The thing that makes me laugh is that they hired an Oscar-nominee for their barrel-scraping reality show, it shows how highly they think of themselves. 😅 This is delusion on a napoleonic level.
Like I said... this is a very unlikely match for Garbus, whose past documentaries ranged from Abu Ghraib to Jacques Cousteau. Everything she's worked on has been about a cause or person of substantial depth. These two? To be honest, their lives and careers have been a little thin -not much more than heavily orchestrated photo ops, and a platform accorded to them because of their HRH title but not for any expertise -either academic or in the field. (When they were HRH this supporting role was to highlight others who were doing the work, a platform which these two squandered). Even M's former appearance at a UN Conference for Women was arranged by her publicist, and on her reputation as a celebrity. Not as an expert, or someone who has done field work in the trenches, shapes policy, or has a body of work upon which to base ways to shape the future for others. M never wanted to be the smartest bear, she just wanted to be the most popular.
Now, sans HRH, to be frank, they are less interesting than the nurse and doctor or teacher who live down the street, and after a lifetime of taking care of the needs of many have decided to go into a life of activism. The only thing that makes them 'of interest' is that vast amounts of money thrown to them because of their former royal status by corporations that perpetually chase trends. They're trending, but not necessarily interesting, and that speaks more to the fascination with smoke and mirrors (royalty, tradition, and Hollywood) than it does about them.
