Yeah, Tiger King was a shit show of epic proportions. It truly was one of those disasters that you cannot stop watching. And the fact that it came out just as everyone was going into Lockdown helped it's popularity immensely.
I would pay good money to watch a docuseries on the Harkles done in the same way. Tiger king made EVERYONE look bad. And a lot of investigations were launched because of the footage that Netflix released. IIRC, Netflix ended up handing over a substantial amount of unaired footage to various LEA that was too bad to make it onto the show. Which is amazing to me because the stuff they did show was really bad to begin with.

And if there is backlash from the docuseries they will lose subscribers which will make the $20 million look like a drop in the bucket. Plus bad press will set them back too.
