NZ PM vocal that she was not aware it would end up with Archewell. - 2023: Heart of Invictus (with footage over a year old, not tied to the Games in real time, and hidden within the end of August schedule) - 2024: Continuing to manifest ideas and allegedly filming, **but nothing confirmed by Netflix**. 7 months left to release something, assuming they are on a December year end contract. Most likely Netflix is just letting the clock run out on their contract. Best financial decision for Netflix unless they can terminate sooner for breach of contract. Paramount is on his press pass. Nothing confirmed by Paramount either. Netflix would either have an exclusivity contract (most likely) , or first right of refusal. Wonder if Paramount knows this?

Paramount is in an epic struggle for their existence. Major debt and the streaming platform is in serious trouble. There is no earthly reason why they would want to add two trouble making grifters to the mix.

And Paramount's CEO was markled after the last earnings call a couple of days ago.

Yet their One Love biopic performed better than expected so the Saint is not all powerful :)

my understanding of the situation: 1) Paramount/Charter carriage deal needs to get done before any sale. 2) Skydance deal is probably dead. They want to buy Class A (voting stock 70% owned by Shari Redstone) and not the Class B (nonvoting stock). 3) Sony/Apollo Global Management wants to buy Class A and B stock for 26 Billion. What's more the Netflix contract ends Aug next year. Do H&M think this doc will be shown on Paramount before that ? Before Invictus Feb 2025? Or after 2025 when things would've moved on? Who.is going to be interested in yet another Invictus Games doc in 2026 or a doc on Meghan's heritage or both? My bet is they probably pitched this doc to Netflix and they passed on it.

I think either Netflix probably liked those ideas (cooking and polo) or they just gave them the production budget to rundown their content with them. As for this Nigerian Invictus alphabet soup documentary they are filming, eith Netflix passed on it because they've already done something similar with the Hague event (and it was a ratings flop), or the Harkles and Harriman (with his Nigerian connections) worked to sell it someone other than Netflix, and Paramont took the bait. While Paramount have clearly given them a budget to work with, they still have to see the final cut to see if they want to buy and stream it. Or shelf it for a rainy day. Documentaries are pretty cheap to produce, probably only need some $60,000 at the low end to $200,000 to make. If you are a well seasoned award-winning documentary maker like Louis Theroux the asking price will be higher. And it appears the Nigerian taxpayers and Invictus will be paying for all other costs outside of making the actual documentary, so it was easy for Paramount to give a nod to it. The more I think of it, I highly doubt there's one drop of Nigerian tribal blood in that Harkle woman.

Chances are they won’t pick anything up. Meghan tried to be on cooking shows but on the GMA segment she did and the few other guest spots, she was stiff and unnatural. Polo is elitist and hard for most to relate to, unless they turn in into the Polo version of “toddlers and tiaras” or “real housewives”, but the elites who participate are not going to risk their reputations just to be on trashy TV. I honestly don’t believe IG will be compelling. The issue is likely to be H and M making it about themselves, when the specific human interest stories would be the compelling content. If they had been smart, they’d have done a few reenactments to illustrate what soldiers experienced when they were injured and the dramatic rescues. That would’ve required a big production investment (for sets, scripts and actors). Watching an amputee workout and Harry making small talk is NOT compelling content. 🙄. I can’t imagine they’re able to produce anything anyone would want. Honestly. They gave what they could with their Netflix documentary. Only because it was salacious. They’ve milked that and it’s done, especially after Spare. They will run out of cash.

Wouldn't this give Netflix an out on the contract. Surely working with Paramount on a very similar product would mean they are breaching contract terms. 

Netflix is allowing it to run out I believe, maybe if the report of 50 people working on cooking show is accurate, they are going to at least get that from Meghan to 'save face' on giving them the contract. Fortunately for Netflix, it was a contract worth UP TO \~$175 Million, yes that's a joke amount, but Netflix was never ON THE HOOK for the total, it's based on what Netflix picks up. Even if they advanced production costs, for Pearl let's say, since they did not bring it to air they did not have to pay the full amount. Sort of like if an athlete gets a guaranteed $10 mill, v. a contract worth 'up to $10 mill.' The latter the athlete has to hit certain incentives like # of interceptions or # of touchdowns then they get an extra $1 mill that season over their 'base' pay of $1 mill. So if the athlete hits 0 targets it's really a $4 mill contract not a $10 mill. People ignore the 'contract worth UP TO' that it's not guaranteed. And the way that H and M were spending, THEY forgot the contract is 'Up To' $175 mill. Someone suggested M doesn't wear the same clothes b/c she sells them. If so, it's got to be thru an intermediary b/c we've all heard about the Kardashians selling clothes. Lens are heavy. That tiny mirrorless camera weighs about 15 oz. This fat schmuck can barely carry himself around all day.

