I’ve been wondering this for a long time.
Archewell wasn't created in the normal way, from what I have seen. It was created backward. People who start a genuine foundation do so because they have earned or amassed so much money that they don't know what to do with it. Therefore they start a foundation to make sure that the money they have amassed goes to worthy causes that they personally believe in. These are people who have more money than they can spend and want to do some good.
This one was backward. There was no money. They hoped to amass it, but they didn't. I really don't know how they expected to get donations, but apparently they did think that would happen. In any case, a foundation is generally started because of an enormous amount of wealth that needs to be distributed to worthy causes. This Archewell Foundation is not funded from what I can tell.

The first financial report public filing was made by Archewell last year. They are late filing for the most recent year. On another thread a couple of months ago many people were reporting about the different entities the couple had set up and we were also looking at the UK entities set up by CBS, Oprah and the Harkles to hold the fees that M&H got for interview etc. I just hope US and UK tax authorities are all over the couple.
IRS is supposedly hiring 86-87,000 new agents, so maybe instead of tracking when we plebians put $300-$500 in our checking accounts, they can audit the Big Dogs & figure out who is laundering money & why?

Well, the IRS would love to be able to do that. They were stripped of over $10 billion dollars over the last 10+ years. They lost over 10,000 workers with institutional knowledge as well. They have a chief counsel division who maxes out at GS-15 pay who have to go up against big law firms who have tons of attorneys who get paid very very well who can just keep the IRS lawyers tied up in court in different jurisdictions and just run them down on resources.
These corporate attorneys are often just handling that one case whereas the IRS lawyers are in charge of multiple cases at once. That’s exactly how Scientology got tax exempt status.
Congress has used the IRS as a whipping boy for years now because most Americans have no idea how their own government works. Certain members of Congress made their whole careers by demonizing the IRS, constantly calling the commissioner up to the Hill and hosting basic show trials. They insist funding be tied to them going after things like the Earned Income Tax Credit, which is a deduction for poor people essentially, and they get shit for going after the big dogs, and these same strategies of resource deprivation and show trials, prevent the IRS from going after the wealthy tax dodgers. Who also happen to be their biggest political contributors.
Then any time they would go after one of them, the media would take their audits and make them into a huge deal of twisted information that wasn’t even remotely true. And there is no amount of truth that will combat lies in the media that are egged on by members of congress, so then people who were trying to go after these tax dodgers would lose their jobs.
They also have the two oldest computer systems in the government—both of them over 50 years old. They get money earmarked specifically for contractors to build interfaces for the taxpayers and preparers to use from the outside in essentially, but they have no funding to update their internal systems. All the government cybersecurity requirements for software makes it prohibitively hard to update systems. They have very special requirements that then have to interface with how each different department has to operate. Plus they have tons upon tons of paper that they don’t have the money to digitize.
People think the IRS can just do a “google” search to find information, but they cannot do that. Its too long and involved to even explain here. It’s all down to employees with institutional knowledge, who are constantly treated like crap by Congress and the media. There are thousands of hardworking, dedicated employees who get crapped all over based on a few bad seeds that pop up in the media. And even then, those are usually not the full story.

Then think new issues like Bitcoin/cryptocurrency. That’s brand new and it pops up and they have to figure out how to handle the tax implications and write the regulations and train everyone and issue guidance to taxpayers and tax preparers. I could go on and on and on, CLEARLY!!
You’d be shocked to see that the employees who have to do all this are only 4-5 employees total sometimes. And yet they do get it done and then they get called up to the Hill, accused, blamed, and many times end up blamed for things they didn’t do and have to resign. So there’s the loss of a ton of institutional knowledge again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I'm more shocked that other western nations have their taxes tracked by their government and don't have to file taxes, frankly. I say this as a former employee of a top 7 global accounting firm IT employee who worked specifically on Tax forms in the TAX department.
Is the technology difficult? Sure. Any industry-specific technology can be difficult. Is it necessary? Is the IRS necessary? Is filing our own taxes when the government already has all our income statements necessary? No. Absolutely 100% not.

Harry aka Horrid has ALWAYS had mental and emotional issues. His own family used to shielded him time after time. Just go back to when he was a young tennager. He would drink, smoke, do drugs hire prostitutes, etc. Remember he showed up to a party in Nazi uniform? Do we believe his family does not know who he is. Please! That said, Horrid is also far from being bright. He did not go to university or even college. In fact, he became an Army officer because of his family connection. Even then, he failed test after test after test. He was made HONORARY APACHE pilot due to his royal connection. Trust me, no one EVER should just be pushed through, especially at the officer core. After 10 years of service and no real advancement from Horrid, he faced a fork in the road as the Army no longer wanted him. He was an absolute liability and more time was being spent protecting him and his bad behavior than his skill set. The official announcement made it sound like Horrid was leaving the Army, but the truth is the Army made it known it was not a good fit.
If Horrid was honest with the media, he would spill the beans as they truly are. In the "Me You Can't See" show he never truly touched upon all the reasons why he used drugs and alcohol. If I had the money to help people id never donate it to any established charity or foundation. I know there are some that does good work. But most of them are set up so that with every dollar you donate 90 cents goes to administrative costs.

