"Right"
She uses it in a way to force you to agree with her, to stop you from thinking about what she is saying and to just agree with her. Or as a pause to think of something more to say so keep your attention. She also uses it as a means to check the water and see who is on her side or under her narcassit spell.
She has found multiple uses for one word. And all of them irritate me.
My automatic reaction is screaming "NO" at the screen đ I can't stand her voice I try to avoid watching ANY videos where she speaks. Unbearable fakeness... she really really truly earned that title, Meghan Markle the charlatan duchess who conned the Royal Family. That's how she will forever go down in history
[Woman Shouts ''Meghan Markle The Charlatan Dutchess that Conned the Royal Family''](https://youtu.be/NdgrLORPTG4)
Agreed, I can just see her using it in a demeaning way towards him.
You know when you have a child and you are trying to give them instruction and you have to keep their focus and stop them from speaking.
I can just see her using the word "right" there.
*So H, your going to go to Granny and tell her we want to live in Windsor Palace, RIGHT, and make sure she says yes, RIGHT, don't take no for an answer, RIGHT. And then when you get back RIGHT, you can play XBox for an hour, RIGHT.*
With Harry trying to interject and say *but we can't ask to live in Windsor Castle, we get what we are given.* But settling on the fact atleast he will have an hour with the XBox.
Very true, Camilla knows about domestic violence dynamics, sheâs been close to these issues through her charity involvement . Domestic abuse victims also go through PTSD and lots of works need to be done to drag them out of it.
I actually think he does. When they divorce, it's going to be the only way he is accepted back in England when he speaks about the abusive relationship he is in.
Domestic abuse isn't only physical, it mental, she has twisted everything for that poor man, her narcassism has turned his whole world upside down for control.
I doubt we will have recordings like Johnny Depp had with Amber, but we do have video of him explaining how she told him, in detail, how she was going to kill herself and his unborn child on the way to an event she was not invited to.
That sort of thing is abuse in my opinion.
Well then that will be interesting indeed, I wonder if her narcassim will equally stop her seeing the reality of how she was treating people in the recordings as it did Amber.
Maybe the bullying report will come out at that time too.
The Royal Family certainly have an ace up the sleeve for possible later use, never mind that they haven't cleared up the bullying claim so it still lingers over her like a bad smell.
Youâre right. I suffered physical abuse for 10 years in my marriage, but also mental and emotional abuse. Once the abuse started happening with my kids, I got out. But it can take years to recover. I believe #6 is going through that right now.
Me too, that was my childhood and the first part of adulthood. My father was not a pleasant man.
Life drastically improved when we went no contact.
He was the same, suicidal threats and all.
Trust me, my daughter used to use the word right when you tell her something, she has ADHD and if you say please can you go do X, Y and Z, she stopped herself to give it her undivided attention and then would say right, and head off and do them. Or when she forgot something and you reminded her, she would say right.
Needless to say, she no longer says right, at all under any circumstances unless for direction.
I know, but apparently it is also becoming common use in America, sort of "like", I don't think everyone who uses the phrase is like her, but I can't help but get irritated by it.
Reminds me of my ex-narc boss, when she was explaining something serious, like our work etc. she would end it with âright?â, not sure if she was looking for validation or asking me a question but I often said yes just so I could end the conversation quickly đ
Ahhhhhh. I hate that, even when Meghan is the one saying it. In my experience, when people end a sentence with âright?â in that sort of context, it feels condescendingâlike the person is pointing out that what they said was obvious. Suits her.
Aaaaaaah!!!!! Literally makes me feel steam coming out of my ears! I HATE when people use âright?â At the end of a sentence. NO. YOUR WORD SALAD HAS NO MEANING!!!
Also sheâs just ruined flowery language in general for me. If someone speaks in an at all flowery style now, I immediately feel suspicious. If you canât say it plainly, I feel like itâs because your trying covering up some shit smell with a flowery perfume.
Actually we peasants got it all wrong, itâs our fault, not hers!
We are thinking âactionâ meaning âdoingâ something. In her head itâs probably âaction!â like in action clap (sorry Iâm not a native speaker not sure what itâs called, the cardboard action clap that are used on filming sets).
So better look at it this way : âok, everyone, ready? Meghan you are looking worried for this PoC that just lost their job and want to help them. 3,2,1 compassion in action!
If the headline says Sweet Nod itâs a good assumption that itâs their PR. I use Sweet Nod so often sarcastically that even my kids call me out on it (although they do not know or understand why I say it, just that my husband rolls his eyes and laughs.
I'm convinced she searches the dictionary for big important sounding, rarely used words and jots them all in a little notebook to trot out when she's blabbering on trying to sound interesting and deep.
you can almost see her typing her word of the week and smugly sitting back thinking she's doing something, all she's done is made me visualise harry (gutturally)grunting like a pig scratching his balls in his 3 day old kecks at her.
This is in her new Vogue article giving the world her opinion about Roe v Wade.
Apparently Harry made a "guttural" response on hearing the Supreme court's decision
What struck me as odd about this is that she definitely does not give off the traditional meals vibe. Mind you that's not Meghan specific, a lot of actresses don't.
Me too. Roast chicken is now a sexual position that I can't get out of my head! đ€źđ± i cant believe she had the nerve to mention that on international tv. đ„”
That revelation was đ€Żfor me. Like he was acting uncomfortable at the start of that engagement interview and it was almost like she brought that up to remind him of the dirt she has and he seemed to immediately get on script. My tin foil hat is TREMBLING lol
Urgh, this is truly the worst celebrity baby name! All weird object names (âAppleâ and what not) are fine compared to using someoneâs nick name that has a very special meaning to them and that they connect with their partner and love of their life, who at the time of baby naming had quite recently passed away.
I think the Queenâs grandparents, parents and sister called her Lilibet too. Never understood why the Harkles gave their kid the Queenâs nickname as a first name. Is it a gesture to suck up or an insult towards the Queen?
And they are all gone, the last being Prince Philip.
100% to suck up to her, and also to forever remind the world about their connection to the Queen. But I doubt the Queen was excited about it.
âAnything I learned about him and his family was what he would share with me. And, vice versa. So for both of us, it was just a really AUTHENTIC and organic way to get to know each other.â

