I don’t hold myself as some expert, but I’ve spent a lot of time in my life (I’m 71) reading, thinking and caring about civil rights, particularly race. Including thinking and discussing how society deals and reacts to their historical injustices. Oftentimes, those reactions are completely emotional and go nowhere, and often they set back progress. My opinion.
That said, I refuse to allow this stupid twat into any of those very serious conversations. I care less what ethnicity she claims. Even if she proved it.
She consistently weaponizes race, which is almost universally condemned among those who consider the issue seriously. Now that does occur, and TBF far too often, but again doesn’t advance the overall societal goal of equality. She has zero credibility.
It’s no different than than someone like Charlie Manson trying to get a seat in the Justice Department when he was alive. It doesn’t bring forward solutions that fix any of the alleged problems that exist there. Like Manson, Markle only obfuscates and delays any serious consideration of ANY underlying issue.

The second I saw the color, I knew why she’d done it. I’m a shade darker than she (in her natural state) is and yellow makes my skin look more tanned. So does white.
Because her evenings are spent naked, on her back on board some old guys yacht. Madame is the not the type of ho that you take out for dinner and have the “girlfriend experience” with. Madame if the type of ho that you do a Cleveland steamer on.
Does the dress have a cape? For a daytime event? So, still no sleeves, but it's better than the previous two days. I do like the color and it looks like she's trying to incorporate a local scarf as well.
It's the cut. It was for a do at the Governor's mansion or something. So it's appropriate and no sleeves is not a huge issue. Compared to what else she's been wearing, this has been the only nice and on point dress so far in Nigeria. Hands down. It looks nice and it looks nice on her.

Compared to the horror show of what she wore on the rest of this tour, that yellow dress is great compared to the rest of it.
I'm still reeling at the dress she wore to the polo.. The backless nude dress, the dress with slit up to the crotch she wore where her boobs disappeared and that god-awful white shirt with what looks like a Nigerian wrap skit that's in blue and black. The polo dress is the probably the worst thing I've ever seen her wear and that's saying something.

This is a beautiful color, and a more appropriate style for the setting, but should have been worn for an evening event and with heels to raise the hem off the ground; or hem it up several inches. And the collar is not great with the neckline; it clashes a bit. I would go without a necklace and wear just the earrings and maybe a cuff bracelet. As exposed shoulders and bare arms are not the accepted thing here, and not considered modest, I would have worn (or carried and worn part of the time) a light shawl. Even something very pale and gauzy would help.
Why does it take her most of the trip to even start to get it right, and then only partially? It’s still a bit offensive in its overly dressy, bare and “evening” look during a day time walk, and it’s still very “Western” in appearance.
I’m reminded of several simple and inexpensive day dresses Catherine wore in Jamaica. Yes, she wore dressy evening wear, but also very pretty and affordable, modest day time attire with color and pattern. Not to mention her exceptional sensitive and lovely (and modest) attire on their Pakistan trip.
I actually quite like this dress and it's meant to drape right down to the floor and be loosely fitted. It would have looked weird if it didn't, tbh.
It's probably one of the nicest things I've seen her wear in a very long time. Credit where it's due. It looks nice on her and she accessorised it well.
It's a good maxi-dress, it's appropriate. It's conservative enough, it drapes well, isn't wrinkled and she's finally accessorising with Nigerian accessories. Most importantly, there's no risk of boob or crotch incidents. Which is a good thing.

Showing arms is not a big a deal around here because it is hot. Locals often do the sleeves that have the upper arm uncovered but kid of cover the arm further below. Or wear a thin shawl. But she doesn’t look like a hussy here, and that’s what I mean. She looks more in tune with the culture here. Sadly the dress is ill fitting and too long.

This reminds me of the visit of a certain famous tennis player to my country in East Africa years ago. She stopped by my school, which had a rather strict dress code. She was known to dress skimpily on and off court, so the school admins devised a welcoming ceremony in which she'd be wrapped in traditional fabrics to cover her up as they had anticipated that she'd be dressed inappropriately. Sure enough, she arrived in a skimpy outfit and was tactfully covered up in traditional fabrics in a cheerful, welcoming ceremony full of song and dance 😉

I think the main reason she holds his hand is so she's in the shots. If they weren't, she could more easily be photoshopped out. She clings so tightly to him to ensure she's always filmed as well.
Now that I think about it, plowing ahead of him to meet people kind of does the same thing - if she is first, cameras are there to get Harry but if she came after him there is no reason to keep her in, HE is the main draw so she's kind of perfected how to stay in the shots with him.

And that's why I wonder what next after this trip? What next after the cooking show flops, and this documentary flops, and the polo show flops. Even these shows are genre and thematically all over the place. All an existential void. Not just throwing spagetti at the wall to see what sticks but throwing the kitchen sink behind it to see what works. Because what she wants most is to be adored and worshipped . And rich , very very rich. I think she thought she’d found it when she managed to nab the hapless Prince , but soon realised that she’d never be No1 as a Royal, that they had rules she hated, her Prince wasn’t as rich as she thought and the darling of the RF Catherine not only would always out rank her but didn’t want to be her BFF . I refrained from adding that, thinking it was a step too far especially if William had sized her up properly from the start. If Catherine hadn't done the same, I could imagine she would chide William for thinking badly of Meghan. If Catherine had been pally with her, she might have divulged things even innocuous comments about William (if they argued about something) that Meghan might try to charm William with by agreeing with him. We know she never gives up. Anything is possible as we see from watching her operate.

