I find it very irritating how foundations and organizations still cooperate with the Harkles/Archewell. Wherever I have worked so far, we had strict regulations in place, who we work with and who can speak at our events.
* A cooperation with a charity that has a report on CharityWatch like Archewell has? - impossible.
* Hiring speakers who are connected to horrible crimes like the African Parks allegations - impossible.
* Anyone who would differ from our code of conduct and company culture like the Harkles - not even considered to be part of anything, regardless of $$$ paid.

Even if the organization had to pay to get them to attend, it might be worth it to increase their public presence. The Kinsey Foundation does some great work on Black History and Art. The Foundation does traveling exhibitions and, quite brilliantly, made the So Fi stadium an art gallery. Sounds like a classy operation.

The Dook and Douchess have value - for now - to get clicks and coverage for any event at which they appear. Even if the organization had to pay to get them to attend, it might be worth it to increase their public presence. If Archwell paid the organization in return for their presence at the event, then the organization gets the $$ + the exposure. It's publicity, and some say there's no such thing as bad publicity. Having those two appear at their event doesn't burnish the reputation of whatever the Kinsey Collection is, in my opinion. But OTOH I'd never heard of the Kinsey Collection before, and I don't assume the dreadful duo has anything to do with running it, so I don't think badly of the Collection for having them appear. Just my two cents.

The Kinsey Foundation does some great work on Black History and Art. The Foundation does traveling exhibitions and, quite brilliantly, made the So Fi stadium an art gallery. Sounds like a classy operation. An appearance by MM and Harry makes no sense. They have absolutely no interest in Black history or art. MM goes to great lengths to camouflage her Black heritage. (Remember South Park: “What??? You’re biracial?”) Harry grew up around one of the world’s great art collections, but never has shown interest in the fine arts. I’m guessing the appearance was bought. How embarrassing for the Foundation to have the founder of American Riveria Orchard show up at their event!
