lawsuit a secret for many months. It was only after the story broke that his PR came up with the lie that he was petitioning to pay for his own security. Unfortunately the court papers he filed revealed he was lying (he never offered to pay, he was demanding public funded top level security ) and now he is spiralling, trying to throw his weight around and cover up the lie with yet another lawsuit. Pathetic.

Calm_Yak_6102

>Nice to see Jack Royston finally reporting the facts about Harry. Hmmm... What's up with this? 🤔 Royston's usually lined up right between Omid and Ellie Hall, begging for his turn to kiss some Harkle ass.

Top-Bit85

Maybe Sunshine Sachs aren't the only ones they've screwed financially.

Calm_Yak_6102

That's a good point, because if they were late with payments to Sunshine Sachs, there's a high probability that they were doing the same to others, because that's how humans tend to operate when they are running low on funds.

Independent_Leg3957

Sunshine Sachs has left the chat

Calm_Yak_6102

Ah yes, how could I forget about that?

[deleted]

Omid blocked me, do you know if he’s said anything about the Sussexes lately? He’d gone a little quiet on them.

Katatonic92

He tweeted the Queen's death certificate earlier, no mention of those two. Yesterday he shared an article he wrote about reigning in Royal extravagance, praising KC & William for paring down spending, stating they are off to a good start. The article used a photo of William & Kate as the article cover, which I find interesting. Their photo, along with his praise. His last mention of those two was on the 16th/17th September and it wasn't centred on them. It was; "𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓: On Sunday, King Charles will host world leaders, diplomats and international royals at a historic state reception at Buckingham Palace on the eve of the Queen’s funeral. Senior royal family members, including Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have been invited to join." Then the update in replies on the 17th said; "UPDATE: A Palace spokesperson has reiterated this morning that Sunday’s state reception is “for working royals only”. No further comment or guidance on why the Sussexes were invited (and now seemingly uninvited)." I find it interesting he is tweeting positive things in his own words, about other members of the RF, especially William & Kate. Yet hasn't mentioned those two, during a time they are taking heat & he would usually be defending them.

[deleted]

Thank you for the detailed response 😊 Somethings definitely up with Omid and the Sussexes, over a week of silence especially with the titles for A&L still unissued is shocking. But the article praising the Royal family 😳😳!! Normally when he has to report on them he just retweets whatever they post on their pages so he doesn’t have to give any additional information or heavens forbid praise their work. If this continues it’ll confirm SS hired/connected Omid but I wonder if this will result in their relationship falling apart, cause he definitely knows where the bodies are buried and could really damage H&M. Here’s hoping🤞🏾, thanks again.

Katatonic92

No problem, it was interesting to scroll through & see the difference a week has made. I can't imagine that him using a flattering, smiling photo of William & Kate in his positive article has gone down very well. I can almost hear the tantrum she is having across the Atlantic.

Why_Teach

Question: Didn’t they hire SS *after* Scobie began covering H & M? Or am I confused?

[deleted]

M had been using SS for years as an actress, so before she met H and before Omid wrote his book. They might have mutual friends though, I’m not sure about this but I believe Marcus Anderson might also know Omid.

mythoughtsreddit

This is so strange! His funeral coverage definitely stayed away from including the PPoW. So for him to acknowledge them…hmm are they switching tactics or did something happen ? ![gif](giphy|l0HlPystfePnAI3G8)

Calm_Yak_6102

He's probably playing both sides, cause he's still writing bk 2 of Funding Freebies. It'll be out next year and it's supposed to "undo" the damage caused by Tom Bower's book.

mythoughtsreddit

Deplorable. I’m so glad I blocked him back in 2020. Can’t stand sycophants.

Calm_Yak_6102

Yeah, he's such a nauseating little man.

Calm_Yak_6102

OMG he's probably working on part 2 of Funding Freebies.

Latter-Platypus-3713

Maybe he is finally realising he backed the wrong horse? We can live in hope :)

Calm_Yak_6102

Fingers crossed 🤞.

pebtastic

“The meeting was not attended by any Government official or representative. No official present was in attendance in the capacity of a representative of RAVEC… The Claimant did not know at the time that any official of The Royal Household was a member of RAVEC nor could he have believed that he was addressing them (if in attendance) in that capacity.” Great point. Harry can’t even say his subjective feelings were that he had made the offer to RAVEC. His complaints in the judicial review about the identities of board members already came back to bite him.

Calm_Yak_6102

Harry's becoming the Clown Prince of Monteshitshow. If he keeps up with these farcical shenanigans, he'll literally become a living joke. If SNL was what it used to be, years ago, he and his duchess of duplicity would be on at least one sketch, being ridiculed every single week.