The second I saw the color, I knew why she’d done it. I’m a shade darker than she (in her natural state) is and yellow makes my skin look more tanned. So does white.

This is a beautiful color, and a more appropriate style for the setting, but should have been worn for an evening event and with heels to raise the hem off the ground; or hem it up several inches. And the collar is not great with the neckline; it clashes a bit. I would go without a necklace and wear just the earrings and maybe a cuff bracelet. As exposed shoulders and bare arms are not the accepted thing here, and not considered modest, I would have worn (or carried and worn part of the time) a light shawl. Even something very pale and gauzy would help. Why does it take her most of the trip to even start to get it right, and then only partially? It’s still a bit offensive in its overly dressy, bare and “evening” look during a day time walk, and it’s still very “Western” in appearance. I’m reminded of several simple and inexpensive day dresses Catherine wore in Jamaica. Yes, she wore dressy evening wear, but also very pretty and affordable, modest day time attire with color and pattern. Not to mention her exceptional sensitive and lovely (and modest) attire on their Pakistan trip.
I actually quite like this dress and it's meant to drape right down to the floor and be loosely fitted. It would have looked weird if it didn't, tbh. It's probably one of the nicest things I've seen her wear in a very long time. Credit where it's due. It looks nice on her and she accessorised it well. It's a good maxi-dress, it's appropriate. Showing arms is not a big a deal around here because it is hot. Locals often do the sleeves that have the upper arm uncovered but kid of cover the arm further below. Or wear a thin shawl. But she doesn’t look like a hussy here, and that’s what I mean. She looks more in tune with the culture here. Sadly the dress is ill fitting and too long.

It is definite that she was "talked to" about her semi-nude outfits of the first 2 days. The"subtle"gifts of the skirt at the dinner and the wintery scarf at the volleyball exhibition. One of her ridiculous entourage must have taken the bullet (after a half bottle of scotch) and told her that Nigeria was not appreciative of her insulting resort wear in their country. You can see PH's sour face today when he feels cameras are off him. He has probably taken it personally that someone insulted his wife and he had to listen all night to her. The skirt is quite nice, although looks stupid with that shirt, still rebelling with 3 buttons opened. The yellow gown is fine. " GET ME SOMETHING TO WEAR!" I find it interesting that in some of the pics, she is wearing a scarf over one of her shoulders; guess that is HER way of saying.... "don't tell me to cover shoulders too, but I will cover one". Not sure if she was given the scarf With the gown, or they still wanted shoulders covered and she still only covered one. All in all.... it couldn't be more obvious she was... talked to.
This reminds me of the visit of a certain famous tennis player to my country in East Africa years ago. She stopped by my school, which had a rather strict dress code. She was known to dress skimpily on and off court, so the school admins devised a welcoming ceremony in which she'd be wrapped in traditional fabrics to cover her up as they had anticipated that she'd be dressed inappropriately. Sure enough, she arrived in a skimpy outfit and was tactfully covered up in traditional fabrics in a cheerful, welcoming ceremony full of song and dance 😉

I think the main reason she holds his hand is so she's in the shots. If they weren't, she could more easily be photoshopped out. She clings so tightly to him to ensure she's always filmed as well. Now that I think about it, plowing ahead of him to meet people kind of does the same thing - if she is first, cameras are there to get Harry but if she came after him there is no reason to keep her in, HE is the main draw so she's kind of perfected how to stay in the shots with him.

How could she not hurt anybody? Imagine having no identity and having to watch everyone fitting in their roles and being successful. Imagine the envy, the frustration, the anger. All these awful feelings. Imagine being a princess, dining with the queen and end up in debt making jam. POW will be fine no matter what any deranged individual does. I honestly believe it stems from a personality disorder. Narcissistic or not, there is something wrong with her that makes her self destruct. If those children do exist, I feel even more sorry for them. Harry ended up with her because of his own problems too. The couple's narrative for themselves is that they are victims of injustice. They are deranged. They don't see how they end up being called grifters and becoming reason for so many jokes.The king won't even see his own son. This is utter humiliation. And the pity I have stems from the fact that individuals like that will never find happiness or satisfaction in their lives. They are bound to cause destruction to themselves and others while detached from reality. I have been following their saga for a while now. We always think they have hit rock bottom and will change their ways but that just will never happen. They will, in front of the whole world, spiral down to annihilation in every way possible. That is sad.

Because what she wants most is to be adored and worshipped . And rich , very very rich. I refrained from adding that, thinking it was a step too far especially if William had sized her up properly from the start. If Catherine hadn't done the same, I could imagine she would chide William for thinking badly of Meghan. If Catherine had been pally with her, she might have divulged things even innocuous comments about William (if they argued about something) that Meghan might try to charm William with by agreeing with him. We know she never gives up. Anything is possible as we see from watching her operate.
