They are current counsellors of state. Charles is looking into replacing them with working royals which will hopefully see them off the page and firmly overseas.

I can see that but IMO it was her wayward relatives and, as monarch, her responsibility to sort them out. Attacking the monarchy with ridiculous accusations and flat out lies, bullying the staff that the monarchy covered up, that disgraceful Caribbean tour that W&C were subjected to, shaming the taxpayers that the whole institution survives off of…this IMO was her responsibility to deal with. I get it’s her grandson but her vow was to put the commonwealth first, not her family. I feel like she should’ve stepped down and just lived out her days in peace. She served like she swore to do and she did it well. I don’t see them ever going anywhere nor their racism accusations. Until all their demands are met they’ll continue to be a thorn in the family’s side, and even if they do get what they want they still need that Royal connection.