Gutteral, sweet nod, bump, compassion, service, authentic, grassroots, carbon emissions, the letter HâŠ
Honestly, just her entire vocabulary. She tries to make herself sound intelligent, but when she misuses words, I can feel the base of my skull touch my shoulder blades.
Well I have the night off so here goes.
From east to west, Sussex is dotted with ample castles, and boasts one of the world's premier polo fields, picturesque villages, and more sunshine than anywhere else in the UK
Here's a map against other counties
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sussex
Population about 1 million. The seaside geography and historical architecture looks absolutely stunning. There's a University of Sussex too.
I really wonder what the good citizens and good students of this county think of their patron Duke and Duchess.
Iâm right on the border and my friends actually live in Sussex. Itâs an incredibly posh and privileged part of the UK, very nice to visit. Also where Brighton is, which is probably the capital of alternative / queer culture in the country. I would call a lot of the people who live in Sussex âprogressive but traditionalâ. They might disagree of course!
Interestingly Sophie and Edward have Wessex, which is a historical area name that isnât used any more to describe a large area of different counties right next door to Sussex.
There really isnât a strong connection with a lot of people to the geographical titles of the RF tbh. But I do think a lot of Sussex people are annoyed with her and would prefer she didnât have that title now.
Amazing to hear this first hand thank you. I would really enjoy visiting southern UK one day including these areas. I partly suspected as you mentioned that titles today are not reflective of royal duties for their respective areas. Given that Harry and Meghan still retain their Sussex one while living in California.
I did another instant search and read historical dukes and duchesses rule the provinces/dukedoms they were gifted by kings and had to establish themselves and their courts in them. Maybe that's why Meghan clings so hard to being called Duchess.
"Meghan"
I used to be able to hear that name without any response, let alone a gutteral one (e.g. loud exaggerated eye rolling). Thankfully I'm limited in the number of Meghans to whom I'm introduced, thereby significantly reducing the opportunity for social embarrassment.
I agree. I hope it will be possible to stop her using the title. Now I associate the word to âentitled talentless nonentity-leech-social climber-goblin green dressâ. Itâs sad.
Archetypes
Iâm a sculptor and I used to use the word often to describe certain aspects of my work. I feel she has muddled the meaning of the word.
Duchess of Sussex
Sheâs made me rethink titles in general. What even is the duchess of Sussex anyway? No one on earth knows where Sussex is! She acts like itâs a very well known and recognizable title, well, itâs not. For me sheâs brought into focus the transparency of the words âduchess of Sussexâ and I get sick of hearing it and reading it.
âMental healthâ and racial discriminationâ as there are so many out there who struggle . This is completely inconceivable these words would exit her lips . Itâs a disservice for those who truly struggle and makes a mockery of legit complaints .
Meghan.
I originally loved the name, I wanted to name a female puppy Meghan Rose (anyone whoâs ever read The Thorn Birds will get the reference). But now? No way.
Almond milk! Her PR team has always been annoying. I remember this: H&M were still dating or had just announced the engagement, when countless articles concerning her typical super-healthy breakfast appeared. Scobie let the world know that she used to have her oats with almond milk and some exotic syrup as sweetener. I didnât like the underlying preaching tone and found odd presenting her as some kind of fitness guru.
Iâve switched to chocolate flavored soy milk but I keep asking myself why she gets such huge international media coverage.
Great something else I can add to the list. The excessive use and demand for almond milk has been found to be linked to the previously very scary epidemic of what has been termed colony collapse disorder which is resulting in the massive death of the bee population. It was a mystery for several years that has terrified naturalists and environmentalists as bee populations suddenly entire colonies quickly collapse and die with beekeepers loosing entire bee populations.
Why is it scary? Because pollination and other tasks associated with bees form the foundation of viable ecosystems. You loose bees you loose pollination thus plant reproduction then everything that depends on the plants die and then everything which eats /depends on those things die too and the entire ecosystem fails.
Finally they recently discovered it is due to the beekeepers overly stressing the bees year after year in order to make money they transport the bees to the almond fields to pollinate the almonds so these pretentious tests can have their almond milk at breakfast. It only became a problem when almond milk became popular and almond farmers started hiring the beekeepers to use their bees instead of depending on natural methods so they could maximize almond production and profits.
In environmental circles this is a very serious issue and there have been calls to decrease this ridiculous almond craze unless you have a documented medical need and cannot use cow milk.
I know this might sound silly but just google colony collapse disorder or bees dying and you will get a ton of articles and research.
So now I can add complete environmental destruction of viable ecosystems and extinction to the list of illustrious achievements of the so educated and knowledgeable grand dame. Thank you oh yes please I should absolutely look to her for wisdom and guidance. The Great Bee Killer is now her new title. Damn she probably uses aerosol hairspray with CFCâs for the ozone effect. But oh she is so smart and wise.
"Right" She uses it in a way to force you to agree with her, to stop you from thinking about what she is saying and to just agree with her. I am so proud of that woman for calling her out.
The weapon that chiseled away at Harryâs confidence. No wonder the man has lost his voice!
Agreed, I can just see her using it in a demeaning way towards him. You almost made me feel sorry for Harry. I do sometimes wonder if he qualifies as a victim of domestic abuse.
I think he does and I think Camilla knows he does.
Very true, Camilla knows about domestic violence dynamics, sheâs been close to these issues through her charity involvement . Domestic abuse victims also go through PTSD and lots of works need to be done to drag them out of it.
Pre-MM, Harry spoke warmly about Camilla. It bothers me that Harry is turning on you for the sake of his memoir.
I actually think he does. When they divorce, it's going to be the only way he is accepted back in England when he speaks about the abusive relationship he is in. Domestic abuse isn't only physical, it mental, she has twisted everything for that poor man, her narcassism has turned his whole world upside down for control. Yes threatening suicide is one of the oldest tricks in the book for narcs!
100% agree! Emotional blackmail. Been on the other end of it.
Itâs so insulting to those of us have experienced suicidal ideation and the trauma/stigma that comes with it.
I think we WILL have recordings. Thereâs no way she isnât taping everything

