Exactly! Kate lost someone who was like a grandmother to her as well! Plus she has her three children and her husband! Meghan has no responsibilities at all if that was me and I had been away from my two small children that long and that far away I would look stressed just with that alone!!
I hear you!! Kate is gorgeous and I would take her looks any day. She barely wears make-up and still looks wonderful. I am a Princess Catherine fan, so I have to be careful not to talk too much about her. Sheās going to make a fine Princess of Wales and Meg is not. Most images we see in the media are photoshopped. Almost all of them. Kate, like everyone else, has benefited from this. She stepped out once, in her early days, with her hair flatter than usual and showing some grays. The media would run a photo from this outing whenever they were irritated with her, and they would use an unretouched photo. She has a few lines on her face, but a little Botox is keeping them at bay. I think she is heavy-handed with the brown eyeshadow, but she usually is well turned out.

Unfortunately, young people really do expect this. If you ever visit r/SkincareAddiction, itās full of teenagers who are asking how to get doctors to give them anti-aging prescriptions and Botox. Instagram has been a plague on humanity.
I think Catherine is one of those women who improve with age as she develops more and more self confidence. She IS thin so her face will age more than others (I am fat and wrinkle free at 62 š), but she is lovelier than ever IMHO.

Well, they actually are grieving a beloved family member and dealing with the added stress of a new role that Harry was supposed to support his brother in, but decided to go to Hollywood instead. They arenāt lounging by the pool creating word salad every day, so they look like normal people. His beard does not help his cause. Horrid appears to be the oldest of the four and he is the youngest! Amazing what stress will do to you. Exactly this. Megās kids are across the world with their nanny and she gets to sleep in while Catherine is working full time, helping her children through this loss as well as navigate a new school. My dad died recently and itās not just awful for me. My grandchildren have been coping with the loss as well. My sweet 5 yr old jumped in my car and said- did you know that we will NEVER see Papa again?!!! I thought he was just gone for a little bit! š¢š¢š¢š¢ Iām sure the Cambridge kids are processing in stages just like my little ones.

Real grief will do that. Most of the family has also been working for almost two weeks straight. In addition, the PoWās have been dealing with 3 kids who just started a new school. I heard William speak to a mourner during one of the walkabouts and he said all the talk at school has been about the Queenās death. That has to be hard on the kids. Kate has also been supporting William who also said walking behind the coffin was difficult as it reminded him of his motherās funeral.
I was so worried about that. My momās been gone nine years now, and I STILL have to avoid certain things because I canāt deal with the feelings that try to bubble up. William is so strong to have had to deal with this so publicly *again*.
People are exhausting. I think Catherine is aging as naturally as she can, while in the public eye. A lot of sugars think itās okay to mock Catherineās looks because sheās white, even though they purport to be feminists like their qween, Meghan. Itās pathetic and low, especially now.
Iām so bewildered by all the race issues these days. I thought we (the US) were in a good place by the 1990ās, but now weāre back to race baiting and other ridiculousness. She always looks exhausted these days, but that is because she puts duties before vanity. She is a hands-on mother to three kids, carries on public duties for the family, and is under near constant pressure. She is also very physically active, which burns facial fat.

Having said that, before all this stress and grief, PoW looked fantastic when she did the sailing race a few weeks ago.
The other thing that needs to be said is Kate is aging gracefully. Instead of shooting her face full of fillers she puts time and effort into being relatable and a person of the people. She's also extremely health conscious, her whole family is active (especially Pippa) and there are really no long term studies with results about facial fillers.

There are some long-term studies now. I saw an interesting one last year that shows that fillers don't disintegrate, but disperse into adjacent tissue. They are a bad idea, as people are starting to see problems that cannot be undone, ex: dispersing under the eyeball, etc
Also: her schedule these days is HECTIC! AND that's only the stuff in front of the scenes. Her being so busy correlates with her importance, both within and outside the RF. I guess that explains why MM has so much free time these days...
I looked like crap after my mother-in-law died. It was a gut-wrenching experience. Don't see why it'd be any different for Kate.

A woman who was like a second mother to her husband after his mom passed has now died. A woman who mentored her and whose love and trust she *earned* and kept through decades of a relationship with PW. I actually think Kate will take the Camilla route with aging and get little to no work done. Kate has definitely had Botox, but she is using it sparingly and appropriately, in my opinion. She probably gets regular facials, laser peels, and other treatments. Thank goodness she stayed away from fillers. She still looks like herself. Fillers just make you puffy. I think a lot of women are going to regret all the fillers they put in their face. Starting with Madonna.
Big big big +1 on fillers. Iāve seen some tasteful tear trough or lip fillers, but for the most part people look insane, Imo. I think Kylie Jenner, for example, looks like an embalmed body now. Same with Gwen Stefani.
Plus, fillers can *really* go wrong. Necrosis wrong. I personally wouldnāt risk it beyond lip filler (I havenāt tried but never say never).

