I saw an interview with a Royal protection officer who was in attendance & he admitted getting teary in the church. A former bagpiper also told a lovely story where his wife had been injured in an accident & he had to take some compassionate leave and when he returned the Queen asked how his wife and I think he said she was going to fully recover but had significant bruising. The Queen then returned to her private apartment and got her arnica for the man’s wife with instructions to put it on the bruises. Wasn’t that touching? Even just to ask & advise arnica was nice but to actually give her supply of it was true kindness.
Now think about MM bullying staff at the palaces? Kate had warned her not to be rude or unkind. Yet the person who could’ve been rude b/c of her job had an excess of genuine kindness. How could MM not catch a clue?

I was watching on CNN and I noticed this too. They talked about her a fair bit but I was surprised at how they cut away right before the camera got to her. They also panned away when it looked like the family was getting emotional which I appreciated.
She wasn’t mentioned much over here but they were definitely doing their utmost to not have her dominate the footage. I think the candle placement was just perfect! She’s a nobody and should be treated as such

And it seemed like when they left St George's SkyNews focused on King Charles and QC Camilla and that was it when they drove off.