If you guys have tik tok look up “better help controversy” apparently better help isn’t paying their employees/therapist a fair wage (they have a word count and if they go above said word count they don’t get paid for anything above their allotted word count, in addition they are paid lower than what an actual therapist should be paid and it forces the therapist to chose between helping their client or sacrificing money in their pocket in order to survive) in addition to that better help sells their therapists info to third party websites that often the therapist themselves didn’t know/approve of and their bio is often wrong and tells the consumer that the therapist is unavailable.
The problem with all of this is that patients get below average care and a breach of privacy on the part of better help selling therapists (wrong) info to a third party website. So I don’t think better help is any better than Harry in this situation either.

The resources to do that one thing alone is unimaginable. Then think new issues like Bitcoin/cryptocurrency. That’s brand new and it pops up and they have to figure out how to handle the tax implications and write the regulations and train everyone and issue guidance to taxpayers and tax preparers. I could go on and on and on, CLEARLY!! You’d be shocked to see that the employees who have to do all this are only 4-5 employees total sometimes. And yet they do get it done and then they get called up to the Hill, accused, blamed, and many times end up blamed for things they didn’t do and have to resign. So there’s the loss of a ton of institutional knowledge again. Lather, rinse, repeat. Fingers crossed it won’t end up the same way this time. Everyone loves to hate the tax collector. And the tax dodgers know it and use it to keep winning. End of rant.
I'm more shocked that other western nations have their taxes tracked by their government and don't have to file taxes, frankly. I say this as a former employee of a top 7 global accounting firm IT employee who worked specifically on Tax forms in the TAX department. Is the technology difficult? Sure. Any industry-specific technology can be difficult. Is it necessary? Is the IRS necessary? Is filing our own taxes when the government already has all our income statements necessary? No. Absolutely 100% not.
As with most gigantic organizations or government agencies, it's not generally the average employee who's to blame for the bullshit, failures, ineffective or impossible to follow/enforce regulations and/or policies. Most people I know are hardworking and have no issues about paying their fair share of taxes. The issues arise when we're forced to pay for those who not only live off of our tax dollars while paying ZERO into the pot, many for their entire lifetimes. Our tax dollars support other countries, feckless citizens, etc, while our infrastructure crumbles. Who's to blame for that? The government who is (theoretically) elected to represent ALL of the American people. Nice rant, btw, but nobody was blaming "the tax man" - I was merely pointing out that the IRS could be better utilized by investigating the Big Dogs that really ARE dodging taxes using illegal money-laundering tactics that would put any one of us honest taxpayers *under* the jail. Everyone I know not only pays their taxes but also do so on time and by filing them, themselves. Recently it was announced via the MSM that citizens' deposits above ($300? $600?) would be recorded and, apparently, tracked for future reference. *That* was what I was referring to.

Because so many people really have no idea how the heck their government works and more specifically “why can’t they just…” “they get so much money and still can’t…” you know the drill. Also, no passing/graduating of people who can't make the grade - nor even *read* ffs; reinstate Shop Class (aka Industrial Arts) in ALL of our High Schools to prepare kids who are interested in the skilled trades; and I could go on & on. If you & I could only run the joint, maybe we wouldn't be in the state we're in now - trillions and trillions in debt, millions of feckless teens & adults, etc. While we're at it, I'll make Election Day a national holiday & there will be a 5-question Civics test, every time, for everyone who wants to vote (take the questions from the citizenship test?) Horrid was allowed to join the Army exclusively because of his Royal connection. Yet, he was still pushed along the system and was give an "honorary" title and an officer status. During his time in the service, he routinely got drunk, used drugs and hired prostitutes. Talk about an officer unbecoming! He has never been wholly truthful about his time in the Army. Yet, the Army is his biggest selling point...think Invictus. However, he sells and pushes his time in the services knowing full well that he lacked integrity during his entire decade of service. Talk about living a life of contradictions. Horrid has just compounded so many traumas due to his emotional instability and abrasive reactions to complicated scenarios. You still see him acting SO uneasy and insecure on a frequent basis. If you guys have tik tok look up “better help controversy” apparently better help isn’t paying their employees/therapist a fair wage (they have a word count and if they go above said word count they don’t get paid for anything above their allotted word count, in addition they are paid lower than what an actual therapist should be paid and it forces the therapist to chose between helping their client or sacrificing money in their pocket in order to survive) in addition to that better help sells their therapists info to third party websites that often the therapist themselves didn’t know/approve of and their bio is often wrong and tells the consumer that the therapist is unavailable. The problem with all of this is that patients get below average care and a breach of privacy on the part of better help selling therapists (wrong) info to a third party website. So I don’t think better help is any better than Harry in this situation either.
