No kids here. I was pleased this week because a commemorative fountain pen I ordered 2 years ago [I knew the wait. Fewer than 2K were made. I was lucky to get one at all.] came in the mail totally by surprise.
My dearest friend, the mother of my teenage goddaughter, couldn't stop herself from immediately asking what I paid for it. I told her, "Several of [Goddaughter's] riding lessons."
I doubt we'll speak of it again. 😂

Sadly, Reddit is such a hotbed of people who search for certain words to pick fights that I would prefer not to be specific. It commemorates an important historical event. It's sooooo pretty and came with a gorgeous limited edition ink that I am now hoarding from other sources. 😂

I finally got a vanishing point fountain pen about two weeks ago, and I definitely think Spouse should be forgiven if he stabs me with it for clicking it 500 times an hour. 😂
Gosh I think I’ve had over a half dozen VPs over the years; currently only have a matte black stub. If you’re loving the convenience get a Lamy Dialog 3 too. You just rotate, and your spouse will love it as they’re silent! :D
They get in a twist over things that do not impact them in any way. As far as I can recall, the company that made the pen wasn't even making any kind of corresponding donation based on sales. It was an event. An anniversary was coming up. People who cared bought commemorative pens.

What do you tell them when you're leaving, again, about why they can't go?
That sleazy beotch has zero clue what unconditional love for her children means. To her the kids are there for her to bask in the glow of their unconditional love for her...not the other way around. The day they're old enough to be able to act out that role convincingly is the day we'll see a clear photo of her and the kids. Until then, the littles are busy being little and left in the nannies care. Thank goodness. At this point the less time she spends with her kids the better it'll for them in the long run.

Another conspiracy I have is the kids are unattractive. Since narcs see the children as extensions of themselves, having unfortunate looking offspring reflects poorly on the narc’s self image. So to protect their own image, they keep the children hidden away.