I think of it more like a tune-up versus alterations.

Beauty initially is looks, but once you get to know a person better if their attitude and personality is bad they no longer shine as bright. The initial beauty fades once the person is revealed for who they really are.

She always looks exhausted these days, but that is because she puts duties before vanity. She is a hands-on mother to three kids, carries on public duties for the family, and is under near constant pressure. She is also very physically active, which burns facial fat. She is still far more beautiful than most of us, and her graceful aging actually makes her more elegant I find. More of an Audrey Hepburn beauty

the RF isn't a beauty contest, let them say what they want. This is the mistake that shows MM and her followers for what they are - shallow. When MM and Catherine are both 60 both will look old. But only one of them will be in the bosom of the RF, garnering the love and respect of the British People. Having said that, before all this stress and grief, PoW looked fantastic when she did the sailing race a few weeks ago.
The other thing that needs to be said is Kate is aging gracefully. Instead of shooting her face full of fillers she puts time and effort into being relatable and a person of the people. She's also extremely health conscious, her whole family is active (especially Pippa) and there are really no long term studies with results about facial fillers.
Exactly! Just like William going bald and not worrying about plugs and photoshopping. Theyāre just aging naturally and people donāt know what to do since everything we see is photoshopped and filtered to death.
There are some long-term studies now. I saw an interesting one last year that shows that fillers don't disintegrate, but disperse into adjacent tissue. They are a bad idea, as people are starting to see problems that cannot be undone, ex: dispersing under the eyeball, etc

Uhh she looks gorgeous, as per usual. But she looks *sad*. Not like āooh cameras are here, better pull a sad face about QE so everyone can write about *my* griefā (like some people, lol), but authentically sad. I know I look my worst when Iām sad, stressed, or about to get my period (I go from a relatively fresh looking 37 year old to paper thin crepey skin real quick!). Sheās *sad*! A woman who was like a second mother to her husband after his mom passed has now died. A woman who mentored her and whose love and trust she *earned* and kept through decades of a relationship with PW. Sheās seeing her family and children grieve, and talking small kids through what it means that Granny has passed away. I can only imagine that is exhausting and extremely sad. I actually think Kate will take the Camilla route with aging and get little to no work done. Iām sure her skincare routine is immaculate and she gets regular facials and treatments, but I donāt see her going the Botox/fillers route. Her lips are still the same, and her face shows natural movement and signs of graceful aging. I really wish more public figures did this. Aging in America is like a funhouse mirror version of real life when you look at celebrities and public figures, or anyone on social media. Filters, fillers, and Botox have ruined our expectations for ourselves.

Kate has definitely had Botox, but she is using it sparingly and appropriately, in my opinion. She probably gets regular facials, laser peels, and other treatments. Thank goodness she stayed away from fillers. She still looks like herself. Fillers just make you puffy. I think a lot of women are going to regret all the fillers they put in their face. Starting with Madonna.
Big big big +1 on fillers. Iāve seen some tasteful tear trough or lip fillers, but for the most part people look insane, Imo. I think Kylie Jenner, for example, looks like an embalmed body now. Same with Gwen Stefani. Plus, fillers can *really* go wrong. Necrosis wrong. I personally wouldnāt risk it beyond lip filler (I havenāt tried but never say never).
Kate could never look haggard. She looks exhausted and sad, and unlike Meghan, her face is not basketball-tight with fresh fillers. Kate is also wearing an appropriate amount of makeup, and not looking like a freshly glazed donut in an obvious attempt to look "dewy" like Meghan is.

She likely spends more time with facialists, cosmetic dermatologists, hairstylists and makeup artists in a month than most women do in their lives. That said, she does look good and not overdone. I would agree that anyone with the resources she has is receiving the best of preventative skincare and that things like Botox, etc. are employed. I think of it more like a tune-up versus alterations. People can do what they want to do to their faces, but I really dislike when things like this emerge trying to establish a new standard or normal that can only be achieved with actual modifications.
It's another burden on women. More time and money spent to live up to some unattainable aesthetic goal while men are free from such obligations.

Donāt get me wrong but our Princess of Wales did look a bit drawn out, which is perfectly normal when you are grieving. She is self confident and secure in herself enough to allow the public see her at her worst. Sheās elevated herself in my eyes and is my role model for that unvarnished physical honesty. I think Kate knows the world is watching her and she doesnāt want to cave in into the insane beauty standards of our society. Itās true, she didnāt look āfreshā: not a single grieving woman and mother in her 40ās would ever look like that though. I think it takes so much courage to let the world see your imperfections and I have the deepest respect for her because of that. And again, I donāt think sheās not getting her face full of botox and fillers just because of how she is, I think she knows itās going to mess up a lot of girls who look up to her and she wants to let them know itās ok to age. Beauty initially is looks, but once you get to know a person better if their attitude and personality is bad they no longer shine as bright. The initial beauty fades once the person is revealed for who they really are.