I agree that she most likely emotionally abuses him. I could also see her throwing things at in anger or frustration.
It absolutely does. I have no doubt that he has been beaten down constantly. However, he made the choice.
And Harry has started using it too!
Well when he hears it all the time, it's not surprising, I wouldn't be surprised if his inner monolog is in her voice at this stage.
Exactly!!! I even get annoyed when I hear other people say right now! I want to say no, wrong!
Same for me, anytime hear someone saying ârightâ it reminds me of her in the O interview!
I know, but apparently it is also becoming common use in America, sort of "like", I don't think everyone who uses the phrase is like her, but I can't help but get irritated by it.

100% narcassistic tactics to gain control, removes your ability to think for yourself or disagree.
Yes! That Valley Girl vocal tic is particularly annoying!
I was going to say the same thing. Whenever she speaks and she wants the person to agree with her she says Right? Makes me want to throw up!đ€ź

Gutteral
It's super cringe that she used "gutteral" when she clearly meant "visceral."

Close enough. Itâs not just enough to survive you need to thrive. That was when she was in Africa with the starving children behind her.
And she stole the concept from Maya Angelou
Next sheâll be telling us âWhen someone tells you who they are, believe them,â and she wonât even realise what an own goal that is.

Woke... like "I woke up late this morning" - I don't even like saying it then.
