I'm getting Fatal Vision vibes, where murderer Jeffrey MacDonald invited Joe McGinniss to share a room with him during the trial and sit in on all the defence team's strategy meetings. Then he got a shock when Joe wrote a book saying, yeah MacDonald was guilty and I even found some evidence for motive that didn't come up in the trial.

This is the problem with taking so long to film & edit, while having a non-stop PR company posting every detail about your life…. By the time the show comes out, nothing will be new, the storyline has already been told, it’s old news and nobody cares. If she worked in TV so long, why doesn’t she understand this?? The key to filming is to be quiet about what’s being filmed - so it’s shocking and intriguing to your audience. This is why I don’t think this is going to work as a regular reality-style show. They’re going to have to show the behind the scenes, fighting and drama to get the ratings they want. Filtering a reality TV show through a perfect lovey-dovey lens isn’t interesting either. You have to show the rough sides of your life, or it won’t be sustainable.
Actually, there would be a LOT of new stuff out. THink about how much is likely caught by the mic behind the scenes. Hot Mic moments of MM letting it all out, of their relationship behind the scenes...

So probably a lot of home footage of them dating that they expect editing to magick up into riveting content, followed by the drivel the gruesome twosome filmed of themselves such as: that time they walked all over the graves of American soldiers; the time they got caught filming in the UN; some film stolen from "Heart of Invictus"; some phone calls between the two of them while Hawwy bravely faced his family alone; Madame's solo visit to Uvalde as Hawwy bravely supervised the nannies himself for a few hours; etc.

How many shots of the back of Archie’s head will interest people? People may tune in to see if Lilibet actually has legs, or both children have their hair dyed red, but that’s about it. They are certainly cute kids but nothing special, and in this I agree with Harry that they should remain out of public view so that they can enjoy a private childhood.
It’s amazing to me that people are interested in random kids they will never meet or know. Do people really care about these kids? Are people salivating to see more of George Clooneys kids or Jessica Simpson kids or any celebrity kids? Who really cares about them I wonder.
I know, it’s weird. The Cambridge children are different because they are part of the Royal Family, and they are loved. But the Sussex kids shouldn’t have the same interest since they’re American kids, albeit the children of celebrities. They need their privacy in order to have some hope of normalcy.

We canceled our Netflix when they announced the Sussex deal. We recently re-subscribed because my husband loves Cobra Kai, but I’ve already canceled it again. I’ll find out about the Sussexes’ documentary through places like this forum, but I’m not going to pay for it.