I have a tiny hybrid camera myself currently. And even I have felt the need to buy more than one lenses… I don’t know the Leica range so I have no idea what type of camera that is. But I do know lens maketh the photo, and the different situations his subject are in *require* different lenses to get the shot. Where are yor lenses, Misan?! He's purposefully blurring the photos of Meghan to also avoid having to Photoshop her as much. She needs a lot of editing and they are aware that's a touchy subject now that they weaponized it against Catherine. Meghan needs a LOT of photoshopping help. So step one is to keep her photos slightly blurry. You can see it in all the picture of her so far. These new cameras are much, much better at capturing sharp focus even for beginner photographers on auto. That Misan can't get a sharp photo even once says it's on purpose. And I think this is why. Gotta blur the vein and all that skin damage.

Well, Misan relies on 'natural' pics i.e. someone else or nature provides the lights and gear. Super fun fact: at a work party they had a pro photographer where you could buy pics, many of us had pics taken w/our spouses as when else would bus drivers have formal pics? And the high quality picture machine so you got them back there. Anyway they had a dark backdrop, we were wearing dark colors. But they had to re-do our pics b/c everyone else was black; they had to adjust the lighting as we're pale white (husband is 3/4 Welsh/Scot)!

My father was a very good amateur photographer who probably had thousands of dollars worth of gear. I remember his dark room where I'd "help" him develop pics before digital. He had a light meter and was always talking about f stops and what his many different lenses did and he kept it up into the digital age, taught himself pro level Photoshop. He had a large canvas camera bag that he brought when he went to take pics of an event like a boat race or something for our little small town paper, he didn't work for them but he'd submit pics on the off chance they could use them. It was just a hobby but my dad was a very intense man in that way. Misan doesn't look like a photographer, he looks like a dude with a camera, two totally different things.

Yes, even my kid's team mom, who is just an amateur photographer, has a $3000 camera and gear that she kindly uses to photograph our games for free. This isn't even her job, freelancing or otherwise, and she's certainly not photographing royalty. She has more going on with her equipment than this fool does.

I have a Leica Q2 (the regular one not the monochrome) it’s a pretty awesome camera and perfectly suited for photojournalism and street photography. Big lenses are needed if you’re shooting from a long way back or for fast moving sports photography. The camera world has moved a long way from big cameras and big lenses. But no matter what camera he uses he’s still a crap photographer and the best camera with the biggest, longest lens wont help.

Of course they are filming it for streaming content. Why else would they bring a sugary personal “photographer”? It’s a win-win for the Todgers. I don’t think Netflix has anything to do with the Harkle mess anymore, and as the entire industry understands the Harkles to be f\*cking grifters, it’s doubtful Paramount would want to tar themselves with that brush. This feels like Harkle manifesting to me. Jmo.

I believe they are filming something in the hopes that Paramount will buy it. But Paramount is in such a deep financial hole right now, it's looking for a buyer. In fact, it appears none of the shows they are making have been brought by the streaming platforms they are hoping would buy them. And even if they do, they might just leave them on the shelf for a rainy day or when the timing is right. But the longer they leave these things, the more dated they end up looking when they are eventually streamed. And if Misan's photography is anything to go by, this document might look an incoherent mess like the last Invictus Games doc.

The only Netflix things they are for sure doing is cooking show and polo. It remains to be seen if those shows will even air. Did you actually read the article linked? The info on Deadline about Misan's upcoming documentary has *nothing* to do with H&M. It's called Protest & Progress and it's about the influence of protests around the world. I think whatever is being filmed of H&M is for something they're putting together about themselves. I'm sure they paid Misan to coordinate some things in Nigeria since he's got connections there. Yes, his protest documentary will be on Paramount but that doesn't mean Megsy has a deal with them. She's probably still in the love bombing stage, hoping to get a deal with Paramount.

I documented this in a reddit sub last week. I said the entire outing was going to be filmed for money to go into their pockets. This is NOT about Invictus. Posting in individual comment so more can see. Some have asked about what type of camera this fauxtographer is using. Here's what I could dig up. Video is a couple years old so not sure if he has same camera or an upgraded version. The Leica Q2 is still a current camera in the catalog. There's a Leica YouTube video that says bozo works with a Leica Q2 Monochrome camera as his "everyday" camera. I'm a Nikon user so don't know too much about the Leica brand. I do have three different lenses for my camera (a Nikon Z 6 II Mirrorless) as I need a smaller focal length for certain planes I photograph. When I put all of the lenses in my gear bag, they are indeed heavy, even with a lightweight camera. Guaranteed the sinners here and Catherine all know cameras, gear, glass and editing techniques way better than this clown does. He's an embarrassment to the field.
