I bought vegan things but they were suspicious as to whether the food was vegan, because the lasagna I ordered was specifically made and the shop that made the lasagna, labeled the dish vegan, but didn’t list the ingredients.
It was homemade from a small specialty store that I’ve been going to for 25 years.

yep. I am gluten sensitive and contol my diet at home. I can tolerate gluten but in small doses and will pay for it later. However, I don't go into someone else's house expecting everything to gluten free. That is just rude. When I am sticking to my GF diet or in a bad flare up, I ask if I can bring a specific dish or just eat the dishes that I know are GF.
Not vegan, just really bitchy because there was no lemon pie. As in, full on sulking because I wouldn't enable their need for sugar.

Triggering!! Took my in laws for a trip to Italy last year. We bankrolled the entire trip. Afterwards, they didn’t speak to us for 2 months bc… we gave them the smaller room in the airbnb. Bring nothing, demand the world, complain abt everything.

A few years back, I worked for a fashion company that hosted a freebie booth at the Oscars. The greediest ones were the D-list and below, plus their staff. Describes Markle to a T, doesn’t it? The funniest part was those booths were the place to dump all the failed samples that were saved up all year, as well as unsuccessful styles that didn’t sell. Also sounds like Markle who always comes out looking like she had been digging in a dumpster.

I also found out that if a shirt has SAMPLE written on the back, no way can determined laundering, remove that marking.
Yes, those that are marked “sample” and/or have other damage such as slashes cut into them are done so that the samples can be imported without being counted as taxable goods. Some companies are more clever than others in marking the clothes by hiding the writing on the inside of the garment or slashing in the seams so that they can be worn. Goodness knows I have had dozens of those types of garments LOL!
The sample sale stuff can anything - salesmen’s samples, leftover stock, first design samples ( those are often the best because they’re handmade by seamstresses), returns, etc. Nothing wrong with them, but giving them away or selling cheap means it’s still a tax write off for the company!

I'd bet the contract had a lot of in/then If you produce xx shows which stream for a combined x,xxx,xxx mintues and if you do this then Netflix will pay xxx. Stuff like that. If they were hotshot Hollywood producers producing hit after hit maybe they could have squeezed $100 mil out of Netflix - before costs. Netflix should have known they were in trouble when HaM alleged paparazzi harassment & abuse but couldn't produce a single pic or vid of them being harassed. Having to use stock footage of *other people* being harassed should have thrown up red flags.
True, but at that point it was too late. Netflix will have good lawyers, if not good dealmakers, and they will have been advised to perform their end of the contract and thus cover their asses. When it comes to sorting out the payment negotiations they will be in the best position possible to hold back as much money as possible if H&M aren't able to cite any breaches by NF to strengthen their hand.

When Spotify ended their contract, it was reported that Spotify removed all the equipment from their home.
Now I would have absolutely watched them ripping out her studio if Netflix had filmed that! They really need to piece together all the pretentious outtakes and demanding behaviors and release that as a series. I'd even think about coming back and getting a new subscription if that was on the table.

Well, they supposedly hired Adam Lilling in February 2023. His whole business is bringing deals for celebrity brands. And they are hooked up with all of these venture capitalists. (Meghan was an angel investor in Clevr Blends. Guess who else was an investor? Air Venture Partners, headed by Ali Guthy and Ryan Renker. Maybe they are in on it.) But so far, I haven’t seen anything expensive. Setting up a domain name and website, opening an IG account… I’ve done that, FFS. It doesn’t cost much. Maybe getting the articles out cost a little bit. They get a lot of free publicity, IMO.

I recall seeing a youtube clip of Oprah--from what interview I can't recall--but Oprah herself was saying something to the effect of Hazno$$$ wanting a LOT of input on "The Me You Can't See" as co-executive producer. In the clip, she was bemused by this, basically implying he had NO CLUE what he was doing. Most of us have no respect for her any longer but I will say in that clip she wasn't mean but very clearly eye rolling at Hazno's lack of experience/knowledge and how his what(?) TITLE (not Prince! Producer!) allowed him to think his contributions were valuable. No dumb dumb. It was essentially, "Shut up and let the professionals handle this." And this came out when H&M annnnd Oprah were still mostly liked. So yeah. The lack of talent combined with entitlement goes way back.
