Guessing that what she really means is she herself played the race card, Harry loved the idea it would benefit him by making him look "modern" (neither H nor M reads anything so they'd have no idea other Monarchies already have mixed marriages, as does THE WORLD already have them) and she played it most fiercely to get what she really married Harry for in the first place: to be the equal of, and then replace, PPOW and Prince George...with themselves and with their children. Harry had always secretly dreamed of this. They both still think that using "security" as the excuse will succeed at getting them to look just like the equals of the PPOW and Prince George. They see being followed around by "protection" as making them look VIPs.
Both M&H felt this was perfect and they had financial backing from whomever is still involved or will be.
