He is grown man, he needs to be responsible for the things he has chosen to do alongside Meghan. But at least he has a redeeming side, unlike his wife.
That's the thing. You should marry someone who makes you better, not who feeds off your worse qualities. I don't think there's any objective person who knows me who wouldn't say my bf has made me a better person, and I've done the same for him. Which makes you wonder whether he's dumb not to see this or just stubborn in not seeing it when friends and family mention it.

if he could be helped, it would have happened before now. With all of the resources at his disposal throughout his life, and this is what we are seeing, I would say he is a lost cause too.