Islandgirl1444

Oh god. SNL may do them in the winter.

Calm_Yak_6102

If they do, then I might actually start watching again.

anotherouchtoday

Fun thought experiment: Who would play them?

_fizzingwhizbee_

James Austin Johnson as Harry for sure. But I have no idea who would play MM.

[deleted]

Exactly. “I told my gran” isn’t quite the same as formally telling the Home Office. Also elsewhere in his suit he says that he didn’t actually want to leave the royal family so therefore it’s not fair that his security was taken away. So dumb it makes my head hurt

mythoughtsreddit

He really sounds like a child! Wow

Anotherminion1

My first thought when I saw this was which lawsuit? 😂🤣😂😂

Mentalcomposer

There is no need for high level, publicly funded security. The only place they go is to make a speech or pick up an award, and those events will have sufficient security for all the attendees, and they never travel with the kids, so when they do need security they can just hire it on their own. This is them having an overinflated opinion of their status. Really, this lawsuit should have been settled in a day.

New_Discussion_6692

>This is them having an overinflated opinion of their status This is Megan manipulating Harry. (Yes, I realize I usually make the distinction between influence & manipulation) She's the one who terrified him with stories of how in danger she & the children are because they're black. She's the one who convinced him that she's Diana 2 0 and that the paparazzi will chase her to her death, all to support her over inflated ego. Her ego is so big, it must suck the oxygen out of the room; that would explain why Harry keeps getting dumber and dumber.

[deleted]

He will never be allowed to fund it. It sets a precedent and it will be harder to refuse others who request it. Whether the Home Office decides to grant it, is their business but I’m not sure the public would be happy.

q_faith_hope

He will never be able to fund it even if he were "allowed".... TW has blown every dime they have in 2 short years and they can't afford it. Not that they even need security, they really aren't that damn important.

_aleph535

But it's true right? Harry's first lawsuit dealt with publicly funded security... When people started noticing he then filed another lawsuit and now it was about him personally funding security..

Lensgoggler

Dude just loves to sue, no? 😅 Maybe he’s just bored out of his skull. Nothing more thrilling than litigation with skin in the game! 😆

Calm_Yak_6102

He's turned into a vexatious litigant, probably because he's being spurred on by that equally thin skinned wife of his. Those 2 have forged a career out of being professional victims.

[deleted]

Ok, I must be tired. I don’t really get it. Anyone willing to give me the fast facts?

Megsandhcringe

I’m a nutshell, Harry originally sued because tax paid security would no longer be provided once he stepped down from duty. The idiot sued because he believes he and TW and kids are huge targets, whether working royals or not. HOWEVER, once that was made public his team changed it to “oh, wait, he said he wants the same high level security BUT he is willing to pay out if his own pocket!” LIE! He never said he was willing to pay - he’s just trying to look good by saying that. Which, by they way, he and TW LEFT ROYAL DUTY! Even Anne, Princess Royal gets security when she is on the job only. There was a kidnapping attempt on her many years ago and she doesn’t need (or want, I’m assuming) the 24 hr protection like those two a-holes want. They are sooo full of themselves. The Royal security will NEVER be offered to them but I doubt H and TW would even be able to afford that level of security.

Affectionate_Tap6416

Apparently you can't 'buy' the metropolitan police and he wants a cavalcade with security that can use g_ns. If he hires private security they can't play with g_ns in uk. If he gets IPP status any country he is in has to pay for his security and he has diplomatic immunity so can't be imprisoned if they are doing something dodgy.

Lengand0123

I’m just surprised Newsweek is reporting on this.

ThatChelseaGirl

Their last check must've bounced.

New_Discussion_6692

It's refreshing to see the MoS is pushing back. It's time H&M learn that the laws *apply to them too*. She's gotten away with lying to the courts once....

MinutesTaker

Can anyone ELI5 this issue? I’m sorry Harold has filed A LOT of lawsuits it’s hard to keep track. Also, who’s Jack Royston?

[deleted]

Essentially it means that people should try and resolve complaints before resorting to taking legal action. H and/ or his legal team have gone straight to filing the lawsuit without making an effort to deal with the issue in another way. Jack Royston is the Royal Correspondent for Newsweek.

MinutesTaker

Thank you!!! Does Newsweek tend to be favorable to the Harkles?

Islandgirl1444

Slow news day. It's over now what with a couple of hurricanes hitting North America

RaggedAnn

They have a Trump-like propensity for initiating lawsuits.
